Mucinex (guaifenesin) for Bronchitis: "I have used it twice now. And it feels like it makes me worse. I cough so hard that my back and my stomach is now hurting. My cough is so deep and nothing is coming up. It just makes me cough non-atop. However I'm not taking any today I'm also not coughing so I put the two together when you take it it makes you cough unfortunately in my case nothing came up"

For Bronchitis: "I have a blood condition that keeps me in a constant state of allergic reaction and precludes me from using any of the common cold medicines that contain pseudoephedrine (claratin "D" for example) or dextromethorphan (like Robitussin "DM") Guaifenesin seems to work wonderfully so far. Taking two tablets at night with a large glass of water actually allows me to breathe and sleep much better."

Mucinex Maximum Strength (guaifenesin) for Cough: "I take an MAOI so I can't use decongestants. I take Mucinex when I start getting a cold or flu. It relieves my cough and congestion, keeps my lungs clear. Yes, it gives me a runny nose but that's what it's supposed to do, thin the mucous so you can get rid of it. My coughs are fewer and those I have are productive. Drinking a lot of water of other liquid is essential. I suspect some of the negative reviews are from folks who didn't drink enough. Personally I would recommend giving it a try, with lots of fluids."

For Bronchitis: "For everyone that suffers from allergies, I highly recommend this product: Mucinex DM 1200 mg guaifenesin. I'm using the 12 hour extended release tablets, I've had allergies for over 10 years and nothing really worked. I felt dizzy and nauseous at times but then as my body adjusted to it it cleared my years of gunk. Whenever headache comes on drink water, I'm happy to share this because, I've suffered a lot and was not enjoying quality of life, please do try it. God bless."

Mucinex (guaifenesin) for Bronchitis: "I read many reviews some positive and some negative. But people need to remember it will work for some and others it won't. In the 80's my allergist prescribed "Guaifenesin" for me. It really was the best for me. Then it was taken off the market for a while. Several months I was looking for something to help me with my congestion and allergies. Found Mucinex and have been using it as needed and I feel great."

Mucinex (guaifenesin) for Cough: "I had the flu and night coughing was keeping the family from sleeping. I tried everything!! This worked the first night. I noticed it made my throat feel dry & sore. Drink plenty of water."

Mucinex (guaifenesin) for Cough: "Worked well after I started guzzling water. It did nothing before that. Thing is, nowhere on the liquid Musinex DM packaging does it say to ensure to drink lots of water. If water is essential to its effectiveness, I’d think the company would want folks to get plenty hydrated. This method combined with an inhaler to calm coughing spasms and I feel progress in kicking my flu remnants. Good luck."

Mucinex (guaifenesin) for Bronchitis: "I'm reading a lot of reports of Mucinex making people feel worse, as is the case with me. The main ingredient apparently thins down your mucus so basically, while already sick, this medicine gives you a runny nose. I've taken Mucinez twice and both same results."

For Fibromyalgia: "I have been on protocol for almost a year. I was a patient of Dr St Amand who has mapped me three times. He said I cleared almost 75% and up my dose at 7 months. I have since been in agony. Ligaments and tendons tight and painful. Muscles constantly aching and stiff. Fatigue and pain off the charts. I would rather manage my occasional flair than try to do this so I am discontinuing. Very disappointed."

For Fibromyalgia: "Following 6 months of chronic pain and fatigue, I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in September 2017. I'm a 19 year old male. I was bed ridden and felt my life was over. I found the Guaifenesin Protocol after many hours of Google Research. It works exactly as it says. I was completely pain and fatigue free for 3 days after the 4th day of taking it. I spiralled back into it until about a week ago. I am completely pain and fatigue free. I'm getting my life back. Thank goodness for Dr. St. Armand's Protocol. It seriously works!"

For Fibromyalgia: "I had been a healthy active male with no previous health issues. In 2000 I experienced a very minor injury which all on its own progressed until all of my muscles, tendons, and deep tissues were wracked with pain...10/10. I could not sleep for more than a few hours and I could not stay awake for more than a few hours. My life was destroyed. After prolonged testing I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Amitryptaline only masked the pain, but I've had to increase the dosage over the years and the fogginess in my head was terrible. A month ago I tried Mucinex 2x/day and the pain and fatigue and fog have since evaporated! I can run long distance again!!! No pain; no fatigue. I feel like Rip VanWinkle...where did the last 16 years go?"

Mucinex (guaifenesin) for Bronchitis: "Jayce Wyatt My chronic bronchitis started out with post-nasal drip and a cough and I felt tired and turned in early. The next day the cough got worse and I felt lousy, so I called in sick. I felt steadily worse for another day, then on day three the fever started, and I couldn't sleep for more than an hour or so at a time for a whole week. When I went to the doctor I was given a Z-Pak, albuterol inhaler (the only thing that did me any good), oral steroids, cough pearls which didn't do any good, and was told to take Mucinex. In all, the fever lasted six days. I coughed so much I hurt my back and ended up in the emergency room because my back went into such spasms I couldn't move without extreme pain. They shot me full of morphine."

For Bronchitis: "I have ferocious allergies to all kinds of plants, mould, dust, etc. One of my most annoying symptoms is drainage in the back of my throat. Taking benadryl or some other "drying" agent results in the drainage forming into a very unpleasant glob on the top of my soft palate, which can be very difficult to dislodge. My allergist's RN recommended guaifenesin for the problem, and it works wonders. Specifically, it tends to keep the drainage more liquid, making it easier to expel (although getting it out still sounds quite gross ...)"

Mucinex (guaifenesin) for Cough: "Out of a dozen over the counter and homebrew/natural remedies for persistent cough (which lasted well after any other symptoms of the cold virus/mild flu that I experienced a month or more ago) that I tried, Mucinex DM is the only one to give me any real relief from an urge to cough thru the day. I sleep just fine but don't feel anything like post nasal drip, or acid reflux or any obvious culprit. I did go to the clinic that I could afford to, got a shot, an inhaler and an antibiotics script. That worked a bit, for about a week, but when the cough came back, Mucinex did just about the same job. Not a perfect solution by any means but when I compared it to the other brands of things tried it was fine"
