For Chlamydia Infection "Had to take this medicine about 9 years ago due to a chlamydia infection. Now, after making a stupid decision and 2 kids later, I'm taking it again. I get hot flashes, severe stomach cramps, and lovely diarrhea. The medicine does get rid of the infection, though. Symptoms last for me about 4 hours."

For Chlamydia Infection "Let me tell you, I will always use a condom. Boyfriend cheated on me for 4 months. I found out and got tested... cue the chlamydia. My doctor gave me two azithromycin pills. I ate a light meal and took them. I also took a Zofran an hour before as a precaution. The Zofran didn't help. I was crying on the floor to my mom and writhing in pain. The worst stomach pains I've ever had. I was nauseous for about 2 hours, fighting the urge to throw up because I didn't want to take them again. Stomach made the most horrendous noises. Luckily it's subsided, I took a warm shower and now I'm in bed contemplating all life decisions that led up to that moment. Can't say how I'll be feeling over the next few days, but so far the experience was not it, y'all."

For Chlamydia Infection "I only found out that my very long-term boyfriend was cheating on me because he gave me chlamydia. I took the four 250 mg pills in the doctor's office yesterday around 3:30. At 4 pm I had severe stomach cramping. I felt nauseous and thought that maybe it was just because I didn't eat enough before taking them. I had no appetite, but I managed to eat a little bit. I have constantly felt like I was going to have diarrhea, but nothing or little comes out. Today is day two, and I've had weird blurred vision, dizziness, and a headache along with more cramping and stomach pain. Still no appetite, and I'm extremely sleepy. It hasn't helped chlamydia symptoms-still itching and discomfort and discharge. Hopefully, something will give soon."

For Chlamydia Infection "I found out I had chlamydia because my partner told me he tested positive, and I should get checked out. I tested positive, and I was prescribed two 500 mg pills of azithromycin. I was told to eat and take the pill on a full stomach. So I ate a meal and took the pill immediately. Ten minutes after taking the pill, I immediately began to salivate and vomited everything in my stomach and had the absolute worst stomach pains I’ve ever had in my life. It was like someone holding my rib and twisting. I called my doctor immediately and had my prescription refilled. My second go-around, I ate a meal and waited about an hour before I took the pills again. I drank tons of water before and after and kept a lollipop on standby to help with the salivating. I’m about three hours in post-pill, and so far, I feel okay. Slightly bloated but no pain. It’s absolutely not worth it, and I hope this pill works so I never have to do this again."

For Chlamydia Infection "Took one dose of 1000 mg as directed at 9:30 a.m. Hadn't eaten since 6 a.m., but ate straight after because I was so hungry. No issues to report except for sudden but brief sharp stomach pains 3 hours later with horrific diarrhea, but nothing else since. Seems like a better alternative to the week-long course of another drug I had to take many years ago that had horrid side effects, including a rash! (Same person for those who judge the promiscuous-this STI is everywhere, so if you start a new relationship or get back with an ex, make sure you get tested regardless!) Plus, it seems to be some kind of hyped-up laxative, so if you need to lose a few pounds along with your chlamydia, then this is your perfect drug!"

For Lyme Disease, Erythema Chronicum Migrans "Always helpful treatment when I experience chronic Lyme and Mycoplasma pneumonia -- 250 mg best since I also have Crohn's disease, always have an abdominal reaction, often diarrhea as I dose for a day or two, and after 3 to 5 days, less intestinal discomfort. And, another side effect, neuropathic tingling while dosing and resolves as the bacterial load reduces. Very helpful drug treatment if pulmonary compromise from M. pneumonia, sometimes additional rounds of treatment for 10-21 days."

For Bronchitis "I've taken this several times over the years and had no problems at all, but the last two times -- awful!!! I am not going to finish them this time. I'd rather be sick. Stomach hurts like I'm starving, but if I eat it hurts worse. I feel like I'm going to puke all the time. Last night in bed, for no reason, my heart was smashing out of my chest, just pounding. I am miserable. My legs were crazy restless the last couple of days since I've been on this, too. I forgot something, but bottom line, the stomach pain is more than I can stand."

For Chlamydia Infection "2 pills for a total dose of 1000 mg. Was fine until 10 the next morning, when the cramps and stomach pain started. Threw up at midday, and my stomach and lower abdomen felt like they'd been twisted into knots. Sore to the touch. Had loose stool. Constant feeling like I needed the bathroom or to throw up. Threw up again at 11 pm last night and 5 am this morning. Only 3 hours sleep because I couldn't get comfortable from the pain, no position helps. Woke up hungry and less cramps this morning. Feel ok now except for being super tired and scared to eat in case I vomit again. I am drinking lots of water and took some indigestion tablets, anti-diarrhea tablets, and paracetamol. Test results here take over 3 weeks to arrive, so might be taking it all for nothing, as I won't know for sure if I had it or not until much later. But, better safe than sorry. Definitely not fun, better work the first time!"

For Sinusitis "Worst drug ever. First day dose was fine. Second day I woke up the next morning and had bad stomach pain with diarrhea. I felt so weak I didn't even have energy to wipe. Had to take 2 Tylenols and felt better after sleep. I did not finish the Zpack because I would much rather be sick than feel how that drug made me feel. It's been 3 days since I discontinued, and I still have watery diarrhea and some pain in my stomach."

For Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis "I'm on my 3rd day of this medication for strep throat and take it on a full stomach every day. I haven't had any stomach pain or diarrhea, which I usually get with antibiotics, and no weird metallic taste in my mouth either. The only downside is it takes a bit longer to work than most antibiotics, so my throat was killing me until halfway through the day after taking the third pill. Aside from that, no side effects and I'm feeling much better now! My tonsil is still a little swollen, but most of the pus is gone and no more pain."

For Chlamydia Infection "Was prescribed two 500 mg azithromycin pills. I took the first at 6 pm that night and took the second at 6 am. (Apparently, I was supposed to take both at the same time.) About 30 minutes after taking the first pill, I began having stomach pains followed by intense watery diarrhea. This lasted a couple of hours. That night was horrible. I was overheating and sweating profusely. I woke up with the alarm to take the second pill and went back to sleep after adjusting my pillows (it was soaked through from sweat). When I woke again, I felt very weak. The weakness lasted the entire second day. I was still feeling hot from within. Frequent urges to urinate followed. At that point, I knew I was on the verge of severe dehydration. I managed enough energy to go to the store for Gatorade. I was so weak I wanted to come home. I had to talk myself into going into the store. Again, I felt so hot, sweaty, and weak. This was worse than any flu I’ve ever had. Avoid this medication if possible."

For Chlamydia Infection "Oh man. I would recommend people to just practice safe sex! This medication works, but the price you may have to take for not practicing safe sex with it is hell! Stomach pain and nausea out of this world, and it seems like the side effects will last forever. Mine lasted for about 2 hours, and I still feel bad, but once you take the medication and get through the side effects, it's over! Just remember, no glove, no love lol."

For Chlamydia Infection "I found out I had chlamydia on Tuesday and took two 500 mg tablets. I read the side effects and got a little scared but didn't think much of it because I usually have a strong stomach. I had taken the pill at around 5 pm and by 9 pm I had the worst stomach pain and diarrhea. Although the diarrhea did stop, it is now Friday 8:50 am and I have vomited 3 times. For Chlamydia Infection "So I took the 4 pink pills around 8:30 pm. I had a small meal with cut-up small chicken like a half hour after I took the pills, and I would say 10-15 minutes after the meal, I threw up all the chicken. It was so terrible. For Bacterial Infection "Second time taking this medication. The first for an upper respiratory infection, this time a tooth infection. First time I took the medicine, I had the worst stomach pains and diarrhea. Read online that eating probiotic yogurt before you take the med, no stomach pains will happen... IT WORKS! Had no problem the rest of the week. This time my dentist prescribed it for a tooth infection. Well, I didn't realize it was the same devil medicine from before. Took the pill, ate Waffle House, puked 1.5 hours later. Took a nap. Stomach feels a little better but still a little queasy."

For Chlamydia Infection "Rating this on my experience so far, not sure if it totally got rid of it yet. Got chlamydia using a condom with a long-time hookup I thought was monogamous with me, how swell, right? Didn't have symptoms, but a routine test came back positive. Was terrified to take these because I get so sick on antibiotics, but took a few precautions that helped. Started loading up on digestive probiotics right away (waited two days to take the dose because I had a weekend I could not miss from being sick). Waited for a day off, ate a huge meal and loaded up on water. An hour after taking the pills, I felt like I was about to vomit with intense stomach pain. This went away after a two-hour nap. Now I feel fine, just tired and a little crampy."

For Chlamydia Infection "Like everyone else, I took 4 pills of 250 mg to fight chlamydia. It took 1-2 hours before the side effects hit like a rock. My stomach was hurting, and I had diarrhea. After 30 minutes of suffering, I’m feeling a bit better now with my best friend, water, by my side. If I manage it, everyone can. Trust me on that and stay safe, guys. For Chlamydia Infection "My doctor prescribed me two 500 mg pills of Azithromycin. When I took it, I soon felt nauseous and dry-mouthed with painful stomach pain, but it didn't last very long, only like an hour or two. I took a nap, and then when I woke up, I had diarrhea. For Chlamydia Infection "I took the 1000 mg (2 pills) azithromycin. I had a bad stomach for about a month (diarrhea). No vomiting, no nausea. Very loose stools. Got very annoying. My chlamydia symptoms went away after 4 days, but did not clear my infection. Went to get retested 17 days later and came back positive. Currently taking doxycycline twice for 7 days. I’m on the 5th day, and symptoms are mild but still feeling them. Hope I get right :("

For Chlamydia Infection "Worse medication I ever took. I read these reviews, and most said not to be too worried, it wasn’t that bad. I took two 500 mg pills for one day after I ate a good meal. I got drowsy and fell asleep, then woke up to one of the worse stomach pains I ever felt and was trying not to vomit. I then had to go home. On my way home, I pooped on myself, and I pulled over on the side of the highway and pooped on the side of the highway. I made it home, and now I am very nauseous."
