For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had my first YI ever and was told by someone to use Monistat 3. Seemed to help a lot the first 2 days, but the 3rd day I was in misery. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is honestly the worst thing I've ever been through. I have never experienced such pain. I feel like I'm being stabbed in the vagina with a red-hot knife. I will never, ever use this medicine again. I feel like I am minutes away from going to the emergency room. I tried washing the medicine out with cold water (didn't help). I tried wiping it with the cooling wipes (didn't help). I tried putting more itch cream on (didn't help). And now I have an ice pack on my vagina, and it feels a little better, but still I can't stop squirming and clenching. WORST MEDICINE EVER!!! Do not try this, it is serious torture."

It really scared me. I thought something was seriously wrong with me. I had to run a shower head up my vag for relief. Why does it hurt so much? For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm currently on day 3 of the 7-day, and I feel the worst pain coming from my vagina. I was recommended this product by a nurse, and I want to scream at them for even suggesting this was a good idea. Although my initial irritation from the yeast infection has minimized, the pain that this product causes is far worse. I'm praying that I feel some relief in the morning because I cried as if my vagina was being ripped apart by the dogs just now. I'm sitting here, and it's still burning to the point I have to keep my legs open for some type of relief. My eyes are still watering, and I'm contemplating taking a baby wipe and getting this stuff off me just so I can put some coconut oil down there instead. Seriously, none of these reviews are joking at the intense amount of pain this product produces. Why is it that we are forced to endure this?! I bet you a man created this product because I damn sure don't believe any woman did. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have used Monistat for all of my adult life. Never, and I mean, NEVER has it done this to me before. My hoohaw is so swollen it feels like I've had sexual encounters with a horse...(not something I'm into, by the way). I've been on antibiotics for another illness, and of course that messes with the lady bits. So, because I've used this many times before, I bought it with confidence. I'm used to discomfort, I'm used to slight burning. This is like rubbing menthol on an open wound. A million tiny cuts and swelling. So now I wince in pain every time I move. My fiancé is certain my other illness is not getting better and doesn't quite understand that it actually is, but now I have an inferno between my legs and I don't mean the sexy, alluring kind. Word of advice...get an RX for antibiotics? Go ahead and ask for Diflucan. Whatever you do, don't put this stuff in your cart, let alone anywhere on your body."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, I feel stupid after reading these reviews while my coochy is burning and in flames of hell. I have had an infection all week and in pain, couldn’t even use underwear or clothes, just literally started being half-naked all around my home because I couldn’t hold the pain. So, I got my husband to buy me something, picked Monistat since it said 1 day, because I needed the pain to go. Little did I know this would burn so bad. I feel like my coochy is broken, been with excruciating pain for a half hour, immediately ran to Google to search reviews, and everyone has felt the same. I want to cry, roll over in a fetal position, and yell so bad. I have to work tomorrow, and it’s almost 4 a.m., literally cannot sleep and won’t sleep. Do not buy this. Should have gone to the ER as I said I would this morning. Need this pain to go."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is my second time using Monistat, and this experience has been a nightmare. Maybe 4-5 to five hours after insertion of the cream, I experienced burning and itching to the point where I want to cry and rip all of it out of my body. The pain only occurred when the cream started to drain itself out of my vagina. I guess it’s its way of killing all of the bad yeast. In the future, I will not be using Monistat due to the extreme pain. It feels a million times worse than the yeast infection itself."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am in my 60s and have not had a yeast infection in years. Bought the 1-day egg with wipes and external cream. I followed the directions as given. I have never had so much burning and pain in my life. I did not get any relief at all. I thought that a couple of days later, I would try the external cream, which I thought might be better. It burned me also. Still, almost 20 hours later, I have a strong burning sensation, and I even washed it off in the shower. Crazy stuff. Not going near wipes. I will never use it again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, so this is my first time ever having a yeast infection. I got one after taking antibiotics for a UTI, so now I have symptoms for both infections: straight pain. I inserted the Monistat cream, and not even two minutes later, I collapsed from the pain. It burns so, so bad, it itches so, so bad. It feels like I've been stung by 10,000 fire ants, then poured lemon juice on it, then shoved a ghost pepper up there. This is my second night using it. I nearly broke my boyfriend's hand squeezing it, trying to relieve the pain. I started crying and screaming because it hurts so bad. It did make me feel better in the morning, but I may just go to my doctor to get the pill. I would recommend this if you really cannot afford to go to your doctor, but you will be in horrible, agonizing pain for 2-3 hours."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had one YI in my life, and last night I picked up the 1-day treatment. I have been up for 2 hours, squirming with pain. I really hope this is working because I feel a bit better now, but I am still dealing with an insane amount of discomfort. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Listen to the reviews. I have never heard of bad reactions to this. It was my first time trying it. I was at work, and the burning and pain that came on within 2 minutes was, as another woman online described, like getting stung on and in your vagina by a nest full of wasps. I started getting dizzy and sweaty from the pain and could barely walk. I hobbled back to the bathroom with wet towels to try to clean myself of this "medicine." This is horrifying that this company can stay in business when it causes this type of reaction. I threw the rest out. The yeast infection felt 100 times better than this treatment. RUN."

The burning sensation was so bad I was bawling my eyes out, and I had to use a warm washcloth to wipe it off. I do not recommend. Unless you want to sit through over an hour of excruciating pain."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you're reading this, it's probably already too late for you. This isn't my first rodeo with a YI, but I'm in college and had to order something from Amazon. Really wish I hadn't. I will never use this nightmare cream ever again in my life. My hoohah feels like someone dumped crushed ghost pepper flakes, lime juice, Frank's Red Hot, and bed bugs into it. It feels worse than dragging my bits across Hell's fiery pits. Like sandpaper was rolled up blunt style and shoved inside me. I have been writhing around like a fish out of water for the last hour debating whether or not to run a bath and pray. It's like someone dumped battery acid and lava down my crack. Literally wouldn't wish this pain on anyone, including my worst enemies. I don't know how this is still up for sale and how no one has sued them. My YI wasn't that bad before treatment, and I'm sure in the morning I'll be good to go, but gods. One tube of this and my vag starts calling me slur."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I begged my husband to go buy Monistat 7-day because I couldn't take the YI anymore. As soon as he got home, I ran to the bathroom to use it and felt immediate relief. Then my lady bits started to get warm and have now progressed into literal lava fire in my vag. I’m currently sitting on an ice pack, praying I don’t melt the couch. I will work up the courage to stand up and get pain meds. 100/10 would never recommend unless you want to have your YI burned out of you instead of treated. I pray for all the women who buy this before reading the reviews or seeing their doctor. No way this should be legal. This product makes the idea of wiping with sandpaper pleasant. I don’t think I’ve ever regretted anything so much in my life, I’m currently contemplating an ER visit."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Many years ago, I got a YI from using antibiotics. Used Monistat 7, and it cleared it up just fine. Same scenario about 3 weeks ago. Used Monistat 7 and applied some cream to labia minora as there was itching. The YI is gone, but I'm still suffering from the chemical burns it left behind. They started as small blisters, and the blisters are now covering half my hooha and are painful. STI panel negative, FWIW. I will never use this product again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Holy Moly! I used Monistat 1 day because I figured instant gratification was good. BAM! About an hour after inserting that little egg, I felt it pop, and a zillion fire ants began to bite. My butt puckered, and my head flew off the pillow as the alarms rang! I keep trying to imagine all those fire ants eating the infection. Is it bleach? Acid? A mix of them both? I can’t imagine what I just tortured myself with, but I’ll never do it again! I’m grateful for your comments. There are some great writers here. Seriously, this seems like it should be illegal. It’s so painful my ears are ringing."

The medicine that starts with an “M” (miconazole, I think) is horrible, and I’m in so much pain any time I use it! Just go to the dr and get treated. I never want to experience this pain again. I tried washing it out, but it didn’t all come out."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The first time I had a YI, I used a Walmart brand 3-day. I had no pain, no issues. This time I tried Monistat 1-day… never again. I told my boyfriend it felt like there were drops of sun in this. It has to have something to do with lava, fire, and fire ants, I think. I put it in around midnight and woke up at 5 a.m. in INCREDIBLE amounts of pain, itching, and discomfort. It’s almost 7, and the pain is finally slowing. It now only feels like subtle icy hot has been used on my hooha."
