For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am 8 months pregnant, and the doctor told me I have a 'yeast infection,' which is common for pregnant women. This is my 3rd day using this cream, and it was uncomfortable at first to put the tube into my vagina so I could put the cream inside, but now I'm used to it. But I just hate how the cream leaks out of my vagina and ruins my underwear. At first, I didn't know that it was normal for that to happen until I read the comments from other people's experiences."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is my night #1 of 3 with the vaginal suppositories. I will say that I am having far more discomfort now than I was before I inserted the medicine. I can only pray the next 2 doses are far less irritating, burning, and itching than tonight. I would much rather try different methods than this. There will be no sleeping through this misery."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I get recurrent YI and used to take one or two rounds of Diflucan until I started getting an allergic reaction to it. So, my last visit, my doctor prescribed terconazole for 3 days for me to have on hand. After getting a doozy of a YI last week, I read reviews on terconazole and was a little skeptical but had nothing else to try. I tried it and am so happy I did. I was so desperate for relief the first day that I used it during the day, and that was a mistake. Everything poured out! It’s best to use at nighttime so everything mostly stays inside. After day two, I was almost discharge-free, and the discomfort was better by day four and five. I know everyone is different, but this worked wonders for me."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I never knew I had a yeast infection, I thought a little itchiness was a common thing, but apparently not. I was on this cream for 7 days, and I've had no problems. The only annoying thing is that it leaks out a little, and it feels weird. I don't know if it's helped any since my infection wasn't bad, but I haven't had any itching or any discomfort since using this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was put on Terazol 0.8% after my results came back showing I had a yeast infection. My GYN had noticed some discharge prior to prescribing me Terazol. The first day went okay, but my second day I noticed some discomfort. I had a little bit of irritation/burning, but was told by my provider that's normal and to continue the medication. By my third day after inserting my last dose, I still noticed the same symptoms as day two. I hope this last dose of it zaps this YI away! I will come back with an update."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was prescribed the 3-day treatment for a yeast infection (I had very mild symptoms but noticed more discharge than usual and felt like I always had to pee - no itchiness). My doctor said I had a vaginal infection. After taking the 3rd dose of terconazole, the discharge is gone, however, I now have severe itchiness inside and still have the frequent urge to urinate. My bladder or something inside feels like it’s throbbing every time I urinate then for hours after. It’s the weekend, so I’m having to wait to speak with my doctor on next steps. I’ve never experienced discomfort like this, and based on the reviews, I’m guessing these side effects are not normal or maybe my doctor was wrong and I have a urinary infection."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have been on the 7-day for 6 days. There’s less itching, but a couple of nights I’d wake up with burning and discomfort. I had to put an ice pack on it to numb the pain. It was agonizing. I went to ask the doctor if it was still safe to use, and they said that it should stop by day 3 or 4. I’ve had bleeding that isn’t going away even though the doctor said it would by now. The swelling went down, but I feel like I’m on my period with all this bleeding (also I’m on birth control, so I know I’m not on my period yet). For my first yeast infection, this was a waste of money and time."

Terconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have been getting recurrent YI for 4 years now. Usually, I can take a Diflucan and it's gone within days. Now I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with my second YI since I've been pregnant. The first time I had Monistat, and it burned so bad I washed it right out and let nature take its course. This time my doctor prescribed Terazol 7 cream, and it is the BEST. No burning, itching, or discomfort upon insertion!!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I don't know if the suppository works or not because I'm too tender to use the insert. The plunger is sharp and pointy and not like a tampon at all. I'm already extremely uncomfortable, and there is no way this thing is going in me. This must have been made by a man. I feel like I'm cutting myself and can't get the plunger in deep enough to get the cream to where it needs to be to work."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had the worst yeast infection I’ve ever had, and was prescribed one fluconazole pill and 3 days of terconazole cream. The first night of cream was a little uncomfortable, but any of the ones I’ve taken cause some discomfort at first, so I didn’t mind. After the second application, I was excited when I woke up the next day because I felt great and knew I only had one more day of treatment. Well, the day after my 3rd dose, I was feeling so itchy, and I thought maybe it was the panty liner I had been wearing, but nope, this stuff made my YI WORSE! I’m so itchy and burning now, and have to wait through the weekend to call the doctor. Not to mention, a lot of the cream spilled out of the tube uncontrollably!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I got a yeast infection after a 10-day course of antibiotics. I was given Diflucan (one pill) and Monistat for 3 days. I still had discomfort after using these two medications. My OBGYN prescribed Terconazole for 7 days to completely eliminate the yeast infection. My experience has been ambivalent. It’s good because the burning and itchiness are gone, but I got my period on day one of using Terconazole. This medication made my period a complete nightmare. The stomach pain and cramping that this gives me are terrible. It has also made my flow worse. I have been feeling really weak. I am on day 4 of the 7-day course, and I cannot wait to finish it once and for all. Overall, it did what it was supposed to do-elongate the yeast infection, but the side effects have been really bad."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I took Diflucan first, per call to Dr. Then I went for an exam. The Dr. said that Diflucan only helps if the yeast is in the gut. He prescribed Terconazole 3-day. After using the medication, I still feel uncomfortable and not itchy. What is going on?"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wanted to share a second review. Nine months after my last YI, I had another one start four days ago. Luckily, I had a refill of this medicine available. The first night I applied the cream, it did sting a little (that did not happen last time), but the stinging subsided in about 20 minutes. The YI symptoms were almost completely gone by the next morning, except for a random twinge the next day. I applied the medicine the second night and experienced no side effects whatsoever. By the next morning, the infection symptoms were completely gone. I just applied the third dose about two hours ago, and everything feels totally fine. I think the first dose was slightly temporarily uncomfortable because I went after the itch a bit, and perhaps the skin was a little sore. In any case... two good experiences with this medicine with little to no side effects!"
