Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Acne "After one month I began noticing a difference. I was still getting breakouts, but they were healing faster and were not painful anymore. By two months I still was getting pimples but they were tiny, and vanishing overnight. Then after that, it stopped all together. I don't currently have a single pimple on my face and my post acne marks have had the chance to fade over the last three weeks. I'm finishing up my third month on the pill this week. Side Effects: At first I felt a bit drowsy, had spotting the first two months, and breast tenderness. But these symptoms seem to be fading just like my acne. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who thinks they may have hormonal acne. I only wish I had tried it sooner!"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Acne "I went on Beyaz to get rid of my acne, and in the first couple weeks I saw immediate results, which was wonderful! I haven't noticed any weight gain but I was nauseous every day the first weeks. My sex drive is still pretty normal for me. I would say the only bad side effects that I have is that its made me so emotional! Depressed and anything along those lines, and the nausea but at least my face is clear."

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "Been on Safyral for 6 weeks. I have no complaints. I've never been on birth control but had to go on it due to bleeding for 2 months straight really heavily. My bleeding stopped, I've not had any mood changes, weight gain, acne, or anything. It's regulated my periods and now I'm back to normal. It's been a great first experience with birth control."

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I started taking this birth control a while back and then stopped after I completed one cycle. I did have a little weight gain because of the carbohydrate cravings. Breast tenderness and bloating were also a factor. Those were my negatives. The positives for me were age related. I am over 35 and a non-smoker. Therefore, the extra vitamin B and folic acid supplements are excellent. I did stop taking them after the first trial because of the food cravings. After a few months, I decided to try them again. I am on a weight loss plan and have loss weight. I wasn't significantly overweight from the beginning, but needed to drop about fifteen pounds. I reached my goal. My only real concern at this point is will I have the cravings. "

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "So far I have been on Beyaz for 4 months and have not had any issues. Acne-wise: I have minimal acne but I do get have hormonal cystic acne which is painful and bothersome. Since being on Beyaz for the past 4 months, I have not had any huge cystic breakouts before or after my period! So far so good! Weight gain: Within the first month of taking Beyaz I didn't have much of an appetite (no changes in diet) and lost maybe about 5-6 lbs in a month but my body must have gotten use to the pill because I gained that all back within the next month (no changes in diet). Thankful I have not had any of the major side effects such as severe cramping or bloating, swelling of ankles, hair loss (my hair is already thin so I can't really say if that had an effect or not). So far so good."

For Birth Control "I switched from Beyaz to this generic form and will be going back to Beyaz. There's something in the ingredients that I'm reacting to. I've gone up a cup size and my boobs swell for no reason...I eat something salty and I'm instantly bloated and my boobs retain water. I can't lose weight. I get emotional before my period (crying, feeling insane anxiety, cramps) and during my period, but like in an unhinged way. I gave it some time (9 months) for my body to get used to the hormones and was hoping my boobs would go back to normal size but they haven't and I feel fat and emotional. Beyaz is better."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I'm just starting my 3rd week of BeYaz and after reading some of the scary side effects I was very hesitant to take it. My doctor assured me that it was safe and that it was one of her favorite pills & she actually took it herself. The first few days were ok, then I started noticing I got nauseous about an hour after taking it. I was taking it in the evening a few hours after dinner. My mother suggested taking it with yogurt. So I switched and began taking it at lunch with a yogurt and I have had no additional nausea. I have been more tired than normal, but due to other things going on right now, I can't be certain that is from the pill. Overall so far I've had a good experience with this pill & I'm glad my doctor recommended it."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I have been taking beyaz for 3 years. And I love it! I take it religiously! Same time everyday! I have had no problems with it, in fact my periods have became lighter since taking it! Which I love because I hated my period. And my face is so clear! I had bad acne before I started it and I get compliments all the time now about how clear and smooth my face is! And I would recommend this pill to someone who knows they can take it on time everyday, who wants to get rid of their acne, and who doesn't want any kids!"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "The first birth control I was on I gained 15 lbs in 5 months, my doctor switched me to Yaz. I had no weight loss and no side effects other then a decrease in my sexual drive, three months ago I started taking Beyaz. I have gained 12 lbs in 3 months of taking it! Nothing in my daily routine has changed to make me gain that kind of weight."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) "I had never taken birth control until last year. I started on Loestrin and it was okay until the 3rd month when I started cramping almost every day. I started Beyaz after that and am into my third month of it. My periods have been longer and a lot more heavy. I get nauseated all the time now no matter the time of day and I'm not pregnant. I get hungry more frequently and have gained some weight. I also have a lot of headaches. I'm going to try something new again. Beyaz just isn't for me."

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) "This drug did regulate my period, but it also increased my anxiety and sent me to the ER with a massive panic attack. I have always had minor generalized anxiety disorder, but never any panic attacks so severe. They did every test possible to rule out a stroke! If you take this and start to notice an increase in anxiety, I suggest you talk to your doctor."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "This is the 2nd month that I have been on this pill. My doctor put me on it because I have such horrendous cramps every month and he thought this would help. It has not. Since I've been on this pill, I have had my period every two weeks for the same amount of time I normally have it (3-4 days) along with the awful awful cramps. I see such good reviews about this and wonder why my body isn't reacting well to it. Wondering if anyone else has had the same experience and wondering if it will work itself out. I can't see doc until August 7th."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I was scared to take Beyaz because of some of the reviews I had but I’m so glad I did. I was diagnosed with mild PCOS and was having irregular spotting and pelvic cramps from it, after 2 months of being on it my pelvic cramps and irregular bleeding have gone away. My periods are now lighter and I have less cramping. I did experience a breakout when I first started taking it but it wasn’t too bad and it eventually went away within a couple of weeks. I definitely recommend this birth control and it hasn’t caused me anything bad for me so far!"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for almost 3 weeks more for endometriosis. So far I am tired all the time, my breasts have increased a size and are constantly sore. I am hot most of the time (I am normally cold) and my sex drive has increased. I was placed on this because I am having unbearable cramping and pain when having sex. I am unable to afford the Laproscopy at this time so my doctor has placed me on Beyaz. The pains have gone from an 11 to about a 2, YAY! So far I have not had any pains during sex. I know that I still need to have this procedure and that this pill will not eliminate the problem but it is a great help. Just wish the pain in my breast would stop!"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I've been on Beyaz since September 2013 after switching from the Depo Shot. I love the pill, however, I get really bad cramps when my period comes. Not sure if it's because my body is still adjusting to being off the shot or what."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "So far it's been a lot better than I expected. I have been dreading going on hormonal birth control, but after a failed experience with my Paragard IUD, I gave Beyaz a try. I haven't gained any weight at all- this was my biggest fear and I'm so happy it didn't come true. My stomach is flat and unbloated. My boobs have increased in size- they just feel nice and full but not sore! Sometimes I do feel a little blue, and my sex drive is definitely lower. My libido is at about 90% when I am with my boyfriend. My acne has gotten much worse, but they say this happens at first and then clear skin follows. Period has been light and no cramps!"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for a year and half and I've loved it! I had moderate acne before taking Beyaz and now I only breakout like once a month (it's usually only 2-3 pimples). My period went from a medium/heavy 7 days to light 3-4 days. I hardly have cramps or bloating. I love it. I sometimes get a little emotional but I contribute that to being 18 years old. The only real negative side effect that I could say that I have about Beyaz is that it's somewhat costly, my insurance doesn't cover it. But since I've loved all that its done for me, I choose to pay it. I would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a new birth control."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I was taking Yaz and it worked amazing for me but about 2 months ago I was put on Beyaz and have had a yeast infection both months. I have not had sex in over 6 months, this is the only possible explanation for my yeast infections."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Acne "From 18 years old until 24 (my current age) I used to have oily skin and all-over breakouts on my face and upper back. I was on Proactiv forever and finally was fed up with the ridiculous cost and little results. I asked my doc to put my on a BC that would address my acne issue and she chose Beyaz. I have never had terrible deep cystic acne, but rather constant red bumps/pimples and under the skin bumps. The first 3 months of taking Beyaz, I noticed less above the skin acne but more deep painful bumps. However, after the 3 month mark, my skin DRASTICALLY improved. It's smooth and clear. I get an occasional breakout here and there but holy smokes. I have no negative outcomes- no weight gain and no crazy hormonal outbursts. TRY THIS!!!!!"

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Acne "Beyaz saved my skin. Literally. I always had nice skin as a teenager with the occasional, mild breakout. But about 10 months after I turned 21, I broke out in hormonal acne. It legitimately covered my entire face except the sides of my cheeks. I seriously tried everything before my mom finally suggested birth control. I was skeptical because I feared I would gain weight, but desperate for clean skin again I decided to try it. My doctor told me it would probably make my skin worse before it made it better, which it did, but after 3 months I saw good results. Now, at a little over 5 months, my skin is almost as clear as it was before. It takes a little bit of time, but it's so worth it. It also didn't effect my weight. So grateful for Beyaz!"

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I just finished my first pack. The pros: I've lost 13lbs, my face is less oily, and my mood is better then it was. The cons: I too craved sugar after starting this pill, I had hair loss the first few weeks, my vision has became a problem especially in florescent lighting, started having headaches, I feel more tired and breathing has become heaver then normal, and breast tenderness. Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I'm about to finish my first pack and I have mixed reviews. During the first 2 weeks I was craving sugar like crazy. About the third week that calmed down though. I started taking Safyral because I was having break through bleeding with LoEstrin and already Safryal has regulated my period to just the week of my placebo pills. My period started late, but that's not a big deal considering this is my first month on this birth control. The most annoying side effect is the bloating. I don't think I've ever felt this bloated ever and I NEVER get cramps on my period, but I'm having cramps with this pill. I'm sure these symptoms will calm down as my body gets used to it, if not, I'm switching to something different."

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "Two months ago I started taking Safyral because my doctor had high recommendations and gave me three packs for free. I took it for a month and started feeling uncontrollably moody. I want to cry for no reason, and everything I used to love makes me angry and upset. I switched back to my normal birth control after the first pack was done, but then decided to give it another chance since it is free and I wasn't positive that it was the Safyral making me feel this way. Right now I am on my second pack and feel horrible, moody, irritable. On the plus side my breasts got bigger and I'm not pregnant. I'm finishing this pack then switching back to my original again."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "I use to be on Yaz until the price got so high. I switched to a different one for a few months had awful side effects so my year check up came and my doctor recommended Beyaz. I have been on it for almost a year. And my sex drive is almost completely gone and I'm more moody on the pill than off. It's crazy. But I don't have any headaches anymore. Had no weight gain and no cramping or back aches on my period."

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium) for Birth Control "The only reason I got on Beyaz was because I developed 2 very large ovarion cysts. My doctor recommended the pill to reduce ovulation wihich would only make the cyst bigger. I was scared that I was going to gain weight. At first I hated the pill because I bleed very lightly for an entire month. My doctor said that was normal for the first month. Then I noticed that my skin was clearing up really nicely. I didn't notice any weight gain, but the best part was Beyaz sorted my monthly cramps. I was so relieved. The only thing I can say that I don't like about Byaz is that if I miss a pill and take it when I remember it seems like over the next 2 or 3 days my acne flares up really bad, and I hate that. Just stay consistent, I recommend it 100%."
