For Vaginal Yeast Infection "While using the 3-day dose, I experienced headaches on the second night dose. Also, on my first and second dose, every now and then I would get an itching sensation. The third was pretty OK. I'm on my fourth dose now because I had some cream left over... hopefully this last one does the job completely. Plus, I've been eating yogurt... (first yeast infection)."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Was prescribed 3 days after Diflucan didn't work for me. The first night was fine, but on the second day, I began feeling feverish and a severe headache. I thought that would be the worst of it, so I used the second dose, and in the middle of the night, I woke up shaking, sweating, with a high fever and chills. Thought I was dying, felt like a horrible flu. Could not continue this medication - the absolute worst. I NEVER have side effects with medication, and this was a nightmare."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After my first dose of the 3-day suppositories, the next day I was hit with high fever, chills, headache, and body aches. I didn't think it was the medicine, so I continued. The next day was worse. So bad I had to go to the ER. I did finish the medicine and still have symptoms. Will not use again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Itching has gone down after the third dose, but I have a burning sensation when I put the medication in. I also started having a headache and nausea, but it could be from the oral antibiotics I was put on."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My yeast infection from the antibiotic Azithromycin (I took it for a bad sinus infection) did not go away with 1 oral dose of fluconazole, so I went to the doctor for a solution. She prescribed this and said it is strong. It is so strong my head feels like it was crushed under a car. Very painful headache. Yeast symptoms all gone after day 2 of 3. I wouldn't recommend this med, I've had better results using plain yogurt (have a dairy allergy though, so unable to use any longer). Cost was $10 at Walgreens with United Healthcare insurance."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was prescribed the 3-day treatment for a yeast infection (I had very mild symptoms but noticed more discharge than usual and felt like I always had to pee - no itchiness). My doctor said I had a vaginal infection. After taking the 3rd dose of terconazole, the discharge is gone, however, I now have severe itchiness inside and still have the frequent urge to urinate. My bladder or something inside feels like it’s throbbing every time I urinate then for hours after. It’s the weekend, so I’m having to wait to speak with my doctor on next steps. I’ve never experienced discomfort like this, and based on the reviews, I’m guessing these side effects are not normal or maybe my doctor was wrong and I have a urinary infection."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Went to my doctor. She prescribed me a 3-day suppository. On the first night of me taking it, I woke up with a dizzy feeling, real nauseous. I didn't think much of it because my daughter was getting over a cold. On night 2 of my taking it, I woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, shivering, whole body sore, not able to move my neck, headache that won't go away no matter what I take. I'll never use this medicine again. I'm at the ER right now because I feel so terrible. This is the worst pain I've ever been in in my life. Hoping this helps someone. Don't risk your health with this stuff."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Woke up the next morning from the first dose not feeling the greatest. Within a short period of time, I was vomiting, had the chills, and the worst aching all over that I have ever had. Lasted over 3 hours. Finally... slept most of it off after 6 or so hours of sleep. Woke dizzy and had a headache that lasted through the next day. Really thought I was dying, but too sick to move."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I saw negative reviews and should have followed my gut. I was prescribed terconazole 3 ovules for what we thought was a yeast infection. Turns out it wasn't. Anyway, I used one ovule for one night and woke up with body aches and feeling like I had COVID. My head hurt, I was tired, and my bones hurt. I was so weak. I called my doctor and they switched me over to Monistat 7. My itching became worse and it's been a year later. I've been diagnosed with vulvodynia now. Guess what? There is no 'reason' that doctors give you for vulvodynia, but mine started right after taking this. I have burning, itching, and redness now all because I took this stupid medication. If you have a yeast infection, ask for an oral dose. I'm angry that people state yeast causes vulvodynia. No, it doesn't. Monistat and terconazole do!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had a severe lingering yeast infection (first ever at 26!) that 3 doses of fluconazole couldn't wipe out. My doc prescribed me a 7-night treatment of terconazole because she thought a more direct medication might help. The 1st night was a nightmare to get the applicator in - there's no closed off, rounded end like a tampon, so you can't really just push it in, and my vaginal opening was already swollen and sore. As the infection got better, it was easier to insert. I did experience side effects of mild cramping, stomachaches, gassiness, and sensitivity to smell. Food smells would give me nausea and headaches at the same time. The effects of the cream weren't as immediate as the pills, so I wasn't sure if it was working at first but kept going as instructed. I just finished my 7th dose last night, and the infection seems to be gone. I feel pretty normal again. Very relieved that this worked for me and even more relieved to be done with it."
