For Osteoarthritis "Refilled my prescription two weeks ago after not taking the medication for a few months. It definitely helps with arthritis and back pain, but this time I've gained 6 lbs instantly. Didn't change anything in my diet and increased my exercise. Stomach bloating is terrible. Be cautious when taking this medicine. Will be using this sparingly and only if needed."

For Osteoarthritis "I've been on it for three days for pain and inflammation due to osteoarthritis. The side effects are bad, and I cannot wait for it to be out of my system. I have experienced a severe headache, dizziness, back pain, bloating, anxiety, and insomnia."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I'm a 43-year-old female and was taken this for headaches due to post-concussion syndrome from a car accident 4 months ago. I only took this meloxicam for 4 days. So many side effects. Then I noticed yesterday all my body hair was gone. Not waiting for my hair on my head to start falling out! I also had rashes, skin tingling, bloating, not being able to empty my bladder, and many more. Whatever benefit I got is not worth it. I read in some of the other posts of people losing their hair, and they have stayed on it! Why? Losing hair is under rare side effects. Doesn't look like from all the posts! I'm going to go with what I wanted in the first place, CBD oil."

For Inflammatory Conditions "Just wanted to say this medication helped my lower back pain immensely. My lower back had been sending nerve pain down both my legs - the pain has been horrible. Meloxicam totally works. But... I'm not giving it a higher score because it made me cough due to side effects after taking it 3 days straight (7.5 mg once a day). I seriously thought I had the flu at first and was going to throw up. Then I felt a twisting knife-like pain in my stomach. Eventually, I drank some Kefir and ate a cracker and felt 80% better. But it really did a number on my stomach. I will only take it now when desperate for pain relief. Also, it caused me severe stomach bloating."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I started taking this medicine a week ago and did see a slight positive change with my joint pain. Still had pain in my wrists. Have had stomach pains, and what I thought was just MAJOR bloating was actually me gaining 10 pounds in 7 days. It was hard for me to squeeze into my jeans this morning, so I knew something was up! Will definitely stop taking this pill! Not worth gaining 10 pounds per week."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I have degenerative disk disease and fibromyalgia. I took 15 mg daily for 7 months. Woke up with bad stomach pains and bloating. Now I can't take any anti-inflammatory medicines. This could have caused peritonitis (burst intestines)! Beware!"

For Osteoarthritis "Put me through more pain than I was in. Sweating, my stomach got tore up, heartburn, and I ate a full meal, feel nauseated, bloated. I didn't realize it, but this is the second time I've been prescribed this drug by a different doctor, and I won't forget next time. The side effects from this drug are insane, and I can't believe they feed this crap to people. They use this stuff on dogs, why are they using it on people? They should stop giving this to animals, in my opinion, if it causes this much pain."

Meloxicam for Osteoarthritis "I have been taking Mobic for a week, and I really can't feel the difference, but I hope it works. Once this week, I felt really good, but other than that, I still feel the same. I do feel bloated a lot though."

For Osteoarthritis "72-year-old healthy female with minor arthritis in my neck. I have been on one meloxicam daily dose of 7.5 mg for 3 weeks. I just stopped taking it because of experiencing about 6 side effects. Thankfully, my neck pain is not extreme. If it were, I may have continued taking it. Side effects, which worsened in week two to week three: weight gain - this was during the Christmas holiday, so I may have actually put on about 2 lbs, but I have gained about 7 lbs around my middle. Dizziness has increased in week three. Sometimes I have trouble walking or getting up. Facial swelling, particularly in the eyelids, but also across my nose and cheeks (sinus area). Bloating and swelling on hands. Sadness, crying. Hoarseness. Confusion, got my days mixed up and more."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I have nerve inflammation widespread. In the beginning, it helped my pain, but soon side effects like constipation, bloating, and gas crept in. I kept taking it to see if they would subside, but they never did. My gut is still recovering. Too bad. Low-dose aspirin with Tylenol works best for me. Ibuprofen doesn't agree either."

For Inflammatory Conditions "Didn't help with the inflamed situation it was prescribed for. Nausea, bloating, abdominal pain, insomnia, restlessness, headaches. ITCHY! So very itchy. Make it stop. I haven't slept in days."
