Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "In the spirit of Game of Thrones’ final episodes and Arya being a badass, I like to think that were she confronted by the god of death, she would fling a filled applicator of this unholy concoction at death’s face and scream ‘not today!!’ and then the god of death’s face would burn, itch, melt, and burst into a thousand flames of agony. Seriously, it’s like one of Daenerys’s dragons got loose in my vagina and is clawing and fire-breathing on its way out. I know this is very silly, but it’s all I can do to keep from screaming and writhing in my bed like a possessed banshee because this stuff is mutilating my insides. In short, if the doc prescribes you antibiotics, just straight up ask him or her to circumvent the nonsense and prescribe Diflucan while they’re at it because antibiotics lead to yeast and yeast leads to Monistat and Monistat leads to wailing in agony. BRB gonna go put ice cubes up my bajingo now."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I regularly have yeast infections before my period. My period had just ended, and I got a really bad yeast infection, so I ran to Walmart at like 10:30 pm and picked up the 3-day pack. It just had a tube that you inserted for three days, it didn’t come with any cream to help or anything, it just had the tube. The first night, I had to drug myself with pain medication because the pain was SO INTENSE. The second day wasn’t so bad, I took medication before I used the stuff. The third day. The literal third day. I swear my hooha entered the goblet of damn fire. I was on the phone with my husband, and I was CRYING IN PAIN. I ran to the shower to try and clean myself and get everything out. It was so red and swollen, it's insane. It’s the next morning, and I am STILL IN PAIN. Please don’t buy this, it’s not Dobby approved."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Stay away!! I used Monistat over a decade ago. Some reviews say that the burning is because it’s not a yeast infection. Untrue! This Monistat is a different formula, and whatever they put in it causes extreme burning! My labia minor and major burned in ways I cannot describe. The inflammation is not minimal! Please don’t purchase this product. On day 1, there was some mild discomfort and itching. Day 2 was by far the worst as the product began to slowly seep out, and I was up all night in pain and agony. Day 3, the “chunks” of the egg start to come out, and I finally felt relief. It is now Day 4, and there is some itching, but barely noticeable. Don’t use this product. Please! The FDA needs to investigate this."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I should have read these reviews before I decided to put this egg of fire in my nether regions. I put it in at 3 am, fell asleep, and by 7 am I had a new meaning of fire crotch. Today is day two, now because Aunt Flo came around to make my life even worse. If you can stand the intense pain, then it works, but before I allow Satan's love child back in my whoha, I'll go to a doctor first. Maybe my princess triangle will be less mad at me when all this is over."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "The last time I had a YI, it was BAD. I had my mom get me the Monistat day 3. Within minutes of using it, I was in the bathroom, in excruciating pain trying to get whatever I put in me out. I'm not lying when I say it was possibly the most painful thing I’ve endured. I ended up going with the day 7 another time, and it was a little less intense. I do think the severity of the pain depends on how bad your infection is. I currently have a YI, and I’m using the day 3 again. I’ve had it in for about 15-20 minutes, and I’ve only had a little bit of discomfort, but VERY doable. The medicine is killing off the bad yeast, so obviously it’s probably not meant to feel like sunshine and rainbows. I will say vagisil anti-itch cream helped me a lot. Hopefully, this comment has given someone comfort, as I have been in this situation before and have struggled through the pain of Monistat. Hang in there, it’s worth the infection being done in the end."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Used the egg and cream before bed. Woke up a couple of hours later with burning and excruciating pain. Shower didn't help much. I literally have a chemical burn. Why is this still on the market? I will push to get this removed from the shelves. 12 hours later and not much relief. So sore I hurt to move. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to document. Considering an attorney."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’ve used the 3-day treatment a few times in the past and had burning and itching, but it was tolerable and wasn’t bad. But this time around was quite worse. My vagina currently has 4 chemical burns: 1 on the labia, 2 on the side of the labia, and 1 right above the opening. I am in severe pain and cannot pee without screaming and damn near crying. I literally try to avoid peeing as much as possible right now until I can get to my doctor on Tuesday. This cream should be taken off the shelf with how many complaints it has. There’s also no telling what it’s doing to our insides either! DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This medicine caused the most severe pain I've ever had 'down there' and was 100 times worse than the yeast infection ever was. I was expecting light burning, as warned on the package, but no. Imagine poison ivy mixed with bleach inside of you."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I understand some women had a good experience with this, and I am so happy for them... BUT... do you really want to take the chance? I have suffered from YI since I was 14 (now 33) and have used Monistat so many times. None of which were like this experience. I used the 7-day cream, and oh my goodness, no, no, no! Within two minutes of inserting the cream, I was wrenched over in severe pain. The burning was so intense I felt like I was going to pass out. Started sweating, shaking, and could not sit still. I have broken multiple bones, delivered a child, and lived through some rough stuff... NONE OF, I repeat NONE of that compares to the pain I felt with this. Spent hours in the shower rinsing and rinsing and still didn’t stop for hours and hours. This stuff is no joke! Will never ever use again."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m on day 2 currently, and I’ve never been so uncomfortable in my life. The burning sensation that comes within minutes after inserting is literally unbearable. I want to scratch out my vagina. I kept it in for about 20 minutes until it got to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore. I got out as much as I could, but I’m still currently in extreme pain. I’m NEVER buying this again. Avoid this at all costs unless you want to go through this yourself."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I bought this after getting a mild YI after a round of antibiotics for a UTI. I thought I would clear it up quickly. What a mistake! I bought the Equate (Wal-Mart) 1-dose kind - ladies take note, I saw one lady that had good results with this, but I did NOT. Within a few minutes of inserting the suppository, I felt like I had red-hot pokers shoved up my vagina with fire ants marching up and down the pokers. I tried to get some sleep and managed to drift off, thinking it would be better in the morning. WRONG. I'm on day 2, about 19 hours after insertion, and still in extreme pain. I've tried showering, baths, etc., all to no avail - and it seems that I may have a UTI returning! WHY IS THIS ON THE MARKET?!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used the Monistat 1. It burned and caused more discomfort than before I used it. Had to see my doctor for an oral prescription to cure the yeast infection. She told me to never use Monistat 1. It has a chemical in it that is supposed to make it stay in the vagina that causes extreme pain. She also said she doesn’t even know why they make it. Do not recommend!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I remember using this Monistat 7 years ago, and I cannot remember it being this awful!!! The minute I inserted the cream on day 1, I felt it burning!!! It feels like your vagina is on fire on the inside, and the itching sensation is horrible. It went on for like 1 hour. I had to take a painkiller to try and alleviate this horrible pain/sensation. Now on day 2, the burning/itching sensation was still there, but only lasted for about 15 minutes. Not sure if I will have the guts to try for the next 5 days. Hard to believe that this is a normal side effect. I do not recommend this to anybody."

Literally rolling around on my bed, almost in tears from this unbearable pain. I like considered going to the emergency to get it out of me because I didn't know what to do. After an hour, it has calmed down but still burns. Never using this again. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I never leave reviews, and I had to warn others."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "My first yeast infection and I'm 11 weeks pregnant. Talked to the Dr. and he prescribed me this Monistat from hell. Inserted the cream thinking it would be fast relief. Was I ever wrong!! Itching, burning, rocking back and forth in severe pain. Wondering if I did it correctly or if the Dr. prescribed me the wrong stuff. Attempted to clean it off with a baby wipe, but it burned even more, so I just sat there crying in pain, hoping it would stop soon. Started researching some natural ways to get rid of yeast infections. I found eating yogurt and garlic, if eaten or inserted in the vagina overnight (I know, sounds weird), but I'm willing to try any alternative just so I don't have to go through that burning itchy feeling again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently bawling in extreme itching pain. This is the worst feeling I've ever felt!!! I had a yeast infection two weeks ago and went to the doctor. She gave me an antibiotic for it and said if I ever felt that way again to just use Monistat. So I got the three-day generic Monistat and was fine. No intense pain, burning, or itching. The first day's dose the pod had melted, but I tried to get it up there with just my finger. So by day three when it wasn't really working, I decided to get the one-day one to see if that would get rid of it for good. NOPE! I took it at 9:30. It's currently 11:45 and I'm HYSTERICAL. Idk how I'm even typing this right now!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I never write reviews, but I feel like I need to write this to warn others. I was recommended this by my doctor for some itchiness and discharge that might’ve been a yeast infection. I decided to try it, after a minute of it being inside me, I got hit by such excruciating burning and itchiness! My husband googled reviews, and we saw that everyone had the same experience with it. I showered, bathed, tried to wash it out, put an ice pack on, but nothing could take away the pain. I spent 2 hours in agony, crying and screaming, until I somehow managed to fall asleep. DO NOT USE THIS! My goodness, who knows what’s in that cream, but IT IS HORRIBLE! FIND AN ALTERNATIVE."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Do not use this product. I used the one-night generic Monistat version from Target, and as soon as I inserted the medicine, I was uncomfortable. Ten minutes later, I was in agonizing pain and crying, writhing in pain on my bed. I then tried to take a bath to get some of the medicine out of me and couldn't even sit still in the bathtub. I finally woke up my roommate to get her to take me to the hospital. I was crying and in agonizing pain for four hours. My roommate calmed me down and convinced me that I would be alright, and I used yogurt on my vagina and colloidal silver. I then took some pain medication, strong stuff, and had to use an ice pack between my legs to get myself to stop crying. Do not use the one-night products! Ever!!!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, I feel stupid after reading these reviews while my coochy is burning and in flames of hell. I have had an infection all week and in pain, couldn’t even use underwear or clothes, just literally started being half-naked all around my home because I couldn’t hold the pain. So, I got my husband to buy me something, picked Monistat since it said 1 day, because I needed the pain to go. Little did I know this would burn so bad. I feel like my coochy is broken, been with excruciating pain for a half hour, immediately ran to Google to search reviews, and everyone has felt the same. I want to cry, roll over in a fetal position, and yell so bad. I have to work tomorrow, and it’s almost 4 a.m., literally cannot sleep and won’t sleep. Do not buy this. Should have gone to the ER as I said I would this morning. Need this pain to go."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I first used the Monistat little egg thing earlier this year before bed. Was awake all night in extreme pain and burning, vowing to never use the product again. I thought maybe I had an allergic reaction? I was crying the whole night. Fast forward to this week: felt a little off again and was not able to get in to see a doctor. I was in a time crunch and desperate to get everything back to normal this week, so I decided to try a little bit of the Monistat outside cream. Nope. I barely used any, and it feels like my vag is gonna burn off. I would not recommend this to anyone. The side effects are simply 10x worse than your original infection... someone needs to fix this product."

I used it two nights ago and was extremely uncomfortable, itching and burning like crazy, with no relief. I had heard that the first application was sometimes worse, so I used another dose last night, and WHOA NELLY, I was up at 2 am in extreme pain, in the shower trying to wash it off of me. Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Had itching for a few days, so saw my doctor. A test revealed I had a yeast infection, and after discussing it, my doctor recommended Monistat as I cannot be sure I’m not pregnant. My itchiness was mild by the time I got the results today, but within 5 minutes of inserting the medication, my insides are in agony. I have never been so itchy, not even at the worst of the infection! There has to be a better alternative!"
