"I have osteoarthritis and just recently had my left knee replaced. I have been taking diclofenac for 5 years, 75 mg twice daily. I had to go off of it one week prior to surgery as I will need to take warfarin. Once I went off of it, I found I had shoulder pain and both knees. After surgery, I have terrible knee pain in the new knee. I cannot take diclofenac for another 2 weeks. This is an amazing drug. I never had a single side effect from it either. Once it is in your system, it works great. I noticed it working within 1 to 2 weeks!"

Diclofenac "DO NOT USE THIS GEL AND EXPOSE IT TO THE SUN FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD. I have used this for several years for hands and knees as needed. I recently used it on both hands and went golfing (Florida) for about four to five hours. That evening, I had serious itching on the backside of both hands. Then, my ungloved hand swelled up and was very uncomfortable. I tried ice, then cortisone cream, but it was no help. The next day, I took prednisone, and in two days, the symptoms went away. I mentioned this to another golfer who told me he had the same experience on his knee that resulted in skin coming off!"

"From the very first day, I started to take diclofenac, which has relieved my severely arthritic knee pain 100%. I take 1 pill each morning, prior to standing on my feet for 8 hours at work, and it works great the entire time I am at work. My doctor asked me to wean off of it, and I did so, but after a few days, I had to start taking it again because the pain became unbearable as the workday went on. I have no side effects, and it doesn't interfere with my other meds."

"I was in bad pain and could not bend my knee. I took one 50 mg tablet, and about 6 hours later, the pain was subsiding, and I was walking better. The second day, I took another, and there was a great improvement. So far, no side effects. I will stay at 50 mg per day for now."

"Tried everything out there, creams, supplements, etc. Dr. gave me 50 mg diclofenac 2x day, it is a miracle. I do deliveries and walk a lot and was suffering with such pain I would be crying at night. Now one pill when I leave the house and for a good 5-6 hours I'm walking pain-free. Worried about side effects but need to make money. Dr. will not give me more than a month's supply though, that annoyed me."

"Very bad pain and awful stiffness from osteoarthritis. I was prescribed naproxen, which helped with the pain but did nothing for the stiffness. Now using diclofenac 25 mg three times a day, and it helps the pain but is also easing the terrible stiff joints. Slight side effects of mild heartburn, but I can cope with that. Been using tablets for one week so far, and hoping things will improve even more. I think some things work on some people and not on others."

"Great for osteoarthritis, but it has serious possibly life-threatening side effects. Avoid taking it, please. It is so dangerous that it is prescription only in England! What worries me is the copious usage of the OTC gel!"

"I was first given diclofenac in Dubai while returning from Afghanistan, where I had injured my back. It is a very effective medication for nerve pain. It is unfortunate that the medical industry insists on restricting its use to prescription only (in the U.S.). I'm sure it's a big source of low-effort profit for doctors in the U.S., but this kind of gatekeeper shakedown is one reason I never get any medical care in the U.S. unless it's an emergency."

"It has made my life so much better. I've been taking it for many years, no known side-effects. You think it's not helping but go off of it and you realize how painful, miserable your life would be. I am a super active 71-year-old and rely on it -- I take two 50s a day/one morning, one night."
