Diclofenac for Osteoarthritis "I've taken Voltaren for over 25 years 3 times a day. For 5 days before each of 4 complete joint replacements, I had to quit taking it since it is a slight blood thinner. Each time I got very stiff with painful joints. I've tried most of the other arthritis NSAIDs, and none work nearly as well. My Dr. runs a liver function test every 6 months."

For Osteoarthritis "Have end-stage knee arthritis and am scheduled for TKR in 8 weeks. I was getting along fairly well, working 12-hour shifts in ICU, until about 3 weeks ago. The pain, stiffness, and muscle spasms in my right leg became unbearable. I could only use the word 'agony' to describe how I felt. I could hardly walk and felt like I was suddenly crippled. The surgeon was only able to move up my surgical date by 10 days. I saw an ortho doc this week for a possible cortisone injection but decided not to go that route because I did not want to risk the chance of a post-op infection. The doc prescribed diclofenac 75 mg twice a day. I am flabbergasted by the results! I have never taken any kind of pain med that actually works like this med. It's amazing!"

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Absolutely changed my life. I got progressively worse until I would become so stiff after sitting for fifteen minutes that I would need help standing. While nobody who sees me walking would mistake me for an Olympic athlete, I can move about freely and almost without pain. The best thing it gave me was uninterrupted sleep. Until I started taking this medication, I could not sleep for more than a few hours without getting up with tears in my eyes from the pain and walking around while chewing aspirin."

Diclofenac for Pain "I have had both knees arthroscopically treated in the last year and a half. I ended up reinjuring one knee, and when this happened, the other knee began to swell and hurt because it is compensating for the injured knee. I found out I have Pesanserine bursitis, which is very painful, especially going up stairs. I was beginning to shuffle from one room to another. I had two Zipsor left from a sample pack I got from the doctor. I tried to hang on to them in case my pain got worse. Since my doctor's office had not received any samples, I asked if they could call in a prescription. I didn't care about the cost. Zipsor has helped the pain and swelling tremendously in my knees. Since I have arthritis in my knees, I know this will be my go-to as needed pain reliever."

For Pain "Oh, this medicine is amazing. I had chest tightness when I would breathe in, I would almost cry from the pain, and it radiated all the way to my back, which was just as bad. I would sleep at night and could barely move certain ways without the pain and almost wanting to cry. I found out I have an enlarged blood vessel in my heart, and that's what the pain was from. Being 23, I shouldn't be having this pain, but after the 2nd day on this, it helped me so much, and I can actually get up and go on with my day with no pain. (Thank goodness)."

For Osteoarthritis "Was prescribed diclofenac gel for osteoarthritis pain and swelling. I used the OTC gel as prescribed for 4 days, by which time the pain was at least 3 times worse and the swelling doubled - my knee looked like a grapefruit. Discontinued use, the swelling subsided and the pain ebbed back to the original level. This cure is much worse than the disease."

For Period Pain "I have fibroids, which causes me to have very painful periods. The first day I took the drug, which is white in color, I felt relieved from pain; the next day, I took the pink tablet of 2 x 100 mg without checking the mg, which was an overdose. The pain has minimized but I'm still feeling the period cramp."

For Osteoarthritis "Excellent results within 24 hours, maybe less. Terrible knee pain, limping, no flexibility. Now, not quite ready for a 10K race, but happy to be where I am and very pleased with the results."

For Osteoarthritis "The diclofenac is a miracle drug for arthritis, but with all the side effects and my age of 66, I am afraid to take it 2x a day every day. So I only take it like every 3 or 4 days and take aspirin and Tylenol on the days off. I also am on narcotic pain meds that do absolutely nothing. I get a steroid shot every 3 months, I wish it was every 2 months because that's only how long the shots last. I hurt everywhere, every joint and under all my skin with inflammation. I can barely walk or get up from sitting or laying and have not been shopping or to church in years. The relief I get from diclofenac lets me get around my house and clean up and cook."
