For Inflammatory Conditions "A little over a year ago, I started having extreme tightness and stiffness down the backs of my legs. Because I was an active runner, I assumed it was a running injury. Naproxen and muscle relaxants did not help. Saw a sports doctor who thought it was a sacroiliac joint problem. Prescribed physio. Did it for six months. Pain and stiffness spread. Had X-rays and an MRI. Showed some osteoarthritis in the spine and mild to moderate bulging discs. Doctor thought it could be fibromyalgia. Referred to a rheumatologist. Bloodwork showed low normal B12 (136). Was prescribed weekly B12 shots and meloxicam. Started working quickly. By the second day, the stiffness was gone. Pain was greatly reduced. Comes back if I don't take it for two days. No side effects."

Meloxicam for Osteoarthritis "I have had knee pain for many years, and after 2 operations, it got worse. Sleeping was a problem with severe sharp pain. A new doctor recommended to me, found I had severe arthritis after an MRI and put me on Mobic and wow! Why had no doctor ever prescribed this before? Pain relief within the week was amazing, and my sore back improved also. I have a new life and no side effects to date, and I have been taking it for 10 months. I'm 50 and feeling 40 again instead of 70."

Meloxicam for Osteoarthritis "I was also taking Vioxx, then was switched to Celebrex, which did not work for me. One Mobic provides me the relief I need on most days. Biggest side effect is constipation, but flaxseed oil plus stool softeners help with this. I have been taking Mobic for 8 years."

Meloxicam for Tendonitis "I have had knee problems for the last 10 years of my life, and I've tried so many types of physical therapy and medications throughout those years. Nothing has worked better than Mobic. I can't take a lot of medicines like ibuprofen because I have severe stomach issues, and Mobic is great on my tummy. Thanks for giving me my life back."

Meloxicam for Osteoarthritis "Started taking this medication about two weeks ago. I gained weight and swelling in hand, legs, feet, and ankles. Belly swollen too. I am stopping this medication immediately before something more serious happens. This happened before while on this medication."

Meloxicam for Osteoarthritis "Taking Mobic 7.5 mg once a day for OA. It is really helping the inflammation and pain. I had to take a Medrol dose pack first for the flare, and it worked amazingly! Now on Mobic. It’s controlling my OA so far."

For Inflammatory Conditions "In December of 2010, My husband and I had a bad car wreck. I was broken up several times inside. About a year ago I started getting severe pain in my legs and joints. My back has always bothered me, but every day my pain was worse. I got to the point I could not hardly stand without leaning on something for help or someone helping me. I am only 43 years old and I felt something was so wrong with me that it could kill me, because the pain was so bad. I felt a difference the first morning but the pain in my legs was getting worse. The next few nights the pain in my legs continued and also kept me up at night. I kept taking the med..and I am now 90% pain free!"

For Osteoarthritis "Taking Meloxicam (4 weeks now) for severe pain with hip arthritis. I had lost 65 pounds of fat by hiking 15 miles a week on steep trails at age 65-70. Then, I got osteoarthritis. My hip pain became intolerable, and I could not sleep for 2 weeks. After 15 days with 7.5 mg Meloxicam, the pain improved about 80% and I could sleep through the night. However, after 4 weeks, my blood pressure rose from about 130/90 to 150/120. I’m reporting this to my doctor."

Meloxicam for Fibromyalgia "This is amazing. I have suffered constant and varying levels of pain for over half my life (20 years). I have just started taking Mobic a week ago and am basically pain-free. I can exercise for much longer periods with more intensity and do not suffer any pain."

For Osteoarthritis "I started meloxicam on January 7, 2020. I felt relief really quickly, I can't remember if it was minutes to hours, but I didn't realize my hip and knee were feeling better. I don't take it daily, I've only taken six pills since January. I have no side effects, it works for me. I'm still taking the medication when required."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I've suffered from constant, often extreme lower back pain, which I recently found out is due to severe scoliosis, degenerating discs, and arthritis. I used to look like Fred Sanford when I first got up in the mornings, and the pain was always intense. I've been on this (plus the muscle relaxant I was already taking) for less than a month, and it's been life-changing for me. The difference is amazing, and I now have almost no pain for the first time in 12 years."

Meloxicam for Osteoarthritis "Was prescribed 15mg once a day. It helped to reduce pain a bit so now I can walk but still can't walk for a prolonged time (i.e. 15 mins or so). Unfortunately after 8 days of having it, my stomach can't tolerate it anymore..."

For Pain "I have been taking meloxicam for about 2 weeks now for a torn shoulder muscle (labrum). The 15 mg I am prescribed is absolutely useless. I'm gonna try doubling and pray that it helps. This opioid crisis is scaring doctors from prescribing a true pain reliever. Last 30 years, doctors prescribing left and right, and now when it is really needed, they are scared. I'm very upset."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I love meloxicam! For years I have suffered from ovarian cysts that tend to rupture and be very painful. Not to mention that I have unusually painful menstrual cramps. I went to a pain management doctor FINALLY after years of suffering, and he prescribed me tramadol and meloxicam, and the combination has changed my life completely! I highly recommend it for anyone who has extreme pain and bad inflammation."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "Oh my God, meloxicam is a miracle drug for me! Let me tell you that I’m 48, and my legs and knee were hurting so bad that I could hardly function. I could barely go up the stairs in my home. My back was killing me too, but it was my legs! My God! I thought I was doomed to live this way forever until I die. Until I went to my doctor and told her my legs were hurting so bad I couldn’t deal with it anymore! She prescribed me meloxicam 7.5 mg. I got it filled, thinking, 'Okay, I’ll try,' but didn’t have any faith that it would work. Let me just tell you, within 2 days of taking it in the morning with my coffee, the pain is completely gone! My legs do not hurt anymore. Remember to take it with food to protect your stomach and drink lots of water while on this medicine. It will work."

Meloxicam for Osteoarthritis "Pain in neck, shoulders, hips, hands, and knees gone within a day! I can ride in a car, and I'm sleeping without waking every hour. It's been a miracle for me. No side effects. I'm terrified I may have to give this up due to stomach issues. I can't go back to the pain. I feel fabulous after years of misery."

For Osteoarthritis "Miracle. Like others, was first prescribed for foot neuroma but it took away 90% of all other arthritis pain which for me is concentrated in knees, hands, and feet. Went off it for just two days to take regular iburprofen for something else and it was staggering how quickly and how severe the returning arthritis pain got. I hope I can take this until a cure is found. I detect no side effects. Try it!"

For Fibromyalgia "I was prescribed Cymbalta for fibromyalgia and it was ineffective and expensive. A friend told me about Meloxicam and now I'm virtually pain-free. I only take it 3 days a week, the night before I go on a morning run. It started working within 2 days. Recently I didn't renew my prescription and the medicine's effect took about a month to wear off."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I was prescribed 15 mg meloxicam for what was initially thought to be a herniated disc but later confirmed to be S1 joint dysfunction. I was unable to sit comfortably and was in significant pain until this was prescribed. Within one day, I had almost complete relief. I did not experience any side effects. I took it every morning with food. Due to long-term effects, I now only take it when really in need. Within one day of stopping, my pain did return but was more manageable. Nonetheless, the quick response to this makes this A+ for me!"

For Fibromyalgia "I have had fibromyalgia for about four years now. The pain was so bad I couldn't even roll over in bed without hurting or tie my shoes without excruciating pain. I tried Neurontin, Lyrica, and Naproxen, none of which really helped. I was on Cymbalta for a while, and it did help with the aches and pains but gave me such bad diarrhea that I couldn't take it. I have been taking meloxicam now for about a month and cannot believe the difference. I used to not be able to walk a block without having to get someone to take me home. Now I can walk several blocks without the pain. This is a miracle for me, and there are side effects to every medication. The pain being gone is worth it to me."

For Inflammatory Conditions "My daughter, after taking Meloxicam 15 mg for 30 days for a nerve in her foot, started experiencing severe abdominal pain. She developed an ovarian cyst on her right side. She had to have emergency surgery due to it flipping her ovary. Her infection was so bad she almost died. They had to remove her ovary, and she was only 17 years old! My niece just finished the same dosage for a nerve in her shoulder. Since then, she has been experiencing abdominal pain. I went to the doctor today and did a scan that showed an ovarian cyst on her left ovary!! Women should not take this medicine!! This needs to be reported."

For Osteoarthritis "I suffer from intermittent pain in the left knee, right hip, and upper right leg. To compound my problems, I work in facility maintenance and therefore spend most of the day on my feet. The best way I can describe my experience with meloxicam is this: At the end of the day, you know your pain is there, but somehow your brain is masked from the pain. You know you want to limp, but you actually feel no reason to. You expect the affected area to be swollen, feverish, and tight, but you still have flexibility and no major discomfort. For me, applying a cold compress for a few minutes works wonders for the rest of the evening. Also, take the medication at the same time daily."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I first took 15 mg of meloxicam. It is far too strong, I got very sick, with a fever and stomach pain. I tried it again a month later but at the 7.5 mg dose-bingo! I always take it in the morning, as it gives me insomnia if taken at night, and I never take it on an empty stomach. The fuller your gut, the better it works for me, usually within 2-4 hours. I take it shortly after eating a hearty breakfast. I am lucky that I do not need to take it daily-1-2 times a week, if that. Also, I avoid alcohol 24 hours before or after taking it. My osteo stiffness in my right knee is now gone. My T-12 compression issues are relieved. I can now sit for hours and have resumed jogging again. This stuff works well for me. Do use it with caution, though."

Meloxicam for Rheumatoid Arthritis "Mobic has been a good drug for all the basic inconveniences of arthritis. I was this close to going in for a knee replacement when my Geriatric Specialist offered Mobic. I take Pepcid with it as it is very hard on the stomach, but it has increased my mobility and reduced the pain by 90%. I am very pleased with this drug. Hooray!"

Meloxicam for Inflammatory Conditions "I have been taking Mobic for over a year with no side effects other than an elevated blood pressure. I had severe knee and ankle pain which completely went away after taking Mobic. I attempted to stop the medication, however, pain returned after a few days."
