Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on Wegovy since September 2024. To date, I've lost about 30 pounds. I've had very mild side effects, a little nausea occasionally, particularly the first few days after increasing dosage. I have ongoing GI issues that have made it worse a few times in the last 6 months, but nothing too serious. I was nervous about injecting myself weekly, but it has been relatively easy and painless for me. I'm finally getting clear signals to stop eating when I'm full. I used to think eating a full plate of pasta was no big deal, and now I eat less pasta in general, but if I do, I aim for no more than half, and usually it's closer to a third of a plate with the addition of a small side of non-starchy vegetables. I've been seeing a nutritionist too, and they've been so helpful in making lifelong diet changes. Right before I started taking Wegovy, I looked at the reviews on here and it nearly scared me away. I'm so glad it didn't. Wegovy has been such a helpful tool in my health journey."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've currently lost 12 kgs in 2 months, and due to the ongoing beneficial effects at .5, I've stayed at this dosage. However, I constantly feel dehydrated even though I'm drinking plenty of water throughout the day. The consequences are that I need to take laxatives at least once per week, or I have no bowel movements. Other than this inconvenience, all is good, and I'm still very happy with the results, which have left me feeling fitter and healthier."

Semaglutide "Been on Ozempic & Metformin for 1 year now for weight loss. I felt a little side effects in the beginning, but nothing scary or concerning, a little diarrhea, which was fine because I suffer from IBM. I’m happy with my weight loss, starting out 198 lbs, now 150 lbs, height 5’1. My doctor said to continue taking it because when asked if I should come off, the reason why he thinks I might gain the weight back. Only complaint is the loose skin looks terrible. I wonder if I will ever be able to tighten up with exercise."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on this drug for over two months, and it is fantastic. No side effects (just very mild in the first few days). I have stayed on the lowest dose of 0.25 mg so far, as I am losing weight gradually each week. I am eating healthily and keeping an eye on roughly how many calories I consume a day (this is so I don’t overeat or undereat. I want to have enough strength and energy for work and sport too). The drug is like a friend who has your back. You still enjoy food and can still feel hungry, but your appetite is reduced, as are cravings for unhealthy food. It’s a miracle! I ordered mine through Boots the Chemist, who offer a lot of helpful support and advice."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I’ve been on Wegovy 0.025 for only 2 weeks, and I’ve lost 7 lbs. I was 245, now I’m 238. This is a miracle drug. Only side effects are a metallic taste and heartburn. I’m not going to give up. I’ve been eating Healthy Choice TV dinners and loving the high protein and low-calorie meals. I’ll chat again in 2 weeks."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I started out on 0.25 once a week and then 0.5 for two more weeks. I am now at 1.0. I experienced a little nausea in the beginning, but it has subsided. I find it interesting that I don't crave salty foods and actually turn them down. I am craving salads, which I find interesting. I've lost 7 pounds in 5 weeks, and now with the increase, about a pound every two days. The best part is I am on Metformin and Janumet, with a daily blood sugar averaging 340. With the addition of Ozempic, my average blood sugar has been at 122. My A1C has dropped from 11 to 9, all in a very short time. I suffered heart failure last year, and my refraction rate is now back to normal at 55 percent. I am now experiencing some fatigue, but that could just be my body adjusting to all the meds on board. I feel I now have a brighter future ahead, especially with the normal sugar level, and am planning to do a lot of outdoor activities this summer. I've also gone back to water aerobics and have my life back."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I haven't experienced any side effects taking Wegovy. I can say I did start my whole journey with Ozempic in August 2023, right after my hysterectomy. Switching from Ozempic to Wegovy was a great move. I have had a wonderful experience being on it, my palpitations are really under control, my blood pressure is way down, and I even lost weight that I put on during menopause. I also have had high cholesterol (which is extremely high in our genes), and my last draw was good, even my A1c is down to a 4.6 from an average of always 5.3. I'm not constantly gulping water like a fish anymore and feel great, and I don't feel swollen like a balloon 24/7. My hot flashes went away along with the mood swings, and even my IBS has not been an issue. The only problems I have had is my insurance/pre-authorization to get coverage, so that's made it very hard to be on this because it has truly changed my whole life."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "From the very beginning, I began to lose weight and felt just fine. I lost the equivalent of a preteen child. I went from 265 to 189. It took some time, but I only developed heavy dandruff or mild psoriasis. After being off of Wegovy for several months, I only regained about 8-10 lbs. It has plateaued. Would I take it again? Absolutely!"

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Rybelsus has worked wonders for me. I started with the 3 mg for 1st month, then 7 mg for 3 mos. Still on my 3rd bottle, almost done. I'm 50 yrs old and weighed 271 lbs and now am at 249 lbs and lost 22 lbs; my A1C went from 8.4 to 5.3. I'm completely satisfied with my results. It really does suppress your appetite. I've had a few bouts of constipation, diarrhea, and nausea when I 1st started it. It wasn't right away either. However, there are no more side effects. I'm good over here!! Make sure you use the discount from the manufacturer online. $10/mo"

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I have been on Ozempic for 10 months to assist in weight loss and heart health. I have lost 70 lbs with this medication and diet. I no longer have heart palpitations either. I was born with a congenital heart defect, and excess weight is not good for me. Semaglutide has been a lifesaver for me! I do experience a bit of nausea for the first day or two following my weekly injection, but it is very mild!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started this program a month ago, and I lost 10 lb. But, I only eat greens, fish, and chicken. I walk 5 miles a day, I also ride my bike 4 times a week. I cut back on breads, butter, sweets, and eating so many snacks. This medicine just makes you full, like you can't eat anything like before. I am very happy with my results. We all need to behave our intake in order for this to work. Good luck to everyone who is trying to lose weight."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "My doctor put me on Ozempic in July because Metformin was giving me gastric problems. At that time, my A1C was 6.6, and my weight was 165. I had a few bouts of nausea the first month, but thankfully it passed, and it's been easy to take since then. For me, Ozempic has been a wonder drug because my A1C is now 5.1, and my weight is now 127, and that's a 38 lb loss. My weight has been a problem since I was a child, and it's ironic that I've finally reached my ideal weight at the age of 76. My only concern is will my A1C go up, and will I regain the weight if my doctor takes me off it. I wonder if he will put me on a maintenance dose. I've gone back to 0.25 and feel wonderful."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Miracle drug for me.... Blood sugar was up past 300, and now it averages 121 (I have the Freestyle Libre 2). Sometimes my blood sugar drops, and I get to 'reward' myself with a Chocolate Chip Cookie, but that's only once per month. Gas and bloating, sure I get that issue, but remember, your stomach isn't cramming food down your intestines like it used to. That food is sitting there for a long period of time. Omeprazole is all you need to calm that down, take once per day. Today, I hit 193.2 lbs, down from 240 lbs back in November (2.5 months now). I had a 40' waist back then, I'm fitting in 34' waist now. According to CDC guidelines, I should be 178 lbs at 6 foot..... I haven't seen sub-200 lbs since the 90s. I only inject the .25, I don't have a need to go any higher.... everything is great..... weight loss is a bonus. I feel great, my knee doesn't hurt anymore. My feet don't have peripheral neuropathy (damage to nerves in the feet) from diabetes. UNDERSTAND, I cut out all sugars and starches."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy for 10 weeks and have lost 40 pounds. I’m on a 0.25 dose and haven’t had to go up yet. Losing 2-3 pounds per week. The only side effect is constipation and dry mouth right after the injection and only lasts for 10 minutes. No complaints. Love the product! My insurance refuses to cover it. The doctor filed appeals and they still refused to approve. Will continue to use it for a few months to get to my goal weight."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I wanted to lose about 45 pounds and asked my cardiologist to prescribe Wegovy because I have cardiovascular disease. I'm on a Medicare Advantage insurance, and the med was approved. I have been on it for 2.5 months and am down 25 pounds. I haven't had any noticeable side effects except insane constipation. I already had issues with that, so I take a Linzess every morning, and that does the trick. I started noticing the curbed appetite the day after my first dose. It's not as intense now, but I have zero food noise, and I just can't eat like I used to. I have had migraines for 35+ years, and I haven't had one since starting Wegovy. I don't think it's my weight loss or improved eating habits, I think it's the medication. Before I became disabled, I was a size 4 and ate very healthy, but had 12+ migraine days per month. I inject my dose in the stomach each week and have never had any reaction to the injection. Overall, I am thrilled with Wegovy so far."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was at my heaviest in July, recovering from knee surgery-recovering from major abdominal surgery before ever being placed on Wegovy. I suffered with several issues due to increased weight gain, all the typical-some depression, never being able to lose more than 8 lbs., and then giving up. It's a struggle, and it was real. Prediabetic, having beginning stages of heart issues, orthopedically, beginning to have major issues with my joints and body. So many issues due to the increased weight gain from medicines and lifestyle. It was taking its toll. I started Wegovy in July (end of the month) at 279.8 pounds, my heaviest, and getting heavier every day. Today, February 11th-Injection day-and I weigh myself and keep track weekly on my phone. I'm at 238.4 pounds. I'm down 41.4 pounds and so proud of myself and my accomplishments. I'm at 1.0 shot and feeling well. I'm happier than ever, and I'm not looking back. I'm wearing clothes I never thought I would wear again. Feeling fantastic. This is the best thing to happen to me!!!"

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy in April 2024. I was 193 lbs at just between 5’1”-5’2.5. I had tried everything, but food noise and the fact that being so short, the calorie intake had to be so low to lose weight. Anyway, the first thing I noticed was a bit of nausea. That went away after a few days. I have had very minimal side effects. Sometimes a little nausea, constipation, or diarrhea. Nothing to really disrupt my life. For the first time in my life, I actually can tell when I am full. My IBS has been almost non-existent. I’m more awake. I have fewer sweet cravings. The food noise is still there, but my stomach is able to signal my brain that if I eat more, I will feel sick. I have lost to date 4/2024-3/2025, 63 lbs. I am just about to hit my normal weight goal. I knew how to lose the weight. I am someone who has a very difficult time shedding the weight with exercise and diet. I am super grateful for this opportunity to prove that a drug works so well."
