Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I am 27 years old and started taking Beyaz a few months ago. I was extremely hesitant about taking this because I was so, -SO- afraid of gaining weight. I have taken other pills in the past that have caused weight gain, nausea, bloating, etc., but this pill has proven me wrong, I have had no side effects. It's actually a bit shocking. I'm so glad my doctor recommended this to me."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I went on Beyaz 3 months ago and just finished the third pack. I was noticing that I was always tired, nauseous, bloated, stomach pains, and eating all the time. I too thought I was in the early stages of pregnancy because of these symptoms. I started taking the pill because of horrible period cramps that would make me so sick and incapable of doing anything, it helped. Then I started getting really depressed out of nowhere, feeling sad for no reason, trapped in my own body, and then that led to anxiety attacks and anxiety about when is the next time I will have this terrible feeling again. Because of that and not being able to sleep, I am done with this pill! Thanks to everyone for sharing, I feel comforted to know I wasn't going crazy."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "This is my first time on BC, and after researching many different brands, I’m glad I was put on this one. Reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant but decided to give it a try and find out how my own experience would go. The first month was rough. Actually, the first week I noticed an extreme difference in my irritability/anxiety. I would get frustrated and annoyed at the drop of a dime. I would cry for absolutely no reason at all. I also experienced nausea and headaches on a daily basis, but they eventually went away on their own, my body took some time to adjust, but I can say that this form of birth control works well for me. I take it at the same time every day and have had lighter, shorter periods with almost no cramping. Prior to BC, I had heavier periods and days where I couldn’t even get out of bed due to horrible cramps. My advice: don’t focus too much on the reviews. 9/10 times, people will write a NEGATIVE experience as opposed to a positive one."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "The birth control pills I tried before Beyaz made me so emotionally crazy. My academics and social life crumbled to pieces. After stopping those pills, my gynecologist suggested Beyaz since I have a history of anxiety and depression, and I am so glad he did. Because of my history and how hormones mess with those conditions, if Beyaz had the same mentally severe side effects, I would be forced to forgo birth control altogether. But now my life is back on track, and I deal with no emotional or hormonal effects from this pill, no nausea, no weight gain, and only headaches that went away after 2-3 months. Thank you, Beyaz."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I was on Beyaz for one month and had to switch. It made me tired and nauseous. It gave me the worst headaches. They would last all day, and Advil did not take the pain away. Maybe if I waited the whole 3 months, it would've straightened out, but I just couldn't deal with the awful headaches. But like everyone says, everyone's body is different. Only pro: my mild acne seemed to clear up."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Acne "I'm 35, a mom of 2. I had acne as a teen, and Accutane cleared it up. Then I didn't have any issues with acne in my 20s. It progressively got worse after I had my second child. Spiro didn't help. I finally decided to get back on BC to see if that would work. I started taking Beyaz 3 weeks ago. I noticed my skin was less oily the 1st week. In the 2nd week, I noticed there were no new pimples (where there would usually be a new one or more daily!), and now in the 3rd week, my skin is glowing. Like, actually pretty. It's not been this clear in years. I've not had any of the typical side effects so far (no nausea, weight gain, or reduced sex drive). So far I love it! Give this a try if you're struggling with adult acne!"

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for several years (3+). When I first started using the pill, I experienced frequent nausea for almost a year. I gradually switched the time of dosage to the evening upon recommendation from my obgyn. The nausea did clear up. I virtually have no acne. Within the first few years, I did have lighter periods (3-5 day bleeding with minimal cramping). However, in my fourth year of being on this pill, I have been getting my period for only a day. Most times I skip a period entirely. This is due to the thin uterine lining. I did, however, develop severe mood swings and panic attacks, which I suffer from daily. I also have had some hair thinning and some weight gain. Loss of libido at first, but it did return after the 1st year."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I have only been on Beyaz for a week, but I have noticed a significant decrease in appetite. I have already lost weight on this pill. So far, I have noticed increased minor headaches and nausea the first few days. So far, I really like this pill, the last pill I was on made me gain weight, and I was very emotional. Hope it continues to be a good pill for me."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I've been on Beyaz for almost a year. Since then, I've gone through times of weight gain and loss, which could just be my body's normal function. Recently, I have noticed aversions to certain foods, nausea, severe migraines, and lack of sleep. I haven't noticed a change in sex drive. My skin is flawless, but recently I've had severe migraines."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "One of the better experiences with birth control I've had. Granted, I still experienced side effects like some mood swings in the beginning (nothing too severe) and nausea, possibly some related constipation. However, it kept my PMDD symptoms confined to shorter periods of time (a day or two every month or so, as opposed to 3-5 days every month). Breakthrough bleeding was a problem on it after a while, but that could be related to skipping placebos. Compared to other birth control pills I've been on which have sent me into manic/depressive cycles, this has been the best for my body. For comparison, I don't do well with any birth control pills containing northindrone."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I was on Yaz a few years ago until I couldn't afford it anymore. I absolutely loved it. My face was clear, my period was light, and it worked magic on my absolutely unbearable cramps. I've been on Beyaz for a month now, and I am not really seeing the same things I saw with Yaz just yet. I was really nauseous for the first two weeks, my face is still breaking out (not because of the pill), cramps aren't bad but have not disappeared, and my sex drive has decreased. I'm hoping this is just for the first month and things get better down the line."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I just finished month 2 of Beyaz and am hoping things get better after month 3. I have had just about every side effect that has been listed except for the mood swings. I have gained quite a bit of weight. In the first few weeks of taking Beyaz, I was very nauseous and vomited a few times. I have daily headaches. I have zero sex drive, and the thought of sex makes me ill when I am usually very sexually active. Thank goodness I have an understanding partner. I am unbelievably tired no matter how much sleep I get. I normally have acne on a regular basis, but it hasn't gotten worse, but I am patiently waiting for it to get better. I will continue to take Beyaz as recommended by my doctor for at least another 2 months and hope things get better."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Acne "I went on Beyaz to get rid of my acne, and in the first couple of weeks, I saw immediate results, which was wonderful! I haven't noticed any weight gain, but I was nauseous every day the first weeks. My sex drive is still pretty normal for me. I would say the only bad side effects that I have are that it's made me so emotional! Depressed and anything along those lines, and the nausea, but at least my face is clear."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium "I had never taken birth control until last year. I started on Loestrin, and it was okay until the 3rd month when I started cramping almost every day. I started Beyaz after that and am into my third month of it. My periods have been longer and a lot more heavy. I get nauseated all the time now, no matter the time of day, and I'm not pregnant. I get hungry more frequently and have gained some weight. I also have a lot of headaches. I'm going to try something new again. Beyaz just isn't for me."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "It took 2-3 months for everything to regulate, but now that I've been on it for almost a year, I love it. My cramps aren't as bad, bleeding is much lighter than it used to be, hormones are 1,000 times more steady, and best of all: only 4 periods per year! The only drawback is that I get random menstrual-like cramps, but they're very light, don't even need to take ibuprofen; it's more of a small annoyance than anything. I haven't gained weight, but my face has broken out some over the past 1-2 months; it didn't for the longest time, so I'm not sure whether there's a correlation to the Beyaz or not. I take it at night because if I take any kind of birth control in the morning, I feel extremely dizzy/nauseous all day. Overall, an awesome choice!"

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I'm just starting my 3rd week of Beyaz, and after reading some of the scary side effects, I was very hesitant to take it. My doctor assured me that it was safe and that it was one of her favorite pills, and she actually took it herself. The first few days were okay, then I started noticing I got nauseous about an hour after taking it. I was taking it in the evening, a few hours after dinner. My mother suggested taking it with yogurt. So I switched and began taking it at lunch with yogurt, and I have had no additional nausea. I have been more tired than normal, but due to other things going on right now, I can't be certain that is from the pill. Overall, so far I've had a good experience with this pill, and I'm glad my doctor recommended it."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for a week now. Before that, I had an IUD, which was removed after four years because of severe pain. The only side effect I really notice at this point is nausea throughout the day, and I feel tired all day. I have a history of depression and anxiety with panic attacks. I don't notice any difference with those symptoms so far. The nausea is really bad around the afternoon every day, even though I take it at night. Since this is only my first week, I'm going to stick it out and see what happens this month!"

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Acne "I was on Loloestrin Fe for about 4 years before switching to Beyaz. I loved Loloestrin, but randomly started breaking out all over my neck and chin. After trying every topical solution out there, I finally decided to switch pills, although I was terrified of gaining weight. I'm now on my second month of Beyaz, and it has literally been the best thing to ever happen to me. I broke out pretty bad at first, but my acne has DRAMATICALLY improved. I actually lost weight, my libido is up, and no dramatic mood swings. The only thing is that I've been spotting between my periods, but that's expected the first couple of months. Also, I'll have random nausea, but it quickly goes away. Everyone's different, but give Beyaz a try! It may change your life."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "This is my first time using birth control pills. I have been on Safyral for a month and a half. It has cleared up my skin significantly but caused bad mood swings and nausea. I am switching to a new birth control with a lower dose of hormones to help with my mood."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium "I'm not sure if it is just me or not, but I had a terrible experience on this pill. I didn't even finish my first pack, and I had to quit taking it. I got terrible migraines every single day, and it would make me sick to my stomach. It also made me completely crazy. The smallest things would set me off. The day after I stopped taking the pill, my migraines disappeared and my moods were back in check."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder "I am 21, and when I started this birth control, I took it to relieve horrible periods due to what I believe is endometriosis, with intense pain that led to passing out and heavy bleeding-horrible! This pain has stopped, which is great, and my acne stayed about the same as before-minor, not any worse. But the last month I have been on it, a new symptom has arisen that is causing me to switch: the worst nausea I have ever had. I take it at night, and I wake up in the morning almost unable to do anything. Also, I now get carsick and never have before, and it has increased my anxiety. I should mention I do have Hashimoto's thyroid disease, which may contribute to my experience. I will be switching to Microgestin to see if I can be more comfortable."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I have been on Beyaz for only 5 days. My doctor recommended it knowing that I am a smoker, but I'm only 25. I already had a tubal ligation, so Beyaz is for hormones and acne. I feel very nauseous and have severe migraines, loss of appetite, extremely tired, also, I have a nasty taste in my mouth that just won't go away, no matter how much I brush, floss, or use mouthwash. I'm not sure if I could handle these side effects, being a 2 and 3. Working full-time, I have to have the most energy possible. These side effects don't help."

For Acne "I have been on Sandoz brand for a month and a half now, and my experience was terrible. No help whatsoever with my acne, migraines every single week, constant, no pain reliever worked. My eyesight started to worsen to the point where I swear my eyes are crossing. I already had IBS before I started these pills, but they have made my symptoms unbearable (abdominal pain, nausea, constipation), so painful I actually got prescribed meds for it. I have been so tired, falling asleep at 4-5 pm and waking up at 6 am the next morning. I would wake up in the middle of the night starving, then I would eat, thus making me gain weight. Everyone's experiences are different, so just pay attention and stop them immediately, it's really not worth it."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Birth Control "I’m 19, 5’7’’ and weigh 135 lbs, and I’ve been on birth control since I was 16. My periods were so bad ever since they started. I bled so much, but it only lasted about 3-4 days. I would get really bad hot flashes and deep aching cramps with my periods (even on birth control). My hormones were all over the place. I’m on my 3rd pack (I skip my periods). I was scared to go back on birth control because of how nauseous and crazy I felt on my other type. I have not had anything negative happen so far with Beyaz. I’m pretty sure I’ve lost a pound or two, haven’t had any period bleeding or symptoms (bye-bye hot flashes), my boobs are very tender and have grown like 2 cup sizes, they’ve grown so much that I feel like they’re in the way now, lol. Well, with bigger boobs comes forth a very excited boyfriend, but now I literally have no sex drive. I feel bad, haha. I used to, but now I don’t. Overall, I 10/10 recommend. It’s a game changer."

Drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium for Acne "Beyaz has helped with my sudden outbreak of adult acne, just like my previous birth control I got off of over a year ago. However, my period cramps are about the same as if I wasn't on birth control at all. No severe side effects, but would like to see improvement in this area. Slight nausea when first taking it at night, but taking it in the morning with food seemed to eliminate the nausea. Not bad, but could be better."
