For Type 2 Diabetes "So far, so good. The first time (and only time so far) I took Wegovy, it did make me nauseous and tired for a full day. I hope this doesn't happen every time. After a few days, I didn't feel the need to eat as much. Hopefully, it brings my blood sugar down and I lose a few pounds."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It helped reach a reasonable goal of 20-25 pounds in about 5 months. The drawback for me was it made me tired and a little nauseous the few days after the weekly shot. It does suppress your appetite. Alcohol and bad foods will make you feel worse. And you will lose more weight from that. I would do this again. Hopefully won’t need much for maintenance."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I am on the 3rd week of the 1 mg dose. I started with .25 for 4 weeks, then to .50 mg. My A1C is down from 9.9 to 7.8. I am 70 years old with HBP. My appetite has decreased. I started having constipation with 1 mg. I continue to have queasiness and tiredness since taking it. I lost 10 lbs since starting mid-January to mid-May."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy .25 mg on March 5th. On day 1, I felt a little nausea and a little tired. Felt fine the rest of the week, appetite suppressed after a day or so. Continued to follow a healthy diet, exercised at least 5 days a week, and meal portions became smaller. I did not experience any other side effects aside from a little heartburn at night after the 2nd dose. By the 3rd dose, I started feeling somewhat constipated and noticed my watch was notifying me more frequently than usual that my heart rate was over 100 throughout the day and night. I take blood pressure medication, so I decided to call my doctor. She does want me to get blood work done and will be checking my thyroid. Also recommended I stop taking the med. I am a bit worried as I already feel the cravings are coming back. After I complete blood work, I will provide additional feedback regarding recommendations from my PCP. I have lost about 14 lbs., so it does work. I would give it a shot, everyone reacts differently."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy the first week of April 2023. I was hesitant at first because of all the negative reviews, but I finally did it. The first day was good. I injected it in my thigh, which was fine. After a few minutes, I felt a burning sensation in the back of my leg, then it went away. I've done my 3rd injection this week, and the only side effects are being kind of tired. Other than that, I'm fine. My hair has always fallen out because it's hereditary, so the hair fall I have is not due to that. I have way less cravings for junk food and don't feel as hungry. The first week, I lost 7 lbs. Gained 4 back due to eating late at night after work. I usually stop eating at 6 pm. Make sure if you take this to drink lots of water because you will feel thirsty. Other than that, I've overall had a great experience with this. I'm glad my cravings are no longer. I have a long way to go since I'm wanting to lose at least 80 lbs. I have an infant now, so I'm not as active. Good luck to those who want to try."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been on Wegovy for 7 weeks. Lost 14 pounds. 2nd week into 0.50 mg. It’s a little rough on my stomach. Taking prescription for nausea which happens the day of the injection. Feel tired and occasionally get severe abdominal pains. I can’t eat much and have to really watch the types of food. No greasy foods or spicy or heavy. The intestinal pains were very severe after eating wrong foods. I’m happy with the weight loss but the side effects are rough."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I have been on Rybelsus for 11 days now. The first few days were horrible. I had diarrhea and stomach pains, even threw up twice. I am still having side effects on day 11 but not as bad. I’m taking Zofran for the nausea. I have already lost 8 lbs, which I’m sure is not healthy, but I don’t have an appetite on this medication. Before this medication, I would eat all the time, it seemed like I never was full. My sugar levels are as low as they’ve ever been. I am tired and have lower energy. I'm hoping after another week on it the side effects will subside. I have been struggling with weight loss my whole adult life and can never break through the plateau phase. I think this medication will help if I can withstand the side effects."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I was scared after reading some reviews, but wanted to share my experience so far. I began on .25 one week ago - I injected in my abdomen at night before reading about the thigh being better. The next morning, I woke up with pretty bad nausea, but not vomiting - definitely enough though to prevent me from eating. All day I was lethargic and could not eat much. Each day it improved. It definitely does not allow you to eat heavily - eating very small meals is about all it allows and even then it does give you slight nausea initially. Took my 2nd .25 dose this evening and did inject the thigh. Hoping to update this in a few weeks, but it’s been manageable."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Have been on semaglutide for 8 weeks and am presently on a 1 mg dose. First, the positives. I have lost 16 pounds, my intake of Novorapid has decreased significantly, and my blood glucose has dropped from 7.9 to 6.8. Negatives: mild constipation, bloated feeling, slight nausea, reflux acid, lethargy, and wind (burps and farts). I feel the positives outweigh the negatives at the present time, but only time will tell."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I've been taking this for 2.5 months. I've lost a solid 10 pounds. I take it right before bed so I can sleep off the initial side effects, if any. There is a little bit of diarrhea, nothing too crazy. I have major loss of appetite, I can eat half meals or half kids' meals and I'm always full after a few bites. Sugars are low. The major side effect is nausea, but it isn't every day. I've thrown up 3 times within the past 3 months, which is something I never did prior. It comes out of nowhere, and honestly, I'm unsure if it is this injectable or just from taking an iron supplement and vitamin. Could be the vitamin. I feel tired also, not sure if it's just work or a side effect. Overall, I'm happy with the injectable, plus it beats taking a pill every day."

Semaglutide "Yes, I've lost weight, 4-5 pounds in 4 weeks, and this was a goal. However, I don't feel like myself physically, I'm tired and feel weak. I can't really explain the feeling. Maybe a little light-headed, but I make sure to drink water and eat small portions."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Ozempic is definitely helpful in lowering my A1C, and for that, I am very grateful. I have struggled with type 2 diabetes for over thirty years. However, I am enduring dizziness, mild nausea, tiredness, and a general feeling of being unwell. In the days of my elevated sugar count, I actually felt well, without any of these symptoms. I am experimenting with the dosage of Ozempic and intend to cut back to the 0.5 mg dose next week. I just can't handle the 1 mg."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Ozempic for six weeks. This will be my second week at 0.50 mg, and I have lost 10 lbs. At 0.25 mg, I had minor nausea and was very tired but felt fine otherwise. After my first 0.50 mg injections, I could not drink, eat, or do anything for the first day. I had a lot of nausea and felt like I was going to be sick constantly. By day 3, I had to go to the bathroom about nine times, which was good because constipation is a real thing with this medication. By day 4 and on, I felt perfectly fine. I do watch what I eat, and the medication has cut my food intake by half. You have to pay attention to what your stomach is telling you."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I’ve been taking Ozempic for a few weeks now after taking Byetta and not liking it. I also take Lantus, Humulin, Metformin, and Phentermine. I also take 2 blood pressure meds, cholesterol, nerve, and anxiety meds. I’ve had PCOS since 2000, had gestational diabetes with my youngest in 2008, and was officially diagnosed as diabetic in 2015. Last year, I had the scare of my life and went into ketoacidosis and was in ICU for a week. I have a new endocrinologist who started me on Ozempic. I started out with an A1C of 11.5 and brought it down to 7.5. I’ve lost 7 lbs so far. I have blurred vision, stumble, no appetite, constipation, no energy, insomnia, sick to my stomach, and gross belches. I feel like stuff is lodged and stuck in my chest all the time. I sure hope these side effects don’t last forever because I feel like this medicine is making my blood sugars under control for the first time in my life. I have the Dexcom G6, and it consistently checks my levels and my average is 149."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I started using Ozempic at the beginning of April 2023. It has helped me control my blood sugar levels, I have also lost 16 pounds, but the weight loss seems to have halted. It's now June 2023. For the last two weeks, I have felt tired the day after injecting it, and my blood pressure didn't change on the days I was tired."
