For Chlamydia Infection "Went in the first time and was prescribed four 250 mg pills. I ate a full meal before taking them, and I was perfectly fine. But this is my second time taking it (same dosage). I didn’t eat before taking it, and now I have sharp stomach pains and need to throw up. I tried eating something after I’ve taken them, but I could not even eat due to the pains and wanting to throw up. Make sure you always, always eat before taking these! Or you’ll feel like you’re dying."

For Chlamydia Infection "So I was diagnosed today with chlamydia, and having been in a faithful relationship for nearly four years, I was obviously freaked out I'd had it that long. But anyway, I took four 250 mg in one go at around 7 pm and had stomach pain after around half an hour. It's now 9:30 pm, and I just had one of the worst episodes of diarrhea in my life. I was worried this would affect the drug working, but it seems to be normal, so as long as it gets rid of the chlamydia, it's a small price to pay. Food/drink - mocha 1 hour before taking, bolognese 1 hour after taking. Judging by these reviews, it seems it doesn't matter if you eat or not, you still could get side effects. Worth noting, I didn't throw up, but then I'm not a throwing up type person."

For Chlamydia Infection "So for the first time in my life, I was diagnosed with an STI. Always been kind of oblivious to it, never felt the need to research or even look into it. So I had sex with 3 guys in a space of 4 months. The first one was unprotected, the last two were. I only got symptoms last month. Since I started the contraceptive pill, I didn't think much of the symptoms, as I thought it's just a side effect. Went to get checked out, ta-da, chlamydia. Was really confused, how to be fair. But anywho, an hour after taking the tabs, I was nearly on the phone to the ambulance. I have never in my life experienced such bad stomach pains to the point I was in tears. Felt so sick and really needed to throw up. Tried to eat bland food and then went to sleep. 4 hours after taking the tabs, I still feel sick and dizzy. The condom-free sex just ain't worth it. For Chlamydia Infection "Took 2 500 mg pills of this medication around 10 pm. Soon after, I had very bad stomach pains. Slight nausea, felt very ill. Was super sluggish, and a weird headache. Couldn't get to sleep until about 4:30 am. Then I woke up with a swollen, sore throat that lasted pretty much all day, feeling similar to strep. Stomach pains and nausea were gone, though. Vaginal discharge and smell have pretty much subsided, so I would think it's working. Guess you just have to rough it through the side effects."

For Bacterial Infection "Had to take this medication twice now. Every time, no matter how much I eat with it, I get absolutely some of the worst stomach pains of my life. Everyone is different, and it seems my stomach is particularly sensitive in general. If you have a sensitive stomach, avoid this medication if possible. I’m experiencing the stomach pain and diarrhea right now from only 500 mg, and I am in absolute agony. This is a super consistent side effect for the many doses I have had to unfortunately take. Cured the infection quickly, though."

For Chlamydia Infection "Tested positive for the big C a week ago, currently right in the middle of my treatment at work. The stomach pains are the worst, along with diarrhea and nausea. For Chlamydia Infection "I went in for a check-up and got news this morning I had Chlamydia. I was super sketched out by the powder because I was told I'd be getting 4 pills to take, and it's my first time, so I had no idea what to even think. I mixed it in with my water, chugged it, gagged, and almost puked. I ate immediately after and had to go to work. My stomach started to hurt super bad, and I had to run to the toilet. For Chlamydia Infection "About 15 minutes after taking the 4 pills, I felt very nauseous. I just had to eat some crackers to soothe it, so I didn’t throw up. Then the stomach pains came, and those were super intense. I’ve never experienced anything like this, it was the worst thing I’ve ever been through. When the stomach pains got too much to handle, I had to take a hot shower and just let the water run on my stomach, it helped a lot. I also had diarrhea twice. For Chlamydia Infection "I've been tested for chlamydia (it was positive) last week after I got a new partner, and I took 4 azithromycin tablets for 1 day, and when I tell you these side effects are hell!!!! I just want it to end already... it feels like I'm getting stabbed in the stomach and vagina. Oh, and I'm also on my cycle, so it's 10x worse. For Chlamydia Infection "Took the oral dose (1000 mg Z-Pack) on a Sunday night, and by Wednesday, I was doubled over with severe stomach pain for hours. For Chlamydia Infection "I took 4 pills at the same time, 250 mg, today around 10:30 a.m. I was perfectly fine, and I had eaten a good breakfast with it. Sadly, an hour later, I had the worst stomach pain every five minutes. Kept balling up like a fetus because my stomach was hurting so badly. One minute I was cold, the next, I was hot. My stomach couldn't take it, I had to use the bathroom. It's the worst experience for us as females to go through, but the medicine works, and it will cure us. For Chlamydia Infection "Took the medicine at 10 or 10:30 am, about an hour later my stomach started to hurt. Doctor told me to eat before I took it, and I didn't, well, I had a little bit of rice, BIG MISTAKE. When I arrived at work, that's when the fun really began (being EXTREMELY sarcastic). WORST stomach pain and cramps that I ever had in my life. I was constantly having to bend over and catch a breath and hold my stomach. I was nauseous, but the stomach pain was so unbearable (literally thought I was dying), it lasted for well over 6 hours. Also felt like I was going to faint, my body was so tired. It's now 8:10, and I feel okay, a little tired, but I'll take being tired over the stomach pain and nausea. Hopefully this medicine works, good luck to everyone."

For Bacterial Infection "I was prescribed a 1 g single dose. My urine culture was positive for the bacteria Ureaplasma urealyticum, and I had urinary burning. Two weeks of doxycycline did nothing to the symptoms. So, I took the dose right at the doctor's office and was checked after about 15 minutes for signs of allergic reaction. After that, I was getting progressively 'high,' like I was in a dream. The first day, there was very mild nausea and stomach pain, also gassy. Two days after the dose, my liver began to hurt, up until day 7 post the pills. I also spent two days mostly sleeping, I was so high/relaxed. I can't say that the burning is gone, so I will request additional tests to check for other infections. Everyone, keep in mind that STI clinics only test for the most common or dangerous infections. If you are negative for them but still suspiciously symptomatic, it's time to Google and ask for additional testing. Oh, and I used a condom EVERY. SINGLE. TIME."

For Chlamydia Infection "I got diagnosed for chlamydia, and the next day went and had treatment. If you are scared about taking them because the side effects, don’t worry about it. I ate some food and then took them about 2 hours later. I had four 250mg tablets all in one go, and it's the 4th day now, and I’m absolutely fine. I have had no side effects, no stomach pain, no vomiting. The only thing is I can’t stop farting for some reason! I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but if it does, that’s the least that has happened to me, lol."

For Chlamydia Infection "Had to take this medicine about 9 years ago due to a chlamydia infection. Now, after making a stupid decision and 2 kids later, I'm taking it again. I get hot flashes, severe stomach cramps, and lovely diarrhea. The medicine does get rid of the infection, though. Symptoms last for me about 4 hours."

For Chlamydia Infection "At first, the gynecologist thought I just had BV. So I was put on Flagyl, and she did a swab as well. Two days later, I get a call saying I was positive for BV and Chlamydia. I was put on azithromycin. I took the two tablets as soon as I got home. I had a chicken sandwich with it, and that’s it. Three hours later, I had nausea, about a 6/10 on the bad scale. Then, about 30 minutes after that, I had massive stomach pains. I had my hand on my lower stomach, and it was sharp on-and-off pain. I could feel myself having extreme amounts of discharge, but everything went away within one hour. The next morning, I had dark green stool, but no problem pooing. And a teaspoon amount of light green discharge in my undies, which I changed right before bed so I could see what happened overnight. No discharge at all on day five of starting antibiotics, and three days since taking azithromycin. And no more side effects. Odor is completely gone. I have no insurance, and this cost me $9.67 after tax."

For Chlamydia Infection "To be honest, coming on to this website made me super scared to see what type of effects I’d be getting from this antibiotic. I’m a crazy hypochondriac, with a fear of vomiting, so my nerves were through the roof before taking the pills. I had dinner before taking the pills and felt fine. I felt more sick from nerves before taking the medication rather than after. I did get weird chest and stomach pains from time to time but nothing major. I also got one weird flash of cold sweats and the need to poop. The next morning, I woke up fine and felt normal the rest of the day. This will knock you out right away and have a good night's rest, but it’s not a good idea to take it if you have to get up early the next morning, as you might sleep in a little or it’ll be hard to get up in the morning."

For Chlamydia Infection "Let me tell you, I will always use a condom. Boyfriend cheated on me for 4 months. I found out and got tested... cue the chlamydia. My doctor gave me two azithromycin pills. I ate a light meal and took them. I also took a Zofran an hour before as a precaution. The Zofran didn't help. I was crying on the floor to my mom and writhing in pain. The worst stomach pains I've ever had. I was nauseous for about 2 hours, fighting the urge to throw up because I didn't want to take them again. Stomach made the most horrendous noises. Luckily it's subsided, I took a warm shower and now I'm in bed contemplating all life decisions that led up to that moment. Can't say how I'll be feeling over the next few days, but so far the experience was not it, y'all."

For Chlamydia Infection "I was told to take the 4 pink tablets just in case I do have it, since a guy's previous sexual partner gave him a call and said she tested positive. So I went in for a screening today just in case, and they decided to go ahead and treat me before receiving the lab results. Anyway, I felt exhausted after taking it and ended up taking a long nap. I woke up and then immediately felt the worst stomach pains EVER. Honestly, I feel like I could throw up any second now."

For Chlamydia Infection "I got prescribed the medicine today because my boyfriend figured out he had it from an ex, and I didn't want to wait any longer to treat it.
