Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "So far, so good. I’ve been on it for 4 weeks now. I did have gas and stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea, but that was in the beginning, and it’s lightened up a lot."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Ozempic has helped me, so I do not have to take insulin. When I first started it, I had tummy aches, but now that I have been on it for the past three months, no problems with that. You do have to be careful about how much you eat, Ozempic has helped me regulate how I eat and what I eat. If you overeat, you may end up with a bad case of diarrhea, but that doesn't happen very often anymore. One more thing, if you come off the Ozempic, you may see a spike in your blood sugar. Overall, I really don't have a problem with taking Ozempic."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I have been diagnosed recently (Aug 2024) with prediabetes, a very close call towards Type 2 Diabetes. Underlying health issues include high cholesterol, arthritis, receding spinal fluids, sleep apnea, and ultimately a walking cardiac arrest risk. I am 182 cm tall, 99 kg, at 46 years old, a guy who has been struggling with weight management seems like forever. Body fat of 28%, visceral fat level 14, waist size of 38. My endocrinologist put me on Ozempic first on a 0.25 mg/week dosage for 4 weeks. After that, he added piolet and increased to 0.5 mg/week for another 4 weeks. My testosterone level dropped from 20 to 7 after 1 month of use of Ozempic, and I was given a shot of Nebido. My testosterone rose up to 15. Now, at the end of Dec 2024, my weight is 82 kg, 18% body fat, visceral fat level 7, testosterone 19, normal sugar, kidney, liver level, while keeping Ozempic at 1 mg/week, not needing to increase further. No side effects at all from taking Ozempic, luckily."

Semaglutide "I am 24, 5’7, my starting weight was 230 pounds. I love, love, love this medication, it completely changed my life and gave me newfound confidence. I was literally at rock bottom, gaining so much weight and eating whatever I wanted. I was just in this cycle of binging and restricting. I had heard about Ozempic and immediately wanted to try it. I was so nervous, but I did it, and I’m so, so glad. I started in May of 2023, and by April 2024, I had lost 90 pounds! I’m now 130 and still losing after being off it for a few months. I have learned new habits, and it’s completely changed my relationship with food. I have had absolutely zero side effects, not even a headache. I am so happy with this medication, and I recommend it to everyone. Just take a chance, it could work out for you. It really depends, some people have bad reactions, but you never know until you try."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I have been taking Ozempic for 9 weeks. Started at 0.25 for 4 weeks, and then my dosage was increased to 0.50 for 4 more weeks. Last week, my dosage was increased to 1 mg, and now I am feeling nauseous and have been vomiting. I have to eat very small meals, or I throw it all up. Sometimes I am throwing up from the night before. I don't know what my A1c is currently, I have labs next month. My A1c was progressively going up, and I couldn't get it down. Will push through these side effects and see what happens."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I am 78 years old. My type 2 diabetes was not controlled very well until I was given Ozempic. The gap in my insurance was introduced, and my monthly cost went from $40 monthly to $145 monthly. I was able to manage it until the second year; my portion was more than doubled after the six-month period. As I could no longer afford it, I was given a pill that caused all kinds of gastro problems and made me ill. The Advantage Care I had last year sent me a letter that Ozempic would no longer be available in my pharmacy. I changed providers starting in 1-2025. My first deductible for Ozempic will be $450. After that, I don’t know what it will cost. I am living very dangerously because I cannot take the pill; it makes me very ill. I just hope that someone can get me information on more affordable Ozempic. I don't take it to lose weight; I take it to try to live longer. Apparently, this company is not on my page, and seniors without a lot of money are just expected to die without proper care."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 74-year-old male who weighed 250 when I started Wegovy. I am now a week into the 2.4 mg dosage and down to 224 lbs. My appetite has declined, and I no longer crave food. I have only one side effect, and that has been constipation. It started the day I began the medication and still continues. I am taking milk of magnesia, and it helps, but still not regular as I would like. I strongly recommend this drug."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have only been using it for 2 weeks. I have experienced no side effects, I go into the doctor tomorrow to recheck my A1c and my full body analysis. At that time, due to tolerating the medication well, we will adjust my dose to receive a more therapeutic outcome. Thus far, I am only on 10 units SQ weekly. The experience has been pleasant, medication administration simple, and I have tolerated the medication without side effects. I will update this later, with more clinical information and outcomes."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "It controls my type 2 diabetes far better than Glipizide and Metformin did alone. I only had very mild nausea for the first two weeks. Barely noticeable. I've been on it for a year now with zero side effects. I had to choose a plan on healthcare.gov to cover it better because of its extreme cost. The drug is a miracle for me. My A1C is now in the 5's, down from the upper 6's. I lost 30 lbs. without even trying."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have had an excellent experience with Wegovy. I started out at 232 pounds in April 2023, and by September 2024, I have lost 100 pounds. I have not had any side effects that I can attribute to Wegovy. It was very easy to use. I now feel so much better physically, mentally, and emotionally."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "First off, BigMac was my nickname in high school, not the burger. In July, my doctor put me on Wegovy .25 dose for obesity and diabetes. Each month, he has increased my dosage, I just finished my first month of 2.4mg dosage. Started at 369lbs, this morning 297 lbs (72 lbs lost), my clothes are ones I grew out of a couple of years ago. My A1C is below pre-diabetes levels, and my blood pressure is lower than it was when I was 20. I have gone over a week now with no events on my CPAP machine. I sleep better at night, I have more energy during the day. Twenty-two more pounds, my doctor says I will be able to have my knee replacement done. It has greatly changed my life, I am currently 63 years old and feel like I have a new lease on my life."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started Wegovy back in April of this year. Started at the 0.25 mg, titrated to 2.4 mg. I started at 203 pounds. I am down to 141 pounds. I cannot believe I lost this much weight. That part of my journey has been awesome. Side effects I am dealing with are mild acid reflux and dizziness. The dizziness is the worst."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Wegovy works great when you can get it! I have been on it for 3 months, and now I have been 3 weeks without it because I am constantly told it is on back order! It's very frustrating. You would think they could supply CVS with their product. I have even called the company that makes it and being told it is NOT on back order, they told me CVS is not ordering it. I don't know, but I am very frustrated about it."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "First day of injection, Aug 19th, 2024 SW - 236 pounds. November 22nd, 2024 last injection to date CW - 217 currently on 1.0 mg dose. Have not done anything extraordinary, try to make healthy choices and drink lots of water. Sometimes go for walks. Will continue to use this until I've reached ideal numbers. I like it, no problems so far. Just need to pay attention to hydration and nutrition. Sometimes experience nausea, drink water, take a Gravol. Also take a multivitamin but don't combine too many things unless you speak with a doctor. I'll post an update after Christmas."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I have been on Rybelsus 3 mg for 3 months. I am 46 (5'4') with a starting weight of 272 and A1c of 6.9. Now (9 months later) I weigh 255, and my A1c is 5.7. I had been taking Metformin prior to Rybelsus, and it was horrible for my stomach. The first couple of days on Rybelsus, I had few side effects, I had to avoid any fatty foods as they made me nauseous. For the first month, my appetite was small, and I had no desire to eat. After that first month, my appetite was back, and I didn't see the benefits in the drug for weight loss. Also, until diagnosed with diabetes, I was not active at all! I struggled to complete small physical tasks. I began walking 3 to 6 miles, 4 to 6 times a week, which I feel has benefited me along with medications. One huge plus for me taking Rybelsus is that I no longer struggle with my IBS. I have for YEARS (20+). Starting 7 mg this week and hoping it helps curb my appetite more than the 3 mg."
