Terconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Works... The burning was crazy the first night and especially on the itchy areas, but at least I knew it was working. By my third night, the slight rash I had completely cleared up, and I will finish the rest to make sure it doesn't come back. The last yeast infection I had was 7 years ago."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This cream is great. I’m guessing the ones who have had the bad reactions to it must be having an allergic reaction. Idk. But for me. I use it regularly (I get yeast infections 1x a month :/) and this is the only thing that will kick it. No burning, no dizziness, just relief. Good product. Works for me. Don’t be scared off from these crazy reviews. Everybody's different :)"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is my night #1 of 3 with the vaginal suppositories. I will say that I am having far more discomfort now than I was before I inserted the medicine. I can only pray the next 2 doses are far less irritating, burning, and itching than tonight. I would much rather try different methods than this. There will be no sleeping through this misery."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've dealt with chronic yeast infections for years. Sometimes I'll go months without, but other times, I get one once a month. The 7-day treatment is the only thing that works for me. I've used this medication for at least 9 years as needed. Highly recommend it!! And for outer itching, ask the doctor for nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. Numbs the area to completely relieve burning and itching."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After 2 weeks of an infection... 2 shots of Rocephin and steroids and Augmentin, I got a raging YI. Burning, itching, and thick discharge... called MD, she called in 3 days of Fluconazole and Terconazole. Took the 1st pill in daytime, then waited before bed to do the insert. Holy moly, mother of God... my world was on FIRE!!!! The burning was so intense I could only imagine it comparable to a hot fire poker covered in acid. Thought it would ease up, then the insert leaked out of my vagina and commenced an attack on my other womanly bits. Got up and showered, no relief... finally went to sleep and woke up with swollen MEGA Vaj."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've only ever had 2 yeast infections in my life (I'm in my mid-30s) and got the most recent one a few days ago. This time I went to the gyno because, with my first ever YI, I used OTC Monistat and reacted horribly to it. For this YI, I was prescribed the 3-day cream course of terconazole. Yesterday I applied just a little to the outside area to make sure it wouldn't burn or have side effects... it didn't and provided almost immediate relief from the itching. So I applied the recommended internal dosage and went to sleep. In the morning, my symptoms were completely gone. I've had no bad side effects whatsoever, and even the soreness in my lower pelvis from the infection is also gone. I'm finishing the course so the infection doesn't come back and am glad this worked so well for me. I find it to be a very gentle and effective treatment."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am 37 weeks pregnant and suffered yeast infections throughout the pregnancy. I used Monistat 7 and would experience burning and itching less than an hour after use. My doctor prescribed me this medication. Finally!!!!! Relief!!!! No burning, no itching, only a slight cramp which I could deal with. Today is day one. Use it before sleep, not while your day is going by. I'm feeling so much better in such a short period of time. Seems like some people experienced some side effects which I hope I don't. So far, so good."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Terconazole is really great, and it’s my first time using it. I prefer Diflucan, but being pregnant, they won’t give you the pills. Terconazole is amazing because it doesn’t burn! It will leak a little once you get up in the morning, but it’s not bad if you use it at bedtime like you’re supposed to, and I felt much better the next morning."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’ve had chronic yeast infections for years, and for me, this is the only medication that’s worked for me. My doctor did a 6-week treatment of Diflucan, 2 other creams, and Monistat, only to find they kept coming back. Now, after having had surgery to fix the damage the infections did over the years, I always request Terconazole if I have one. Recently, I got another because of too many antibiotics (other issues), and I asked for Terconazole because after years of suffering, that is the only cream I know works for me. I will say, though, that the first few days create a burn/irritation quite a bit, the tube likes to overflow almost uncontrollably after filling the applicator, and the feeling of walking around for 7 days as if I was on a very heavy period with something there isn’t fun, but it is bearable. Definitely plan on using this again if ever need be and recommend it!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am 7 months pregnant and had a YI. Last time (4 months ago with my last infection), I took Monistat 7 days, it was torture. It burned and kept me awake for hours. Fast forward to Terconazole. I told my doctor about the torture, and he prescribed me this instead. I'm on the 7 days. So far, no burning, and my YI symptoms are gone. Yeah, it's messy. But all the 7-day creams are messy. I'll take the mess for the soothing, reaction-less healing of Terconazole."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m using terconazole in the 3-day dosage form. Immediately felt cramping and then had bloody discharge. The pain and burning did not subside, rather, I became more sensitive and inflamed. I’m taking my 3rd dosage today, but so far I hate this product and wish I took a pill instead (which used to work for me in the past)."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was 6 weeks pregnant when I started having burning and itching of my privates. My OB-GYN prescribed terconazole, 3-day regimen. It worked like magic, by the second day of use, I was feeling relieved. Less itch and burning sensation. Now, a year after, the yeast infection returned, I'm currently using it again, and hopefully will be better."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had a constant struggle with yeast infection during pregnancy. I used it for 10 days. It burned for a few days for me because I was raw and irritated from how bad the itching was. As soon as I applied and inserted this cream, it burned and itched for a while but cleared up my yeast infection fast. Personally, I like the pill one-time dose better but wear a pad or liner. Don't have sex while using this, it will burn your partner!!!!"

Terconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Terazol 3 works for me every time, especially if I have to take an antibiotic for a UTI. Diflucan does not always work. No side effects, except maybe the first day, I get a little slight burn, but it goes away pretty quickly, and the medicine starts working immediately. After 48 hours, I feel great, but take the day 3 application, and I feel 100% cured."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was put on Terazol 0.8% after my results came back showing I had a yeast infection. My GYN had noticed some discharge prior to prescribing me Terazol. The first day went okay, but my second day I noticed some discomfort. I had a little bit of irritation/burning, but was told by my provider that's normal and to continue the medication. By my third day after inserting my last dose, I still noticed the same symptoms as day two. I hope this last dose of it zaps this YI away! I will come back with an update."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently 4 months pregnant, the doctor found “traces of yeast” in my vagina and prescribed me this. Took my first dose yesterday. For the first 10 minutes, I was completely fine... then after that... I got a weird sensation that didn’t want to make me get out of bed. I curled up in a ball just to make it stop. Skip forward to today... I felt fine until I peed... Now before taking this medicine, I wasn’t feeling any type of burning or discomfort... it felt like a burning sensation with what looked like light spotting. I didn’t take another dose... will be talking to my doctor about this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is the meanest, diabolical cream. Not sure what sick experiment this is. Do not believe good reviews, probably someone from the drug company. I had instant cramping, burnt the inside of me and the outside. Did not work! Report to Health Canada, the company itself, or FDA. Needs to go!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have had vaginal issues for 3 weeks, tried to wait it out for one week, went to the doctor for a pill the second week, then they gave me terconazole. I have not been able to sleep since it started three weeks ago, but with the terconazole, I feel like I am absolutely on fire. I took the third dose, hoping that would stop, but it is worse now than the first night. I switched to a different plunger because the one provided had sharp edges and was very painful to use. The other plunger worked great, but the burning is just unbearable, and I woke up sick this morning. I didn't connect it to the medication until now. I got dizzy and nauseous feeling, and the burning is horrible."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Awful experience. I got a yeast infection over a week ago from the use of an antibiotic. I originally had mild irritation and major yeast buildup and first treated it with Monistat. The yeast buildup and discharge went away temporarily and returned within a few days, so I called the gyn to get prescribed something more effective. Prior to using the medication, I actually noticed less discharge and less irritation, but decided I would still use as recommended to ensure the YI was gone. Worst decision, I used the cream before bed at 10 pm, had no side effects, went to sleep. Woke up at 2 am to use the bathroom, immediately after using the bathroom, I had severe burning and itching and could not fall back to sleep due to pain. Decided to look up reviews and side effects, and to my surprise, many women are suffering from this medication. I immediately sat on the toilet for 30 mins to allow the medication to leak out and took a shower. Feeling much better, and itching and burning are subsiding."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Got diagnosed with BV, and Dr. gave me metronidazole vaginal gel - that was awful! I did it for three nights and woke up each night in so much pain I couldn’t sleep. Swollen, itchy, super irritated! Went back to my Dr. and he prescribed me terconazole cream. I was super skeptical at first because I didn’t want to go through the same experience, but of course, I'm going to trust my Dr. If he says it’ll make it better, then it should make it better, right? Wrong! The first night of applying the cream, and I got the same symptoms, if not worse than before! Only had it in for two hours, and it woke me out of dead sleep to the itching and burning pain. Never again will I use any type of cream. Worst experience of my life."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I usually only get YI when I'm on antibiotics. Never fails. Well, one day I woke up and had a strange, odourless discharge, but it was in excessive amounts. Ignored it for about 2-3 days, and then the itching set in. And burning. Which I've never had accompanied by a YI. Went to the doctor. Prescribed fluconazole, 150 mg, and then a second dose in a week and this cream. Inserting wasn't as bad as I anticipated, actually, and I can't even use tampons. Instantly, the itching inside slowly subsided and was still itchy on the outside, but it's been 35 minutes on the dot, and now I feel totally relaxed with only an occasional twinge down there that is easily ignored. I'm excited to get some sleep and beyond happy to feel some relief."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was prescribed this medication for a yeast infection. After one suppository, the burning was ridiculous. I went to get checked out by my doctor the next day, and she said I'd experienced what looked like a chemical burn. It basically looked like I'd been sandpapered from the inside out (felt like it too). After two weeks, I'm still healing and dealing with burning pain from a reaction to this medication. My tests are normal, so no infection, but now my doctor feels I need to try vaginal estrogen to counteract the dryness. This wasn't an issue before this happened. This medication needs to be taken off the market."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I went to urgent care after having UTI symptoms for a week. After the doctor learned I had been on an antibiotic recently, he summed it up as a yeast infection (despite my urinalysis). I had already taken a Diflucan a week prior, but still had the smallest amount of yeast. My plan was to get the UTI treated and then worry about the remaining yeast infection. I took 1 dose of the 3-day cream treatment with no issues. I went to my PCP a few days later, and she wrote me an antibiotic for the UTI. With that underway, I finished out the cream. I used the second dose Wednesday night and the third dose Thursday night... woke up Friday in pain. As the weekend has progressed, my pain has gotten severe. I have a blister-like rash starting at my vagina and going on my bottom. I can barely sit down or wipe myself well due to the burning, cracked skin sensation. Using the restroom hurts so bad I get nauseated from the pain. I'm suffering needlessly because a doctor jumped to conclusions."
