For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Right after insertion, I thought, 'Here comes relief.' Then the burn hit. I'm lying on the floor trying to ride this out, but it is painful beyond burning. I feel like I have acid up there. I don't do reviews, but this product needs to be discontinued and every package remaining burned so no one goes through this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m currently experiencing hell and can barely write this. I just inserted the first tube for the first time. I have a high tolerance for pain, and I am in hell. Do not take this stuff!! I have so much more to say, but I can’t take the pain! I just took a bath to try to get it all out, and it didn’t work, so I’m using an ice pack, and that’s not working! Screaming in pain and uncomfortable!!! Whoever man created this medicine needs to burn, burn, burn!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This was absolutely horrid! I had the yeast infection for one night before I got the Monistat. That night I used Betadine to relieve the pain. It worked! The next morning I got the Monistat, determined to get rid of this. Night 2: I inserted it and immediately the itching pain was ridiculous. 100 times worse than the initial. I tried the cream and nothing helped, the burning was on the inside, and the cream doesn't go there. I tried my best to lay on my back and take it, but the pain was unbearable. After 15 minutes in, I had begun to cry. I couldn't take it any longer, I had to try and wash it out. I am so sore, and the itching and burning are still there, but the Betadine is helping. Monistat was the WORST decision I have ever made."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Worst experience ever. Do not use. Putting the cream on it hurt way worse than my actual pain before! Thought I was crazy then went on this site! Currently screaming and kicking like a child. If it doesn't end soon, I'm washing it out and going to bed :'("

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is the worst feeling in the world! My 3-year-old son is trying to soothe me because I’m crying from the pain. Honestly, my lady parts feel like I just had a baby all over again. They are so sore and swollen! And the itch!! Will never buy again. This is disgusting a company would put women through this pain."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I would never tell somebody to go and buy this product. I'm 35 weeks pregnant. I have a yeast infection, and I was told by the pharmacist this is just as good as any yeast infection cream treatments. I took the Monistat 7 Day treatments. First day out of 7, my vagina was on fire, it was burning. I don't need to feel this type of pain before I push out a baby. I had to run my vagina under cool water until it stopped burning. It was, I would say, an 8 for pain and discomfort. I would never suggest this cream for anybody. If that is how they try and deal with yeast infections, that is ridiculous."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ladies, please don't use this. I’ve used Monistat 1 and 3 before, and I’ve never experienced what I am right now. Usually, it’s normal for it to feel a little bit uncomfortable and tingle a little bit. But after 2-3 minutes after inserting the cream, my coochie was on literal fire. I tried laying in my bed to see if the pain would go away... it didn’t. It got so bad that I had to hop in a cool bath. Of course, that didn’t work, if anything, it made the burning sensation 20 times worse. I was in the bath for 30 minutes, crying my eyes out. It got so bad that I almost went to urgent care. This is my first day taking this, and it will be my last. I’m going to the doctors or quick care in the morning. Listen to these reviews, ladies, please. I’m still in pain right now. 10/10 wouldn’t do this stuff again!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Omg, what happened? The first 2 days were okay, then, day 3, what the heck? I thought I didn't insert it right, so today I try again, and oh my gosh, it feels so awful-the worst pain and burning sensation, unbearable. Never again. I will warn others to stay away from Monistat 7."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Whoever designed the applicator tube doesn't have their head screwed on correctly! It was difficult applying it since it's designed with sharp rounded edges. It hurts to even insert it, worse, after applying it, it literally started burning very, very badly! I have never felt anything, pain, burning sensation inside my vagina after trying to treat a yeast infection. I usually buy the knock-off brands (Walgreens, CVS), but seriously, I never had any horrible experiences like I did with Monistat. Ladies, look elsewhere or go see your Dr. I personally don't recommend this product at all."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had no itching, just pain, discharge, and a little burning, so I started Monistat 7. It made the pain go away after the first use and burning. BUT every time I use it, I start itching so bad on the outside, and it says you can apply the cream to the outside to help with itching. Uh... yeah, but it makes it even worse, so I don't know what to do. This is day 2, and I can't bear the itch, but the pain is gone and burning, so it must be working. Ugh, I'm just glad I went with 7 days, as I couldn't imagine how bad the higher mg one would itch."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had some minor itching and then soon realized it was a yeast infection. I've had one before, but I had prescribed medicine for it. This time I decided to try the over-the-counter Monistat, and oh gosh, was I wrong! Immediately after inserting the cream, I got the worst sensation ever. It felt like I sat in a fire ant pile! I tried walking it off. After that didn't work, I tried everything I could to get the cream out. Sitting in a warm bath was no help. A cold bath is what eased the pain, but as soon as I got out, the pain started again. It had me in tears. I wish I could get my money back for this horrible product."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I bought M7 as a just in case. OMG. Someone commented on fire ants/stabbing knives. It's TRUE. 2+ hours of severe burning & pain. It's impossible to sleep with this stuff giving you what feels like razor blades & fire taking turns destroying your lady bits!! So stupid me, day 2. Thought this would be better on day 2. It couldn't be worse. OMG. Nope. Day 2 was so bad. About 2+ hours of severe burning and itching. I really didn't want to do day 3. Which is why I am reviewing this. Again, I have an ice pack. It seems a bit less in severity compared to yesterday. I don't want to shoot myself. I just want to be in a coma, so maybe I don't have to feel this. I will not recommend this product. In fact, I am going to tell all my friends how awful it is & strongly encourage them to use anything but this!! Sorry, Monistat. I don't care if it's working. In this day & age, there is no reason for a product to trigger this kind of pain response."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The burning and itching is completely unbearable. It actually made me cry. The most uncomfortable feeling I’ve ever felt in/on my vagina. I honestly cannot continue on with the phase of 7 days because it hurts that bad. If you have a high pain tolerance, then maybe it’s worth it. I, on the other hand, can NOT endure that amount of pain again. I put yogurt down there to try and help the pain, it’s helping a little bit, but it’s still itching much more than my yeast infection. So, I will have to trash it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Holy cow... I'm on the NuvaRing, and so far I'm on my 3rd yeast infection in 5 months. The first two yeast infections Monistat 7 worked perfectly fine, slight itching but not unbearable. THIS TIME MY WHOLE VAGINA IS IN BURNING HELL. First night I cried for hours in pain, no sleep that night... now I'm in my second night, and it's 4 am. IT IS TWICE AS BAD... this caused so much itching pain... I was biting my pillow to keep myself from screaming IN PAIN. From reading these reviews, there's something seriously wrong here, no one should be in crying pain from a cream. Right now, the only thing that's helping is an ice pack in a plastic bag numbing my whole vagina... seriously, is this a horrible mess of a batch... not sure..."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Never, ever buy this product! I inserted the cream, within 5 minutes, I have never felt such burning and itching so intense. I don’t know what they have in this product, but it made me want to rip my vagina off! It hurt so bad to the point I was crying and yelling! I’ve never had a problem with the melting tablets, but I just do not know what’s so different with this product. I rate it a 0, and I will never buy this again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Never use this... I repeat never use this. I did as instructed, and within 5 minutes, I was in such severe pain it hurt more than childbirth! I wish I had read reviews on it first, but the only thing that helped was to wash it out. Damn, that was so bad it still hurts a little bit, but not as bad as before I washed it out. I can deal with a little pain, but it felt as if I wanted to rip my vagina out."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I never write reviews, but I feel like I need to write this to warn others. I was recommended this by my doctor for some itchiness and discharge that might’ve been a yeast infection. I decided to try it, after a minute of it being inside me, I got hit by such excruciating burning and itchiness! My husband googled reviews, and we saw that everyone had the same experience with it. I showered, bathed, tried to wash it out, put an ice pack on, but nothing could take away the pain. I spent 2 hours in agony, crying and screaming, until I somehow managed to fall asleep. DO NOT USE THIS! My goodness, who knows what’s in that cream, but IT IS HORRIBLE! FIND AN ALTERNATIVE."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ladies, my doctor suggested this! I am 15 weeks pregnant with a mild YI, and my OB told me to buy this stuff instead of being seen. First day was slight hell, second day was in hell, and last night, oh last night was like Satan's breath on my whoha. My poor husband had to hold my hand while I squeezed it to nothing. I have never been in that much pain, and I've gone through natural childbirth! Luckily, my vaginal walls were awesome and pushed most of it out, but for the next 2 hours, I was sitting in the tub crying. No yeast infection in the world is worse than this. My OB is getting a call from me on Monday."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This stuff burns and itches! They say 'mild,' the 'mildness' had me crying for 30 minutes. It still burns and itches, not as intense, but it is definitely still there. I haven’t been through the full 7 days yet, night one, and I’m in pain, though."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The Monistat 7 causes such a bad itch! DO NOT USE THIS. It burns and itches and should be taken off the shelves. Using this stuff was torture. I'd rather have a baby than go through this experience again. I had to take a shower just to relieve the pain just a little. I won't be using this past the one time and will never use this again. I'd rather get the prescribed pill."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So everyone saying this was horrible and burning them, they felt horrible. Just know the product was working. A yeast infection causes basically a rash in your vaginal canal, which is a fungus, so it’s irritated and will be because the product is getting rid of the infection. The first few nights it was kind of uncomfortable. I’m on day 4, still a small amount of itching, but the cream helps during the day, and at night I use the vaginal cream. So far it’s worked for me, pain is inevitable. It’s a yeast infection...."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had some itchy and uncomfortableness, so I bought Monistat 7 and took the first dose that afternoon. That night, I was incredibly red and swollen and in pain, I couldn't have anything touching my area. Doses 2 and 3 were no problem, all symptoms were easing. Dose 4, I woke up many times throughout the night and my whole area was covered in sweat and super itchy. Dose 5, it was horrid. I was on fire, it hurt so bad. I had to get a shower, I couldn't deal with it. I'm not taking it anymore."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, so I'm 29 weeks pregnant. Started feeling slight itching around the lady area. I've only had one YI before this, and I was given meds from a Dr. Of course, you can't take those while pregnant. So, I was told to try the 7-day Monistat cream insert. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Put it in 30 mins ago. I'm currently in my bed with an ice pack between my legs to stop the awful pain! Immediate regret."
