For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Like you, other poor unfortunate souls, I am on here Googling 'can Monistat make my yeast infection worse,' and found these horribly accurate reviews. I used Monistat 1 and could have just used a blow torch with the same effect. It's 2 days later, and I'm wondering if I will ever be able to walk normally again. I have used generic YI treatments in years past with no comparison to the total annihilation of my lady parts that is occurring. So much swelling, so much burning and itching. I am so raw, I kid you not that there is trace blood when I wipe. I'm pretty sure Lucifer himself formulated this stuff. Whoever did should be forced to endure its wrath. Every time you think its fiery grip is loosening, it just comes back with a vengeance. This stuff better work in the end."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Monistat 1 is pure awfulness in a box. I inserted the pod last night about 9:30 pm. It's now 6:00 am, and I'm still burning, itching, swelling. I had to go to sleep with a frozen bottle between my legs to get some sleep. In this case, the cure is way worse than the problem, and I'm LIVID. Monistat, you all need to take this stuff off the market. This is dangerous at its finest. WARNING TO ALL: DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF!!! If you love your vagina, stay far away."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am a very sensitive person when it comes to anything with chemicals on my body or face, so I was super scared to try Monistat 7 due to the horrific reviews. But the itching was so horrible that I got extreme swelling and cuts from trying to satisfy the itch. I decided that I would have to go through the torture of Monistat. Day 1 I took 1000mg of ibuprofen and 5 minutes all the way to 35 minutes in, the itching was excruciating! No burning (thank goodness), but so much itching! I was biting my fingers while watching YouTube to distract myself. After an hour it subsided a lot. That only lasted the first two days, but each day I woke up with zero symptoms! The 3rd day was still bad but not as much. Then the 4th day even less, and 5th and 6th day nothing at all! Infection is gone and I am so thankful. Still got one more day to go and I can go back to my regular life again! It was horrible at the beginning, but it was like it was getting rid of the YI! 100% worth it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I used 1 day cream application. I noticed slight burning and itching about a minute after inserting. It's about 4-5 hours later and no relief. My vagina is so sore and swollen with mild burning. Currently using ice to somewhat soothe me. I've used Monistat in the past and although it was some years ago, I did not experience this type of discomfort. Can't wait until my GYN office opens. Going to call to see if I can get some relief."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The pain is so unbearable... It’s now been 12 hours since I used the 1-day treatment, and I can’t sleep or sit or be in any one position for longer than 5 seconds. I can barely walk, my vulva is like 3 times its normal size, and I’m really worried."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The worst experience of my life, hands down. I’d used the 7-day treatment before with no issues and noticed there was a 1-day treatment. Immediate fire. Like someone shoved a lit match into me and cheese grated the outside. I thought I’d be okay if I waited it out, but no, it got 10x worse every minute. Looked down there and realized my lips were bright red and swelling up to nearly the size of golf balls. Not a fun ER visit. Turns out I’m overly sensitive and allergic. How fun."
