Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Definitely helps with less appetite! I have lost an average of 2 lbs a week. Side effects are thirst and nausea. I have found that ginger helps with nausea. I recommend patients do what makes them feel best!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took my first injection on Dec 17, 2022, so I'm 4 1/2 weeks in (1 month). I'm on the 2.4 mg injection. Started at 30 units. Lost 9 lbs the first week. Gained weight the following weekend over Christmas, and also a bit over New Year's weekend. As of this morning, I'm down from 238.6 lbs to 218.4 lbs...that's 20 pounds in a month, including the weight I had to lose twice from gaining over the holiday weekends! I take my injections on Saturday. Side effects: nausea on Sunday, very, very light. Enough to notice, but not uncomfortable. Tired on Monday mornings. Take B12 and fine in a couple of hours. A little bit more tired on Tuesday mornings. Again, B12 and fine. Feel good on Wednesdays. Thursday, I have an abundance of energy. Friday afternoons, I can feel the rumblings of hunger, but don't really feel like eating. Saturday, it's time for the injection again, so the rumbling stops. I haven't experienced any other side effects."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "Just took my 2nd dose. When I started last week, I did have some nausea, and I did vomit once, but I had eaten quite a bit at dinner before I took it. I injected in the thigh. After that first night, everything settled down, and I feel great. I have MS, and for some reason, I am seeing quite a change in my symptoms for the better. I have GERD and take 40 mg of omeprazole and 20 mg of Pepcid. These drugs have really helped with nausea. My doctor said this is what he would prescribe to other patients he had put on Ozempic. I am down 5 pounds this week. You don’t get hungry at all, so make sure you have some small meals throughout the day so you get your proper nutrition and vitamins. Just this week alone, I have noticed my cravings have stopped for sweets and junk food."

Semaglutide "I started Ozempic in July 2022. The first six weeks, I stayed at .25 mg, and my side effects were easily managed. I had to start taking omeprazole to manage the increase in acid reflux, and I occasionally would take Zofran for nausea, but those weren't constant and, like I mentioned, easy to manage. This drug took away the ability to overeat, which was huge for me. I tend to binge, and it also eliminated the interest in that. You get hungry still (not as frequently), but you can't eat as much and stay full for longer. So far, I have lost almost 30 lbs. Ozempic isn't a fit for everyone, but it has worked wonders for me. Hoping to get another 20 lbs lost."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy since January 15, 2022. I have lost almost 40 lbs. When I first started, it was the usual nausea and heartburn that could always be fixed with a Pepcid AC. I have noticed now that I am past the 1.0 mg, I have been getting dizzy when I stand up, like I am about to pass out, and having a reoccurring brain/vision fogginess off and on. About 9 months in, I started to have tingling/numbness in my foot, face, and hand. Have any long-term users experienced this? I am going to get off it and see if it clears up."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Started with Rybelsus 3 mg and had mild nausea, then the doctor moved me up to 7 mg after 30 days, and I lost 10 lbs. Still feel nauseated from time to time, definitely a change in my appetite. I walk 2 miles a day and do sit-ups, but don't really have to, the weight comes off with the meds. After reaching out-of-pocket max with Medicare, the medicine cost $230.00 a month. What happened to senior discounts? Where are some coupons? Money vs. health?"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Look, Ozempic is good to get you started on the way to a better life. You cannot expect a drug to change your habits after the drug is taken away. You actually need to stop eating rubbish and exercising. There's no getting around these facts. Does Ozempic or Wegovy stop you from eating? Yep. The idea of food is repulsive. I'm living on bananas. I tried some roast chicken today and wanted to throw up. So use it to shed some weight quickly and then.... Do what you must ultimately do: watch what you eat. Walk daily. Sleep well. Don't stress, and that weight will never ever come back. If you DON'T do this, you have another option: take this drug for the rest of your life and NEVER enjoy food again. You will have a life of feeling sickly. Your choice, dear user."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started with the lowest dose, injected into my glutes by the nurse. I felt a tiny bit of nausea, but that subsided, and I noticed my appetite was way lower that week. I started naturally choosing smaller portions. After two weeks on that dose, I upped it to the next level and still had no nausea. Appetite still down, I’m eating about 1,200 kcal a day with 20 grams or less of net carbs. I do eat a very healthy diet with lots of fiber, and I take magnesium at night, so I have not experienced bowel issues. Maybe because I don’t eat any refined carbs like bread, my digestion is doing better than many reviews on here. I also take liver/gallbladder supplements that have enzymes and ox bile to digest fats. I need to lose 20-25 lbs, so I am hopeful that I’ll continue to have an easy time with it. Glad the urge to snack in the evening is gone!"

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Was placed on this medication to help with PCOS-caused insulin resistance and obesity. The first two months were a bit uncomfortable - I was nauseated a lot and had bouts of constipation and diarrhea. Fortunately, immediately starting it, my sugar cravings disappeared. I think I had a rough couple of months because of my old eating habits since this medicine slows how fast your stomach empties. As I developed better eating habits, this has gone away completely. I’ve been on this for almost a year now and have lost almost 60 lbs. I’m about 5 lbs away from being a normal weight and I’m barely making any effort at this point; the weight is just coming off. I feel the healthiest I’ve felt in over a decade and have been seeing my PCOS symptoms reduce as the weight comes off. This medicine was a miracle for me. I’ve struggled for a decade trying to get my weight under control. Once the insulin resistance was resolved, it literally fell off."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I’m very happy with my weight loss progress on semaglutide! I’m currently using 0.5 mg and have had a bit of nausea in the beginning, but that’s greatly improved. The only other negative side effect I’ve noticed is some constipation, which I manage with sugar-free Citrucel. I’m easily able to extend my daily fasting to 22:2. Cravings are gone, and I definitely don’t eat as much as before (this also changes bowel habits, so less in = less out.) I’m easily losing +8 lbs/month. Grateful as anything to my endocrinologist for helping me with this project. I find it very easy to use. I do log my food, watch my macros, and drink lots of water (100 oz/daily.) I sip all day long, so it’s more of a habit and little effort."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "Please state how much you are on, it is helpful to others. I am on .5. Type 2 diabetic, 25 years. I started on .25 and moved up to .5 after a month. I have lost about 17 lbs thus far and am back into a size 8 (US) dress. I have had a lot of nausea, constipation, and dizziness. They may move me up to a .75 dose, as my sugar is controlled, but not as well as it could be. However, this medication has been life-changing. I have stopped taking all glucose-lowering pills and take no insulin now. I am on Jardiance too, a similar drug. These new meds are fantastic. If you are on the fence, give these a try, they are much more effective than the older drugs, in my opinion."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "So I am in the UK buying this privately. I can tell you this much: if you start on small doses, don't expect to lose that much till you hit 1 mg, etc. I've lost 4 kilos in 6 weeks, no side effects apart from mild nausea and barely eating, which is what we want. Plus, I'm not doing any workouts, just hardly eating, because as soon as I do, I feel full. I'm going to try dieting now and working out, maybe more weight loss can happen faster."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I'm on week 2 of using Ozempic for weight loss. I have suffered very little side effects because I take probiotics and magnesium and a water pill. My 3rd injection will be tomorrow, and it seems that Ozempic is just starting to kick in and work. First week, I never lost my appetite and did not fill up fast. 2nd week, I started to lose my appetite and feel full rather quickly. Also, a couple of side effects popped up in the past 2 days - but they are not bad and don't last: nausea (lasts only a couple of minutes and not that bad), burping (no weird tastes) that makes me feel relieved. I lost 5 pounds since I started this on July 15th. I actually look forward to my 3rd dose tomorrow and increasing after my 4th. Will update as things change."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I always struggled to lose weight in my life due to a big appetite. Now at age 34, after 3 C-sections, I was at the highest point of my weight, 81 kg at 5'3" height. I started Ozempic from 0.25 mg, and now I am in week 7 and taking a 1 mg dose. In 7 weeks, I have lost 15 lbs. I can't be more than happy. I had mild side effects here and there: nausea and diarrhea, but nothing I can't handle. It has cut my appetite by 90%. I will take it until I reach my normal BMI. Totally a game changer and lifesaver. I will keep you posted."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "For years, I have been stuck trying to lose weight. No matter what I tried, from extreme exercise, over-the-counter diet aids, nothing worked. I started semaglutide 5 weeks ago and have already lost 12 pounds! Simply stated, you are just not hungry, and if you eat smaller portions or sensible food, the weight just tumbles off! I am not diabetic and have no other health conditions. I never experienced nausea that others have reported. For me, this is a wonder drug."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I started Rybelsus 3 mg at the beginning of June actually for PCOS. I already take 1500 of Metformin and exercise 5 days a week. At first, I had horrible nausea and diarrhea, but as of the beginning of July, I feel normal. It curbs my cravings and suppresses my appetite. At first, I was barely eating, almost starving, but now I can eat a normal amount. I’ve lost 15 pounds in a month and am very happy with my results so far. Just started the 7 mg today, excited to see how it goes."

Semaglutide for Type 2 Diabetes "I just took my fourth dose of Ozempic - week four at .25. After reading some reviews, I was nervous. I am one who always gets the negative side effects. So far, so good! I have had very minimal side effects. Some nausea, but I have that anyway. I have a very small appetite and don’t crave the junk! I inject in my upper thighs. The injection doesn’t hurt at all. I definitely feel better and my clothes fit better. I don’t like to weigh myself, but my doctor will weigh me in a month! Hoping I’ve lost quite a bit. Worth a try if you struggle with weight loss and eating. You do have to eat small amounts and eat the right food and exercise. I was doing all of that and still gaining, so for me this is a win!"

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "57-year-old on this for 3 1/2 weeks. I'd like to tell you how much I lost (was 4 pounds at 3 weeks), but I am so constipated for 4 days I cannot be sure what my real weight is (it could be 6 pounds now). Get a telemedicine provider to send you a vial of semaglutide (not the pre-loaded syringes) and use an insulin syringe to administer 1/2 the dose on one day with an ODT Zofran, then take the second half of the dose 24 hours later with another ODT Zofran. I administer in my outer thigh, like you would give insulin. The provider will tell you exactly how many 'units' to administer per week, just cut it in half, say Saturday and Sunday. Take a stool softener on Sunday, which I forgot to do this week! I have had zero gastrointestinal issues, no nausea, no vomiting. The Zofran may be causing some of the constipation, and I don't consider this a real issue, just a minor side effect with an easy fix. I am a Nurse Practitioner, so I have been watching everything for real side effects. I'll update."

Semaglutide for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "One word - amazing. I was so skeptical when starting this medication. I thought it would be just like everything I've tried before, but it's not. It works. Two months in and 20 pounds down. It's like magic! I have had some brief periods of nausea, but I drink some ginger ale and it helps a lot. I read that this medication would be a game changer for weight loss, and it has not disappointed."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was originally prescribed Ozempic in the needle form about 4 years ago. This was an experience I will never forget. Although I dropped weight, the nausea was just too much to bear. I was sick every single day for months on end, it just wouldn't give up, so I was taken off it. Fast forward a few years, and all the weight is back. Last week, after an appointment with my doctor, I was asked to try a tablet form, which they said has less severe side effects. Now, 6 days in, and I'm over the moon, I've lost 8 lbs already. My appetite has been curbed to 3 very small meals a day, but I feel full to my stomach. Now, here's where I have to be 100% honest: this medication is not for the light-hearted. The nausea, headaches, and bad stomach are very, very real. The difference between this and the needle is I'm not physically sick but just feel it all day, every day!!! This is only the 3 mg dose, I will be put up to 6 mg next week and 14 mg in 3 weeks' time. I will post my progress. Good luck, everyone."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "A little background: I am 6'2", 24 years old, and the most I ever weighed was 316 lbs. Always used to wear the baggiest clothes and was not confident in myself. The crazy thing is that it was a “trim” 316 lbs (if that makes sense), like, I play hockey and get around just fine - I was just overweight. In college, I managed to get down to 280 from being poor and walking everywhere. But now I am in the real world working, and about 4 months ago, when I began Ozempic, I was back up to 310 lbs. My mom started it, she liked it, she was down about 10 lbs and told me I should try it. I started at .25 for about 6 weeks. I had not lost much weight in the beginning and had some nausea and pretty decent headaches, but that goes away after about a week or so. I am now taking the 1.7 Wegovy, and I am now down to 265. I feel great, look great, and I look forward to taking the 2.4."

Semaglutide for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction "I have been prescribed Ozempic off-label in the UK for the last 5 months for weight loss purposes. At the beginning, the side effects were quite bad, but my prescriber gave me anti-nausea, acid reflux, and constipation relief with every prescription, which helped immensely. I no longer need to use any of these meds, as the side effects have gone, aside from occasional acid reflux. The side effects started to ease around week 8 for me, so consistency and perseverance are key. I have gradually titrated up to 2mg once a week, which is amazing for me. I can't eat as much as I used to, and I'm not tempted to binge as much. I have lost just over 2 stone. This is a MIRACLE DRUG for me, as no matter how much effort I put into exercising, I couldn't lose the weight. It's cheaper here in the UK to buy than it is in the US, but it's still costly to pay for monthly. For me, the cost is nothing compared to the sense of my physical appearance and feelings. I feel so much healthier and look so much healthier."
