For Cough "My 17-year-old had a terrible constant cough for 2-3 days. I found an unopened bottle of Delsym I didn't know we had. He slept soundly and didn't start coughing for about 11 hours. Next 3 doses every 12 were amazing. Best cough solution ever. Will not go back to Robitussin."

For Cough "The pharmacist recommended this OTC for a cough I have with a cold. It is very effective as a colonoscopy prep, as it gave me diarrhea as a side effect! Couple that with the cough I still have, one dose is enough for me to not take more of this medication. It worked effectively as a laxative, within 4 hours, the cough is still present, and this medication is being returned to CVS for a refund. If I had read the reviews, I would not have purchased this medication."

For Cough "The label with dosage information is not clear. Under the last bottle I bought, the label was very clear: 10 ml not to exceed 6 doses per day. The new bottle dosage says: 20 ml every 12 hours. So which is it? 10 as needed, or 20 every 12 hours? Plus, the direction information is under one of those 'peel corner...' tabs. It is very difficult to peel the corner off without destroying the dosage information and directions. I had to call a pharmacist to get an answer as to how much I should take. The first pharmacist said 2 tbsp = 10 ml. Then another said 2 tsp = 10 ml. Very confusing label."

For Cough "Took Delsym 12 hour cough, and after about 2 hours, got terrible stomach pains and diarrhea. It wasn't very good at suppressing my cough either! Be warned, I would never take it again!"
