For Plaque Psoriasis "Psoriasis for 5 years. All of my father's side of the family has it as well. First, okay with topical treatments, but it got worse all the time. Tried UVB, methotrexate, cyclosporine (which gave me UTI-like symptoms but no actual infections), Otezla (which I was on for 6 months and constantly nauseous), and Humira. None of these gave me virtually any results. Probably slowed down the outbreak of new patches, but did nothing to the old ones. I have now taken the starting dose of 2 injections about 2 weeks ago. My back, which was one of my biggest problem areas, has almost cleared up. Arms (also problem area) are looking a little better. Had some small spots on my stomach, and most of them are gone. What I am really pleased about is that I haven’t noticed any new spots, which was almost daily earlier. It’s an expensive drug, and I was happy to be approved for it by the government (not living in the US). Looking forward to seeing if it still keeps improving and hoping I can someday be 100% clear!"

For Psoriasis "Guttate psoriasis over 50% of legs for 20 years. I’ve tried light therapy, steroid creams, Tazorac, Otezla, and Cosentyx. Otezla made me nauseous and did nothing. Creams would help slightly, but it took weeks and also left my skin raw and peeling. Cosentyx for 9 months made them slightly smaller, but no real noticeable change. Just had my week 2 dose of Taltz. I have to say it might be just the initial loading dose of a biologic repeating, but it is actually better. A long way to go, but I am hopeful. And I agree that the autoinjector pen is ridiculously painful. Brings tears, and I am pretty tough. It is short-lived though, and praying this biologic finally makes it to where I can wear shorts."

For Psoriasis "The company really helped me get insurance approval. Took a while, and some issues with insurance were all resolved in time and worth it. This medication helped me with psoriasis, clearing completely at 6 months, even the scalp. Helped PsA back pain and all joint pain took longer, but I really noticed changes at 1 year. I didn't have any side effects except some nausea and exacerbated IBS. Nausea helped with anti-nausea watch. IBS may be worsening, though. Afraid to get off due to the time it took for it to work, build up, and approvals."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Been on the drug for 6 weeks now, had upper respiratory problems after 5th injection, sinus ear infection, and after 6th shot (throat irritations and sinus drainage). Took Tylenol and Mucinex, and that seemed to work for me. It cleared my skin and scalp, but little to no nausea. Only had to pay 5 dollars for my medication after insurance. Overall, the medication did work for my plaque psoriasis, but still questionable about side effects. I was on Enbrel for years, and it almost cleared all my skin, but some of my scalp. Enbrel side effects gave me some small boils and small colds (sneezing) after injection. Praying that this works for me; however, if the upper respiratory continues or worsens, I will want to change because I can't deal."

For Psoriasis "I had psoriasis that the dermatologist diagnosed with a biopsy and spondylitis in the spine found with X-rays, as well as back pain, swollen toes, and more. Taltz pushed psoriasis into remission (it only acts up occasionally on the scalp, and I treat it with fungicide). Psoriatic arthritis and spondylitis are better too. All symptoms are minor now. Could not do much until I got Taltz. I had pain, swelling, cramping, and had given up working out and more. Now I am plaque free, can go to the gym, and am getting my life back thanks to Taltz. It's a very painful injection, but it's over in a few minutes, and I am grateful. Use ice, Tylenol, and Benadryl with a lidocaine patch 30 minutes before injection. Have the doctor give you your injection (not you), and it's worth it. Use a syringe, not an auto-injector pen. I had IBS before Taltz, and Linzess helps my tummy. Nausea managed with magnesium gummies and ginger caps in the morning. Insurance paid because of the biopsy, X-rays, and the doctor diagnosed all properly. My insurance covers, and the most paid was $5.00 per month. I think it's a great drug as long as it is injected right."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Excellent - skin and joint pain cleared completely after a couple of weeks. My main problem was the skin, but it also helped with the joint pain. Side effects were a little nausea at first, but you can ask your doctor for some Zofran, and that goes away. The injections hurt slightly for a tiny bit, but it’s negligible and well worth it. Very easy to use. A big pain to get covered by insurance for my doctor, but I’m so glad they went the extra nine yards because it really works well."

For Plaque Psoriasis "God sent after 26 years of pain and suffering, this is truly the best gift I was ever given. A little nausea sometimes, but overall WOW! Clear in 2 months. OMG! THANK YOU, TALTZ!"

For Psoriatic Arthritis "37 years old, have psoriatic arthritis for 11 years, although do believe Humira gave me psoriasis and Cosentyx fixed it. Cosentyx caused massive lung nodules, and biopsies showed inflammation. Discontinued, and they went away after 6 months. Was on Cimzia for 6+ years and did well, then stopped working. Almost seemed to make things worse. Started Taltz. In a month's time, have felt unwell, nausea, stomach issues - burning, discomfort, eye blurriness, increased migraines, mucus increased (drainage), trouble sleeping, and reactivated shingles virus. My joints felt stiff, painful but muted? Does that make sense? Haven’t felt good since taking it, and don’t believe I want to keep seeing what it does. I just completed the first two injections."
