Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I have been on Ozempic for 10 months to assist in weight loss and heart health. I have lost 70 lbs with this medication and diet. I no longer have heart palpitations either. I was born with a congenital heart defect, and excess weight is not good for me. Semaglutide has been a lifesaver for me! I do experience a bit of nausea for the first day or two following my weekly injection, but it is very mild!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started this program a month ago, and I lost 10 lb. But, I only eat greens, fish, and chicken. I walk 5 miles a day, I also ride my bike 4 times a week. I cut back on breads, butter, sweets, and eating so many snacks. This medicine just makes you full, like you can't eat anything like before. I am very happy with my results. We all need to behave our intake in order for this to work. Good luck to everyone who is trying to lose weight."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "My doctor put me on Ozempic in July because Metformin was giving me gastric problems. At that time, my A1C was 6.6, and my weight was 165. I had a few bouts of nausea the first month, but thankfully it passed, and it's been easy to take since then. For me, Ozempic has been a wonder drug because my A1C is now 5.1, and my weight is now 127, and that's a 38 lb loss. My weight has been a problem since I was a child, and it's ironic that I've finally reached my ideal weight at the age of 76. My only concern is will my A1C go up, and will I regain the weight if my doctor takes me off it. I wonder if he will put me on a maintenance dose. I've gone back to 0.25 and feel wonderful."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Miracle drug for me.... Blood sugar was up past 300, and now it averages 121 (I have the Freestyle Libre 2). Sometimes my blood sugar drops, and I get to 'reward' myself with a Chocolate Chip Cookie, but that's only once per month. Gas and bloating, sure I get that issue, but remember, your stomach isn't cramming food down your intestines like it used to. That food is sitting there for a long period of time. Omeprazole is all you need to calm that down, take once per day. Today, I hit 193.2 lbs, down from 240 lbs back in November (2.5 months now). I had a 40' waist back then, I'm fitting in 34' waist now. According to CDC guidelines, I should be 178 lbs at 6 foot..... I haven't seen sub-200 lbs since the 90s. I only inject the .25, I don't have a need to go any higher.... everything is great..... weight loss is a bonus. I feel great, my knee doesn't hurt anymore. My feet don't have peripheral neuropathy (damage to nerves in the feet) from diabetes. UNDERSTAND, I cut out all sugars and starches."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "Ozempic gave me unbelievable diarrhea and I vomited on my baby more than she vomited on me. However, I have lost 24 kg in just a few weeks."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy for 10 weeks and have lost 40 pounds. I’m on a 0.25 dose and haven’t had to go up yet. Losing 2-3 pounds per week. The only side effect is constipation and dry mouth right after the injection and only lasts for 10 minutes. No complaints. Love the product! My insurance refuses to cover it. The doctor filed appeals and they still refused to approve. Will continue to use it for a few months to get to my goal weight."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I wanted to lose about 45 pounds and asked my cardiologist to prescribe Wegovy because I have cardiovascular disease. I'm on a Medicare Advantage insurance, and the med was approved. I have been on it for 2.5 months and am down 25 pounds. I haven't had any noticeable side effects except insane constipation. I already had issues with that, so I take a Linzess every morning, and that does the trick. I started noticing the curbed appetite the day after my first dose. It's not as intense now, but I have zero food noise, and I just can't eat like I used to. I have had migraines for 35+ years, and I haven't had one since starting Wegovy. I don't think it's my weight loss or improved eating habits, I think it's the medication. Before I became disabled, I was a size 4 and ate very healthy, but had 12+ migraine days per month. I inject my dose in the stomach each week and have never had any reaction to the injection. Overall, I am thrilled with Wegovy so far."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was at my heaviest in July, recovering from knee surgery-recovering from major abdominal surgery before ever being placed on Wegovy. I suffered with several issues due to increased weight gain, all the typical-some depression, never being able to lose more than 8 lbs., and then giving up. It's a struggle, and it was real. Prediabetic, having beginning stages of heart issues, orthopedically, beginning to have major issues with my joints and body. So many issues due to the increased weight gain from medicines and lifestyle. It was taking its toll. I started Wegovy in July (end of the month) at 279.8 pounds, my heaviest, and getting heavier every day. Today, February 11th-Injection day-and I weigh myself and keep track weekly on my phone. I'm at 238.4 pounds. I'm down 41.4 pounds and so proud of myself and my accomplishments. I'm at 1.0 shot and feeling well. I'm happier than ever, and I'm not looking back. I'm wearing clothes I never thought I would wear again. Feeling fantastic. This is the best thing to happen to me!!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This drug has definitely helped with decreasing my appetite and decreasing sugar cravings. I've been on semaglutide for 6 weeks and have lost 13 lbs so far. As far as side effects go, I've experienced some tiredness, nausea, and some stomach discomfort. Nothing debilitating. I'm going through a weight loss center. I go once a week for counseling and injections. I started out at 0.25 injection the first 30 days and am now up to 0.5 injections once a week."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I have only been on Ozempic for 1 week, but so far it's been good. I do not seem to get as hungry, and after eating, I have a little discomfort in my stomach for 15 to 30 minutes, but then it goes away. I have lost 2 pounds, my sugar seems to be responding better and coming down when I check it, and I do not have that bloated feeling like I normally do. Fingers crossed!"

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "70 pounds down and maintained for over a year now. Wegovy in conjunction with a high-protein, low-carb food plan does it right. I am convinced that the majority of negative outcomes are due to people just shooting the drug and making no changes to their diet. Stay off the sugar, keep your carb intake to vegetables and limited fruits only. Constipation avoided by adding a magnesium citrate supplement. (I use Calm)."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I began on 3 mg and felt a little nauseous, lasting no more than an hour each day. The same with 7 mg, but when taken up to 14 mg, no more nausea and thankfully no other issues. I have noticed a weight loss to currently around a stone within 6 months total."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "The side effects have been mild to moderate, but tolerable. Weight loss has been dramatic, with a reduction in BMI from well over 30 to under 25. After over a year on the drug, I am still at 1 mg. Increases have so far been contraindicated."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Was on Ozempic from April to July 2024 - lost 5 kg; then Ozempic was out of stock and the pharmacy was not very helpful. Started on Wegovy; first 0.25 mg dose yesterday, Jan 29, 2025. So far, side effects - mild headache. Current weight 82 kg... hope for the best."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I have no side effects. Taking it made me realize that I also have to do my part if I want to lose weight and hopefully get rid of Diabetes 2. Recently, 5 coworkers have noticed my 30-pound weight loss, and it makes me so proud of myself! Which, honestly, I haven't felt in a long time. My husband transitioned to Heaven years ago, and my 29-year-old son struggles in life. The chance to get healthy for him, to help him, means the world to me! It's true, though, if you don't take care of yourself, you can't take care of others. I'm feeling like I can continue on my journey losing weight. I still have 40 more pounds to go. But that number feels more attainable than 70 to 80 before! I couldn't have done it, though, without my first step, which was Ozempic! Thank you, Ozempic, for my second chance at life!"

Semaglutide "I am a 58-year-old female. I lost 70 pounds with Ozempic. I am so, so thankful. Last Friday, my new nurse practitioner changed my medicine to Zepbound. Let me tell you, I craved sweets and was hungry. I cried. This Zepbound, to me, was a joke. I'm calling first thing Monday, I want back on Ozempic. I know there's a lot of bad things being said about this drug. I don't understand, but it's not for everyone, and I hope they're not over-taking it to try to lose more weight. I know I've been overweight my whole life, and I've been guilty of taking a diet pill when I was younger, taking one more than I should. I'm not saying this is what is happening to everyone, but it's possible they're not waiting for the right time to take the right dose. I can't complain, it's been a godsend to me. I hope and pray they don't take it off the market. There are people like me that have changed my life for the better."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Rybelsus has worked wonders for me. I started with the 3 mg for 1st month, then 7 mg for 3 mos. Still on my 3rd bottle, almost done. I'm 50 yrs old and weighed 271 lbs and now am at 249 lbs and lost 22 lbs; my A1C went from 8.4 to 5.3. I'm completely satisfied with my results. It really does suppress your appetite. I've had a few bouts of constipation, diarrhea, and nausea when I 1st started it. It wasn't right away either. However, there are no more side effects. I'm good over here!! Make sure you use the discount from the manufacturer online. $10/mo"
