For Osteoarthritis "Diclofenac really helped with my arthritic hip pain and heel spur pain the first two weeks, but I had to stop taking it because it caused dizziness, nausea, nightmares, insomnia, irritability, headaches, pressure in ears, muscle weakness, fatigue, decreased urine output, worse joint pains when worn off, liver pain."

Diclofenac for Ankylosing Spondylitis "The first couple of days, this did nothing for me, but by the third day, I really noticed less pain and stiffness. However, I had to stop taking it when I started having severe stomach aches, headaches, and blood pressure spiking up within an hour of taking it."

For Pain "I had ongoing pain a month after an amputation, so I was prescribed this diclofenac. Nothing OTC was enough to help the pain. This stuff is horrible! First, I had a horrible headache the day after starting it. The next day the muscles in my back were so bad I could barely lean forward to change my baby's diaper. It's ridiculous when you take something for pain and then it causes more pain. There has to be something stronger that isn't a nightmarish joke like this. I'll take the amputation pain. It's sad people are left to deal with horrible pain vs. pain that's horrible. Now I need something for depression."

For Migraine "This is amazing, diclofenac really is. Got it from my doctor. Have a muscle disease that affects my back as well. Always seem to be hurting somewhere all the time, as well as really bad headaches. Couldn't take the pain anymore, tried it. It was wonderful-so fast, 30 to 45 minutes. I was so grateful I cried out of relief. Finally took care of all of it...you've got to try it. Thanks so much for this medicine."

For Osteoarthritis "Doctor prescribed diclofenac (75 X 2/day) three weeks ago for severe arthritis in my big toes. I'm 60 years old and still work, mostly on my feet all day. Pain and swelling have been reduced, but not totally gone. I'd have to say I'm happy with the result, as it has enabled me to keep working, but side effects are troublesome: I get headaches close to migraine level, my vision is so blurred sometimes, I'm VERY groggy in the morning and have a hard time getting out of bed, and the ringing in my ears has gotten worse. So I can only give it a 7 out of 10."

For Pain "Used this for years for my spinal condition and eventually ended up with a hard-to-diagnose heart condition. I'm pretty sure it was brought on by diclofenac. I tried my utmost to keep the number of pills I took to an absolute minimum and did not take these pills that often, only in dire need. They were effective up to a point, although sometimes I had quite painful throbbing in the region of my kidneys. This treatment is a lottery and has the potential to kill some patients with its side effects. Its ingredients are strangely similar to Vioxx, which had a wide world ban for its effects on patients' hearts. To my mind, diclofenac seems like a rebranding of Vioxx, the offending 'ingredient' being oxidase 2, the same as Vioxx. DO NOT TAKE if you have heart problems!"

For Sciatica "Knocked me out, heart was working overtime, increased sweating and vomiting, blurred vision, headache. This medicine does not work for me at all. Stopped taking it two days ago and still have symptoms."

For Muscle Pain "Took 2 diclofenac several hours apart on Thursday and Friday. Friday night, I noticed I had abdominal bloating and right side pain. Felt sick to my stomach to even drink water. Very bad headache as well. Thought maybe it was my appendix or something intestinal. Headache still persisted on Saturday, so I took another one. Literally thought my stomach was going to explode. This is the only new medication I am taking, so I narrowed it down to this being a side effect from the diclofenac. Will not be taking it again."

Diclofenac for Pain "The side effects are brutal. Stomach aches, nausea, bloody stools, headache, diarrhea, increased blood pressure, just to name a few. This medicine did give me some relief from pain at the cost of the side effects. Be careful with this medicine, I won't take this med anymore."
