For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Do not buy!!! Monistat 3 pre-filled app. is the worst. I ended up in urgent care the next morning from the intense burning, swelling, and a horrible reaction to this. I will never use this product again. I am not sure what they changed in this, but if you have ever had a yeast infection, go to the doctor. Monistat is not worth it any longer...."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Used the egg and cream before bed. Woke up a couple of hours later with burning and excruciating pain. Shower didn't help much. I literally have a chemical burn. Why is this still on the market? I will push to get this removed from the shelves. 12 hours later and not much relief. So sore I hurt to move. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to document. Considering an attorney."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I would have read these comments before trying Monistat. I used the 3-day, and I am extremely uncomfortable right now. Cookie is on fire. I should have just used the external cream until I could go to urgent care or my OB-GYN. That internal cream is awful; I will never purchase again now that I know 1 pill would have had me cured."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I've used Monistat before and had no issues. I popped the first dose of my 3-day pack, and I'm 98% sure my vagina is now dead. Like, I think they replaced their formula with acid, and they said, 'yup, that will definitely do the trick.' Three seconds after popping that med up there, I was crying. I washed it out and put an ice pack on there like a burn victim. Anyway, don't recommend this murderous cream at all. R.I.P. Vagina."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Stop. Don’t purchase it. I bought Monistat earlier today for this yeast infection. Put in the suppository around 11 pm. It is currently 12:55 am, and I have been up for an hour with the ABSOLUTE WORST BURNING SENSATION EVER! I wish to everything I would’ve read about this sooner because this is pain. This is itching. This is burning. My vajayjay is so raw and sore because I can’t help but want to get this all out. Please do not get it. It isn’t worth it. At. All."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is unreal. It is now 3:33, and I inserted this lava coal into my poor, unsuspecting coochie at 10:38. When I tell you I have a high pain tolerance, I have 21 piercings, several tattoos, and, well, a lot of trauma, which Monistat one day is now becoming. I was okay at first. I almost felt a lot of relief. Then, about two hours later, I am sweating and at the brink of tears at my work desk. I am writing this in the restroom at the point of vomiting due to this pain. Like the others said, if you’re reading this, it’s too late. This demon marble has set my vagina ablaze. It’s like Indiana Jones is running his torch around my woman cave. This stuff is dangerous for coochie everywhere. There's no way anyone that released this has a vagina. I am about to leave work now to go home and cry. I do not recommend this. This is 3000 times worse than the yeast infection. Please just go to your gyno instead. I know I will."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I got a yeast infection for the first time from taking an antibiotic. I saw reviews online for Monistat and decided to give it a try. I am an extremely squeamish person, so the thought of inserting a cream through a tube was a bit terrifying for me, but I managed. I got Monistat 7 because it was the only one available at my Walmart, however, I am glad it worked out that way. The first three nights of application, I experienced an increase of itchiness and burning, which was rather uncomfortable for about an hour, then it would calm down and I could go to sleep. Nights four through seven, I did not feel anything. Symptoms were gone and no burning or itching when I applied the cream. This thing really did the job. I am glad I ended up with the seven-day because I know the 1-day or 3-day one would’ve burned more because they are higher dosages."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Terrible! I used a generic 3-day yeast suppository and felt relief with no side effects, but still had a bit of itching, so this time I tried Monistat 7 days. Had pain and burning, so bad I couldn’t sleep! I am not using the remainder of the Monistat."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I ended up in the ER with a pinky nail-sized ulcer and have chemical burns all around my vagina. The doctor said it was most likely a bad reaction to the cream Monistat provides. Miserable. I can barely walk. I will never use this product again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I pray you came here before using this product! I hardly ever get YI, maybe once a year. I’ve always used Monistat and have had no problems until now. About 5 seconds after I inserted the medicine, I was met with IMMEDIATE regret. I have never felt anything like what was happening. My vag was on FIRE. I started pacing and was trying to resist the urge to find an ice pack for my coochie. To make things worse, the water in my house was off due to maintenance, so I could not try to rinse it out or cool down at all. I was forced to wait it out. After about an hour, it did settle down and is 100% tolerable. If you’re coming here after using this product, wondering why it’s burning, I’m so sorry. I won’t be buying this brand again. NOT WORTH THE PAIN."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’ve used the 3-day treatment a few times in the past and had burning and itching, but it was tolerable and wasn’t bad. But this time around was quite worse. My vagina currently has 4 chemical burns: 1 on the labia, 2 on the side of the labia, and 1 right above the opening. I am in severe pain and cannot pee without screaming and damn near crying. I literally try to avoid peeing as much as possible right now until I can get to my doctor on Tuesday. This cream should be taken off the shelf with how many complaints it has. There’s also no telling what it’s doing to our insides either! DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have to agree with most everyone: it makes your vagina itch like absolute crazy! It feels like a yeast infection on steroids. I didn’t get the unbearable burn like most people, for me, it was mostly the itch that bothered me. But yeah, I don’t think I’ll endure this ever again. Much rather pay more for a one-dose pill. Good lord, it’s miserable."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This was my first time having a yeast infection. I 10/10 do not recommend this product because the burning sensation was too much to handle. The burning sensation lasted for over 12 hours. This product made my symptoms much worse after they were starting to get better (without medication). I had instant regret once the medication was already inside me. I would’ve been better off not taking anything for it. Never again will I take Monistat!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently feels like a bunch of red-hot fire ants are biting me on the inside and outside of my vagina. It started out mild. After 20 minutes, it was full-blown burn and only got worse from there. My yeast infection was so uncomfortable that at 2:00 AM, I went to Walgreens. I spent $21.39 on Monistat 3. At 2:30 AM, I had done the insertion. As soon as I pulled the applicator out, the burn started. But like I said, it was mild at first. By 3:00 AM, I was debating whether to go dig this crap out. I got a cold washcloth at about 3:20 AM, and that helped. Still, for the next hour, the burning got worse. It's now 9 AM. Still burns. Save your money, ladies."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The Monistat burn and itch is real. It's been 30 minutes so far, and I am on fire. Some say that this symptom is the Monistat working. Maybe it will be better in a few hours. If significant relief doesn't occur in the AM, I won't be using it again. What an uncomfortable experience!!! Cannot rate yet, only 30 minutes in . . ."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I get frequent yeast infections, and while I usually go to a doctor, I decided to save some time and get Monistat. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PRODUCT. I inserted it and immediately felt like I dumped gasoline in my vagina and lit it on fire. I was in tears from the itching and burning and had to flush it out. I am calling the FDA about this product because it is unsafe. I followed up and saw a doctor two days later, and they found burn marks that were bleeding along with my yeast infection. Stay safe, and if you are reading this and it has happened to you, call the FDA!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I purchased the Monistat 1 day because I wanted to be done with this mild yeast infection quickly, and it has always worked for me with no problems. Never have I felt burning like I did with this product. I was close to tears before I got in the shower to direct the showerhead up my center to rid myself of this awful product. I’m mad not only because I wasted my money, but also because I was tortured by that stuff. The cure is worse than the infection!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Damn! I purchased Monistat 3, used it last night, and immediately after using it, I started to feel terrible burning and horrible itching. Now keep in mind I’ve never had this happen to me before ever, and I’ve used these whenever I had a YI. I don’t know what they did to this product, but I won’t be buying again, and I’m going to call them up and file a complaint because this is ridiculous. And it’s the following day, and I’m still burning and itching. I don’t recommend using this product. Just see your doctor if you can. I would give it a 0 if I could. And for those saying it’s supposed to do that, no, it’s not supposed to do this at all. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I’ve used them numerous times with no issues till now."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have used Monistat 3-day over 10 times. I purchased it today, January 2021, and I have never in my life experienced this type of burning. They must have changed the formula, I will never use this medicine again in my life. I will go to urgent care tomorrow to get Diflucan."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Omg. I have had maybe 3 YIs in my life. I have used apple cider vinegar, which typically works. OTC prescription, easy. This is my first time using Monistat 3, and I am losing it. I am on day 2 and I don't know why I went back after day 1. After the first dose, I thought I was having an allergic reaction with how itchy my vag was. Definitely way worse than the YI itself. Day 2 is a little easier. It's still very uncomfortable. I will not be using the 3rd dose. I will say, however, the morning after the 1st dose, my vagina did feel a lot better. But I don’t think 2 hours of a flaming, itchy vagina is worth it. I’d rather have the YI."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Never in my entire life. I thought I should still continue putting the yeast infection cream in even though symptoms have subsided. Just no. Never again. It took only five minutes to feel like that nose vapor rub for when you’re sick was stuck in my vag. Luckily for me, I got it out in time (basically by pushing as hard as I could), and I ended up getting most of it actually out of me. I will never get this ever again. Not worth the pain."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was experiencing some slight itching that I was sure was a yeast infection since I had just finished a course of antibiotics. I often will get a yeast infection after taking antibiotics. Immediately after using the cream, I felt intense burning and itching like I've never felt before. I washed off the cream as best I could and applied some cortisone cream and took an antihistamine. The burning and itching subsided after about a half an hour. I've used Monistat numerous times in the past and have never had this happen before. I'm wondering, based on all these reviews, if it was a bad batch."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Do NOT use this! After a couple of days of dealing with a YI, I decided this may speed up healing. I inserted the cream and instantly had itching that was so unbearable I literally cried because after 15 minutes I couldn’t do it and scratched, which resulted in burning. I rinsed most of it off and things subsided. The next day my YI symptoms were better, so tonight I thought, hey, it must’ve been getting rid of the yeast, and maybe that’s why it got so intense, so tonight couldn’t be nearly as bad. Let me do the second dose. Horrible idea, within seconds I regretted that decision as I had gone ALL day with hardly an itch and barely any burning to a ridiculously unbearable itch that again resulted in tears, itching, burning, and washing. I will be calling my OB tomorrow for a different course of action because Monistat made things so much worse than the YI on its own. Awful experience and awful product. If I ever get another YI, I will never try this again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My only symptoms were slight vaginal itching and malodor, so I decided to pick it up at the store to try and see if it helps. Application was very simple and effective. I got some pretty bad itching for about 20 minutes on my first try (tonight), and it was bad, but it’s about 30 minutes later, and honestly, it’s almost gone. Let’s see how the rest of the week goes!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Don't do it! I am not sure what happened to this product, I used it years ago with zero problems. This time, after an hour of extreme burning and itching, I got online. As almost every woman on here said, I should have read the reviews first. Attempted to wash it all out, but I am laying here in terrible pain. I guess I won't be sleeping tonight. They should have to print a giant warning on the box."
