For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG! I have come to read the comments after the fact. My vaginal area was on fire, and I was screaming “ooooooo” and “ahhhhh” all over the house while everyone kept asking what was wrong! Lol, it’s honestly funny now because the comments are so hilarious. I’m laying in bed laughing with tears coming down my eyes because it is so relatable. Several minutes after I inserted it into my vagina, I felt an instant EXTREME BURNING! I couldn’t stay still, it felt like it was never going to end, but it lasted about 25 minutes. As the time went by, it gradually eased, and my vagina began to cool down! But the pain that I was feeling with the yeast infection was unbearable also, so I hope it will go away, and the pain is worth it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is bad. I felt relief for about an hour after inserting this awful egg, the second I went to pee, my vagina lit on fire. I couldn’t walk straight, and every breath was a new intense itch. I can’t afford this pain and discomfort because I have a big day tomorrow, so ladies, pray for me and stay away from this. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've tried Monistat 3 and 7 in the past and felt instant relief, so I figured I’d be okay trying Monistat 1. It's been like 5-6 hours since inserting the egg, and the pain is finally starting to fade, but my coochie still burns. BTW, I'm up at 4 am from the pain! I really hope my pain and itchiness disappear completely by the time I wake up, as it did for a few of the women in the reviews. My birthday's in a day, so I really want my YI to get better :("

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I would have read the reviews or asked the pharmacist before purchasing this item. I have what I would think is a mild YI. I thought the 1-day treatment would be less medication, but I was wrong. This is so concentrated and I am in so much pain. It’s 3 a.m., and I finally got up to scoop and rinse out the remains of the darn thing. I am covered in baby cream and lavender with ice cubes between my legs. This is worse than childbirth!! Go with the 5 or 7-day treatment!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have never had a Y infection as bad as this before. I was using coconut oil for a few days, and I noticed at night I felt worse. But definitely okay during the day. Maybe it was doing its job. After two days, my mom suggested this and said it’ll work ASAP. I inserted and applied topically before bed and cried. Just cried, I was in so much pain. The pain and itching have been intolerable. My husband had no idea what to do for me. I’ve been up all night tossing and turning, filled with anxiety about the side effects. It’s now 4 am, and I tried to clean it out and put coconut oil over it. I will never use this product again or recommend it. I feel worse, and now it’s so irritated down there... it’ll take longer now to heal."

Have had a couple of yeast infections in the past, I've used Monistat before... BUT this time, after using a pre-filled 1-day treatment at night, I woke up to excruciating pain, itching, burning, and WORST of all, vaginal swelling. The swelling was so bad I could barely walk! So, after doing my research and reading about horrible experiences other women had, I've contacted customer service... And was given a lame 'I'm sorry, would you like a coupon?' Are you kidding me? For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’ve had a yeast infection before and used Monistat 3 and had no negative symptoms. However, I figured I’d use Monistat 1 because it would work faster (at least I thought). The Thursday night I inserted the medication, I felt tingling and itching immediately. I figured it was just the medicine doing its job. All night I tossed and turned from being so uncomfortable. The next morning, I woke up in excruciating pain and discomfort. I felt like I inserted icy-hot into my vagina. It was difficult to even walk. I was hoping this torture would only last one day, but the itchiness and burning lasted around 4 days for me. Every day of showering, I’d attempt to wash out as much of the medication as I was able to without hurting myself more. And yes, just touching the skin was painful, I had almost thought I had a chemical burn. Please DO NOT buy Monistat 1!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After using this product, I decided it’s time for me to get saved because this has got to be what hell feels like. I am in SOOO MUCH PAIN. So much pain. It literally feels like someone took a blowtorch and set it off in my coochie. I have only had it in for about 3 hours. The first hour… fine. The second, OMG. It burns soooo bad. So bad. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DON'T BUY IT! I bought this to give my YI one last push. I wasn't in any pain before but still had some symptoms. Bought the cute egg thing thinking the next day I'd be back to normal. Inserted around midnight, 7 am went to pee... fire, fire, fire!!!! What!! Started putting the external cream on, burned even more!! This stuff is awful, and I'm only on day 1... I wish I'd have read these reviews first! Don't do it to yourself. I was actually at the tail end of this and stupidly thought I was helping myself clear it faster. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Holy guacamole! I should have done more research! I have had a terrible YI for a few days now. I needed relief from the horrible itching. I was on strong antibiotics for my kidneys, and this happens every time! So I looked and purchased from Walmart. Did it before I put my kids to bed, but after I showered. The cream for the external area is phenomenal! The little pearl thing that goes inside was good for about an hour and a half, then I had to pee. Then BAM! I’m talking about out-of-this-world pain and burning! I took to Google and read these reviews... THANK God for the shower review! Ladies, GET IN THE SHOWER! For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have used this twice, and the first time I used it my yeast infection was TERRIBLY painful and the day of my HS graduation. Don’t apply this during the day without the backup of a pad to catch the discharge the medicine will have. It says “less mess” but I beg to differ. The yeast infection was so bad that it didn’t feel too much better for a few days, but it says that’s possible on the package. The second time I’ve used it (currently) I had a mild one and wanted to treat it quickly. I applied the ovule and felt instant relief from pain and itching. Hopefully this passes soon, and the cream doesn’t burn me, but it doesn’t work to relieve my itching either."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Yes, this stuff burns and itches like anything, but when you think about it, do you have the choice of keeping the infection or just go through that burning and itching spell for 10 minutes. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Monistat 1 needs to be taken off the shelves immediately. The medicine does not treat yeast infections. The medicine makes your symptoms 100x worse than a slight itch. Why is this product still on the market when it causes severe itching and pain? What can I do to relieve this agony that Monistat caused? I want my money back. For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I bought the generic brand this morning close to noon because it’s way cheaper and they’re the same thing. I took it right after, and man, about 4 or 5 hours later, the itching was HORRIBLE. I got a wet towel and held it there. The itching is insane, I'm throbbing down there, it hurts, and it’s very irritated. It’s worse than when I started. It’s been 12 hours, and I feel the same-no relief. We shouldn’t have to take something like this. I came here to see if I was the only one, and looks like I’m not. We should be able to get Diflucan OTC instead of this."
