For Psoriasis "This injection has been a miracle drug for me. I have suffered with scalp psoriasis since I was about 12 years old. I am now 38. I tried several prescription ointments/topicals, natural treatments, and every shampoo that I could find for scalp psoriasis, but nothing ever helped or got rid of it. The worst flare-up occurred when my dad was diagnosed with cancer and passed. I could feel the hardened skin on my scalp when I would tilt my head back. It was awful. Taltz completely cleared my scalp psoriasis in a matter of weeks. No more chemical-filled shampoos destroying my scalp and hair. No more stress or embarrassment of going to a hairdresser. This injection is AMAZING."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Injection burns like fire!! But the results are incredible. After 3 treatments, almost all areas are cleared. Legs were raw and would bleed daily over most of the lower leg. Now only slight redness still exists. This has been a miracle drug so far. Had previously used Stelara and Otezla, without much result."

For Plaque Psoriasis "43 yr old female, psoriasis since 9 yrs old. Tried Humira 50% cleared, Stelara 90% cleared. Tried others because Dr. thought I could be 100% clear - Cosentyx maybe 60% clear now Taltz. Skin looking OK, like it might get to 90% during loading stage (12 weeks) BUT injection site pain and reaction over my whole thigh, can’t wear pants, but it did get better by icing immediately after. Other side effects - heavy scaling in my hair, ear infections fortnightly, thrush, skin rash/chafing, dry nasal passages, my nostril has split and scarred on one side. Thick sticky discharge from my nose, ears, and eyes and developed a rash reaction to the discharge at the corners of my eyes, nose, mouth, and my ears including my earlobes. Hearing issues and can’t see when eyes inflamed. I am really sick, 1 month since stopping it and waiting and praying for side effects to improve. ENT specialist booked for 6 weeks' time, absolutely not worth it for me unfortunately."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I have plaque, palmoplantar, psoriatic arthritis, and hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). The PsA was so bad last December that I couldn't walk, dress myself, etc. PsA is the worst pain I've ever experienced, and I'm a cancer survivor. My rheumatologist put me on methotrexate and prednisone. My skin instantly cleared. I was a bit stiff with random joints acting up here and there, but so much better that I tolerated the small amount of discomfort. My rheumatologist put me on Taltz (I had been on Humira for 2 1/2 years. It stopped working on my skin, and I flared with the PsA while I was on Humira). While the insurance was monkeying around to approve the Taltz, I broke out in palmoplantar psoriasis. Here we are after the 3rd dose, and my palms and soles of my feet are no better, plus the plaques I had before the methotrexate are coming back. I don't know if this is a coincidental flare or a reaction. But my joints are pain-free! So I'm hesitant to call my rheumatologist and ask for another medication. I'm still undecided about its effects on my skin."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I am 27 y/o and have had psoriatic arthritis for 11 years. I have taken Enbrel, Humira, Cosentyx, Methotrexate, and Xeljanz. This drug has cleared up my psoriasis and helped my arthritis tremendously. I still have slight joint pain (no psoriasis), but this helps me live and function almost normally! The only complaint I have is the amount of pain I have. I thought I was going crazy after speaking with my doctor, who told me that her patients don’t report pain with this medication, but it’s extremely painful. I have tried lidocaine, and it does help a little if anyone is experiencing the same thing I am. I have a horrible site reaction as well, the reaction goes away in less than 48 hours, though. It does work well, I am grateful to have it and hope it lasts. My last 3 medications have failed in less than 6 months. If you are feeling the same as I am, don’t worry! You are not the only one complaining about how bad the pain is! :( Hope everyone is recovering well!"

For Plaque Psoriasis "I have been on Taltz for about 8 months now, and before Taltz, NOTHING even subsided my psoriasis. I am now completely clear of the plaques (still have the white spots that occur when the plaques go away). The only downside to this medicine is it really does weaken your immune system. I was never sick before this medicine, and now I am ALWAYS sick. Strep throat, multiple infections, colds, everything. I've gotten so sick I've almost considered this medicine not worth it even though it's effective. What's even worse is that I'm on a trial for the child version of the medicine. Overall, really effective medicine, completely clear, yet always really sick."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I have been on Taltz for about 18 months for psoriatic arthritis with limited skin psoriasis. I tried Methotrexate first (sent my liver enzymes too high to continue), Otezla (no improvement), Cosentyx (worked great, but had an allergic reaction after the last loading dose that took all the steroids for a month to control), and now Taltz. Taltz has kept my arthritis almost completely under control. I went from taking tons of Aleve or Ibuprofen daily to almost never taking one now. I still get what I assume are weird flares here and there-with patches of scales in my brows and ankle/foot pain, but it's nothing compared to the shape I was in before getting diagnosed. The new formulation doesn't burn, and I have had an overall really positive experience with Taltz."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "I am on the 4th day and feel less burning, sharp neck pain, and less body pain that's been constant for 5 years. I tried Humira, Cimzia, and Enbrel, and they all made me feel flu-like with no pain relief. I am praying that I can keep waking up and not suffering all day. I am so excited that I might have my life back and think I cracked a smile this morning."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "The medication gave me a good deal of relief and greatly shortened the time it took to feel like a human after waking in the morning. I'm a 60-year-old man in otherwise terrific shape. I work out regularly as a way to keep my arthritis from diminishing my range of motion and becoming debilitatingly painful. Despite the many received benefits, I am considering going off of it. Last year, a small puncture wound went rapidly out of control and became septic in very short order. Several surgeries, two hospitalizations, and many months on IV antibiotics. It was terrifying and life-threatening. I almost lost the infected limb. The infection could have been avoided had I not been on the immune suppressant Taltz. The stuff definitely works as advertised, and I was warned about the increased risk of infection. I simply had no idea that the infection could have advanced so quickly and become so dire. I will, of course, be speaking with my doctor about alternatives."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I have been using Taltz for 2 months now. I do not have the arthritis pain that I once did in my arms and legs. It has cleared the psoriasis of my hands about 80%, and my feet look somewhat better but only 50% clear. I will continue using Taltz as long as I can. No side effects to mention. In the first week, I can't sleep, and I feel a little sick with no appetite. Minor setback in comparison. I'm glad I found this medication."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "Took initial double dose injection. Two weeks after that, felt sick, like coming down with a cold. Had blood work done, liver enzymes were high! Were not high before this. Waited a week, another blood test, same thing. Week 4, total heart blockage. Now have a pacemaker. Not sure if coincidence or rare side effect. Since not taking next dose, liver enzymes returned to normal, but now I have a pacemaker!"

For Plaque Psoriasis "I have had psoriasis on 75% of my body for about 15 years (since I was 9). I have been to many doctors, used creams, phototherapy, Enbrel, and Humira. I have been on Taltz for 12 weeks now and have completely clear skin. It is amazing to feel like a person again and not be in constant, dry, flaky pain. The injection hurt more than any I have ever had, and the injection spots were horrible. I learned a lot of tricks to mask that pain, and the spots have not been as bad since. I love Taltz, this medication has changed my life."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis (PA) 14 years ago. I have been on everything. My rheumatologist recommended Taltz. Just took my first shot yesterday. My leg is very sore and red. I have been getting weird nasal sensations as well. I think I'm done trying all medications. I plan on taking a food sensitivity test and looking into natural supplements."

For Plaque Psoriasis "It's been over a year on Taltz, and I am 100% clear. Miracle drug for me and improved my quality of life. Was in Hawaii last week and sunbathing, snorkeling, swimming like any other person without feeling ashamed. One last callout: I see a lot of negative reviews on Taltz due to the injection. I migrated from autoinjector (very painful) early on to a normal needle, and the latter has minimal pain."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "Took Otezla for a year with no effects, still progressing pain in fingers, wrists, toes, feet, ankles. MD recommended Taltz, using autoinjectors. I was not sanguine about chances for success after being in increasing pain for so long. Within about a month, I was pleasantly surprised: it was very helpful in obliterating PA symptoms that had been painful enough to wake me at night, and incidentally clearing up undiagnosed skin effects I had for decades. When choosing the injection site, I imagine my belly as a clock face and the digits corresponding to the month. Then I don’t have to remember where I injected it last. Injections are not at all painful, as the complaints caused the manufacturer to change the pH so it doesn’t sting."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I took my first dose a week ago. Within days, I started to see improvement. I have psoriasis all over. Some smaller spots, some larger than a softball. Now, at a week, my thickest plaques are almost gone. I still have discoloration at the sites, but no plaques. I've been on Raptiva, which worked very well until they took it off the market. I've been on Humira, Stelara, just about all the topicals you could name, and most recently Enbrel for the last few years. I really can't believe how quickly this cleared my skin. The only thing that gave me this type of result was cyclosporine, and that took over a month to get this clear. I'll admit that the auto-inject was not the most pleasant feeling, and I typically use a prefilled syringe."

For Psoriasis "I have been on Taltz for a year now. It has helped me a lot. I’ve noticed that people have said that the injections are painful. When I first started, it says to inject in the leg, so I did, it was the worst pain from an injection I ever felt. But after that, I inject in the abdomen and it does not hardly hurt, and sometimes I have no injection pain. I do the abdomen always now."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I just started Taltz. My first two injections were two days ago. I’ve done auto-injectors before, but this one is so painful that I have to have someone else do it for me. Is it the injector itself or is it the medication? Am I doing the injections wrong? Idk."

For Plaque Psoriasis "39-year-old male who never had previous issues until about a year ago. I developed psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis that covered 80-90% of my body. I tried multiple other medicines without any success. I was finally able to see a new rheumatologist who gave me my first 2 shots of 80 mg TALTZ, and I was on my way to clearer skin and less joint pain. Now, almost 3 months later, I'm almost completely clear of plaque psoriasis except for a few scars along my lower legs. I can honestly say this medicine has saved my life and given me the quality of life back that I had prior to this psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis breakout. I know it's something I will forever have to deal with, but I'm thankful my doctor found a medicine that works for me."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Just wanted to give an update. I have now finished taking Taltz every two weeks, and will be injecting every four weeks. I had very severe plaque psoriasis, thick, which basically covered all my legs. Although I’ve had amazing results, I’m about 80% clearer since starting this drug. I still have lots of smaller patches on my legs. I’m just hoping in time these patches will also disappear and not start to get any worse. Now I’m moving to injecting every four weeks, keeping my fingers crossed. I feel good, no infections, amazing drug."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Taltz caused severe swelling the size of hockey pucks that lasted an entire week at injection sites for the initial two injections (mid-thigh). Thought it was just my body adjusting to the new medication, but upon week #2 injection, an even worse reaction! Same 'hockey puck' under my skin as week #1 and spread to an 8' hardened 'pancake' under the skin with redness, severe swelling, itching (for a week and counting). It is painful and radiating heat, an under-the-skin 'hive.' My doctor believes I may be reacting to a certain protein often used in injections. I was on Stelara = no improvement, tried Humira, and had some improvement but problems getting the product shipped at proper refrigerated temps and flimsy injections needing to be replaced."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "Recently started Taltz a month ago after my Stelara stopped working after 10 years. The bit of psoriasis I had has cleared, and the psoriatic arthritis is slowly getting better. Terribly painful. Yes, the shots hurt, so I put ice in a zip lock on my leg 15 minutes before injection. Problem solved."
