Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a pretty diabetic with IBS and sexual dysfunction. After I quit smoking, I gained a lot of weight. My doctor started me on 0.25 Wegovy, and I started to lose 5 lbs a week. My IBS symptoms improved. I was eating every two hours before, now I'm eating smaller portions and at regular intervals. After I got used to the dosage, the weight loss went down to a pound a week. The doctor bumped me up to 0.50, and I'm back in business. The sexual issues I was having have disappeared completely. Frequency, duration, and libido have all returned to what they were in my 20s. All of my side effects have been wonderful side effects. I have better mobility now that a lot of the weight has come off, more energy, and a much improved overall quality of life. The only negative thing I can think of isn't with the medication but the application. I have had two pens not inject the medicine into a very fatty area like the stomach. It seemed like the needle didn't reach, medication was left on top of my skin."

Semaglutide for Chronic Kidney Disease "I use Ozempic for chronic kidney disease. I was in the beginning of stage 4 in the GFR stages, a 29. After 1 month of Ozempic, I'm now in stage 3a with a GFR of 45. This means I don't have to worry about dialysis for right now. I did have severe nausea, with some vomiting, and a slight headache in the beginning, but those have gone away. Now I concentrate on making sure I am drinking enough water, eating enough food, and getting the correct amount of protein for me. I have lost over 20 lbs in that month, which means almost 2 clothes sizes lost. The Ozempic is easy to use, just attach a new needle, dial in the dose, and inject into a fatty area once a week. It has done what I had hoped for, it stopped the progression of the CKD (chronic kidney disease) while also causing a much-needed weight loss. Due to other health issues, I am unable to exercise much, so the weight loss is because of the effects of the Ozempic. I have also gone from prediabetic to normal blood glucose level and A1C."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm 6 weeks in on semaglutide compound. Started with the 0.25 dose, just went up. I have PCOS and have struggled since I was 18 (38 now). I hovered between 200 pounds all of my 20s and closer to 220 since COVID. I'm semi-active with an office job. I'm not a glutton by any means, but I love a weekend beer and dessert. This medicine was an immediate game changer! After the initial nausea and lack of appetite, it's been smooth sailing. I've lost 1.5-2 pounds a week. I think what really helps is learning what to eat. High protein and fiber are the majority of my diet now. I don't have cravings, I eat fewer portions, and bad foods I'd love before disgust me now. Down 15 pounds in 6 weeks. Over time, tweaking my fiber intake will help with constipation as that is definitely a side effect, but overall, I'm extremely happy! My insurance doesn't cover it, so I'm paying out of pocket."

Semaglutide "I have completed my first 4 weeks with Rybelsus, dose 3 mg, -4 kg. I take the pill first thing in the morning between 5 and 6 a.m. Only on the weekend do I eat breakfast 1-2 hours after taking a pill, during the week, it's roughly 3 hours before I eat. I noticed mainly that I don't crave sweets that often anymore (still eat some sometimes, but really small portions). In general, small portions of food, which I am really happy about as I used to eat too big portions. In the first week, I had a headache, but I realized it was my fault, I felt full when drinking water, thus did not drink enough, but after a couple of days, that was better."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking Wegovy since September (2024). I initially did not like the way it made me feel. I was experiencing constipation, headaches, and nausea. My next dose was 0.50, which the pharmacy was out of until this past April 2025. I was determined to see if I could withstand the side effects. My appetite was suppressed immediately. I experienced constipation, which I counteracted with stool softeners every day. I took Zofran for the nausea. I had started riding my stationary bike around the same time that I started Wegovy. On April 17th, 2025, I started walking 30 minutes a day. I am now at a 1.7 dose. Side effects are minimal. I noticed that if I am constipated, I would get nauseous. Stay away from heavy grease. I consume a protein shake every morning and try to eat meat as much as I can as I do not really have a taste for meat or I no longer like alcohol. I am happy that I tried it again. I am 6'1" and was 283. I am 266. I want to be 240. Yay!"

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "After taking Metformin and my doctor seeing it could cause kidney problems, he switched me to Pioglitazone. I asked if there was something that would help me lose weight (5'11", 270 lbs). He prescribed Ozempic 2.5 to handle both T2 diabetes and help with weight. It has aided in keeping my glucose down around the 100 mark, and I have lost down to 247, and that's in less than a year. I only eat when I am hungry, which is never, but eat for nutrition in smaller amounts. I am pleased so far with the product. I did find out through research that it slows the stomach emptying, which explains a pooched stomach for a few days until I can evacuate it. So eating less in quantity and more in quality helps with that."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I've been on Rybelsus tablets for 6 weeks now. I felt no difference on the 3 mg, but the 7 mg has given me headaches, bloating, diarrhea, and blurred vision sometimes. However, because it has brought my blood glucose from an average of 14 - 16 mmol in the morning to 9 mmol, the side effects are worth it. I've tried so many medications over the past 15 years, and only insulin and this Rybelsus have ever actually made any real difference. Since moving up to the 7 mg tablets, I have lost 5 pounds in a week, so all in all, this drug has been a Godsend to me. I only wish the tablets tasted better and were smaller to take. They taste vile to me, and I do struggle to swallow them because of their size and mostly because of their taste. So far, I am very pleased to finally have a drug that actually does seem to work. I am so grateful that I am in the UK and I get this medication for free."
