Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Well, if you’ve found this, it is too late. I had been feeling bad enough to get the Monistat. I’m in my forties, I’ve had kids and YI before. Never have I had this kind of reaction to the medicine. It feels like hot battery acid poured deep into your hooha, and then there are all these sharp pains. And itches 100 times worse than the YI itself. I convinced myself I had awoken some kind of dormant STD because, unfortunately, I haven’t even been having any crazy sex to get me in this situation. 0/10 do not recommend."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’ve used Monistat before and had zero complications, so I decided to take the same route. Right before bed, I used one applicator, and 30 seconds later it felt like someone threw gasoline and cayenne pepper on my crutches! I tried to wait it out, but the fire in my coco grew stronger and stronger. I have never in my life felt anything like that, so I rushed to the toilet and tried to squeeze everything out, took a shower, and went to bed. I couldn’t believe the agony."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm on day 2 of my treatment, and I've traded constant itchiness for 1 hour daily of unbearable pain. First issue for me was the applicator - I struggle to insert even the smallest tampons and have never done so with zero discomfort, and this applicator is much larger than that. I'm only able to insert it a couple of inches deep, which probably contributes to the intensity of the burning effect, but I get to a point where my muscles just won't allow it to go in any further. Lubing it up helped a bit, but the lube burned because of how irritated the area is. After application comes the searing pain followed by intense itching. My experience lines up with all the other reviews in that regard: it lasts for about an hour and is severe enough that I can't sleep until it subsides. However, during the day I experience minimal itching. Is it worth it? I'm not sure, but I'm going to finish the full course. I need my normal pain-free, itch-free life back."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "When I realized in the night that I had a yeast infection, I went to the store in the morning and bought the 3-day formula and used it right away and then again that night. Those first two doses I felt fine, but then the next night I was in such agony. I realized the next morning that I probably screwed up and still had the yeast infection probably because I hadn’t followed the directions. I bought the 3-day formula again and used it again and was in agony again and even this morning. I am dreading tonight. I can’t sleep for over an hour, and even in the morning I was really struggling for quite a while. I feel like at this point I just have to suffer through this. But I have gotten this many times in the past, but not in the last few years and never remember experiencing so awful before."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "My Y.I. is pretty mild, but it was an inconvenience, and I can't get into the gyno until a few days from now. I decided to try this over-the-counter method. I took it before bed at 10 p.m. It is now 3 a.m., and I was just woken up by what seemed to be Hades trying to crawl out of my vagina. This is 1000x worse than the infection and had me in tears. I wish I had read the reviews. People say it's better after night one, but I'm pretty positive I will not be using this tomorrow. I am in severe pain with an ice pack on my vagina, trying to soothe the inferno. It's helping a little, but I think at this point it's just a bit numb. Hoping and praying it's going to be better tomorrow."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I took Monistat 1 at around 12 a.m. Wednesday night, and it’s now Monday morning, and I’ve been dealing with burning and irritation for the past 4 days. It stopped the mild itching, but I have sharp pain in my vagina. I’m leaving to go on a trip for Thanksgiving, so I need this to stop. How long did it take for the burning to stop for y’all? Google says typically around 7 days it leaves your body, but literally I need this GONE before I escort myself to the ER."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used this for only 1 night, and I was in agony and felt like I was on fire. I can’t believe something like this to treat yeast infections is so horrible. It just did not feel right. After some research, I changed to Canesten, which has a different active ingredient. I will never use Monistat again."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I can't believe this can be sold. After inserting the cream into my princess, I've been in the most excruciating pain, tried to wash it out, but it has not helped. This is real torture."
