"Diagnosed with prostate cancer with a Gleason 7, PSA 8.2. Received a 6-month Lupron shot on Nov 15, 2022, and 20 sessions of radiation starting Jan. 18, 2023. I have suffered hot flashes several times a day and night, and they have become more intense in the last 6 weeks, by that, I mean I get completely soaked several times a day and night. I have gained around 20 pounds, have a loss of muscle strength, neuropathy in my hands, bone pains in my feet, back pain, mood swings, and lack of motivation to get moving. I do ride my bicycle several times a week, about 100-plus miles, and this is how I keep my sanity. Last appointment with the doctor was on May 15."

"I am taking this drug along with 10 mg of Prednisone, so some of my symptoms may be from either drug. I've been taking Lupron Depot for four months and the prednisone for eight months. Hot flashes, 15-20 per day. Lasting 3-4 minutes. Dizziness, but much better since I stopped taking Flomax. Weight gain, always hungry. Prednisone does this to me. Fainting, may be dehydrated at times. A bit of chest pain, but not serious."

"After about a year of Lupron injections every 90 days, I have developed osteoporosis in my sacroiliac area with much pain. After overdosing on ibuprofen for a month or so, they gave me Tramadol 50 mg every 6 hours. With this, it allows me to function and not be mostly bedridden. Blood analysis shows testosterone and PSA barely detectable. This has stalled the progression of cancer, including bone. They are supposed to give me something to help with this osteoporosis. I'm 81, always been active, moving furniture, etc. I do have small bones, 7-inch wrist. They say that I already had an onset of osteoporosis; I don't think so, except for the last year, caused by this Lupron. My testicles have shrunk way down. I think after my 90 days are up, I'll knock it back to at least 4 or every 6 months. Blood analysis should keep me informed."

"Disclosure: the patient is a health care professional in the field of dentistry. I am an eighty-eight-year-old man who has stage four metastatic prostate cancer (metastatic to bone and local lymph nodes). My oncologist prescribed Lupron Depot injection every three months (in office) and in conjunction with oral medications Abiraterone Acetate plus prednisone taken daily at home. I have not experienced any undesirable side effects (including pain) from the infusions of Lupron Depot. The infusions are injected into the butt muscle. My tumor status and body responses are monitored with clinical laboratory tests every three months at the office visits. So far, the tumor response has been better than anticipated, and there have been no adverse clinical side effects. My PSA was 17 at diagnosis, and it decreased to >0.07, and it has remained there."

"1 year on Lupron 3-month shots after I had prostate removed with 1 spot of cancer spreading to hip 5 months after removal. 3 hits of radiation cleared spot. PSA undetectable for 1 year now with hot flashes only side effect, but now knee and ankle ligament sensitivity like hitting the funny bone... little numbness starting in the same areas. I'm considering a vacation until a PSA rise? Risky but don't want more damage in legs and hope it will reverse some? Been taking fenbendazole, Joe Tippins Protocol, over the same year. Good luck to all during your life's journey and see ya on the other side ✨️"

"Weakness, itching skin, high blood pressure, increased A1C and glucose levels, diminished platelet level and red blood cells. It has reduced my PSA from 7.8 to 1.6. Have taken additional drugs to reduce blood pressure, another to help with urinary incontinence, and antihistamine for itching skin."

"76YO. Got Bicalutamide pills and a Lupron shot twice before my 'High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)' operation to kill my prostate in 2019. Fatigue was my worst side effect. Did serious and intense Max Gerson Cancer Protocol therapy for three years. Totally off alcohol and mostly vegetarian. Mostly no carbs. Lost twenty pounds. When PSA started creeping up, my urologist put me on strictly Bicalutamide pills once a day (50mg). Negligible PSA for almost two years until tender breast and some enlargement took me off it. Been off for six months and back to normal in every way, including testosterone. PSA is creeping up again, and I think I will go back to the pills but only once or twice a week and see how my PSA does. I get the PSA checked every other month. I feel very good."

"I got this injection about a month ago. In the last week I have had several of the side effects such as gastro issues involving constipation and diarrhea. I also occasionally feel bloated. Also, hot and cold chills. My number one complaint is the pain in my left thigh bone. I haven't slept well with this pain and discomfort. Just in that one area on my thigh. I have not gotten any other side effects."

"I have had a prostatectomy followed by biochemical recurrence, and my physician recommended one year of Lupron Depot and 45 sessions of external beam radiation, provided simultaneously. I selected the 3-month injection due to reports of possibly fewer side effects. I am nearly finished with my first 3-month Lupron injection and only have 15 more radiation sessions. Side effects from Lupron have been extremely minimal. I had no injection site reaction or pain. I experienced body heat at times, especially when sleeping, but it has been minimal. I just have to remove my sweatshirt or uncover in bed. I do keep my bedroom cooler, and this helps. I have been dizzy but had dizziness before the Lupron or external beam radiation upon getting up from a seated position. Walking required me to slow down due to mild dizziness. I work out daily with free weights, 100 crunches, and 20-30 minutes on a stationary bike, and I firmly believe that this has helped. I had fatigue with exercise for the first week."

"My dad had 1 shot of Lupron at age 80 for elevated prostate cancer. He lost control of his muscles, was unable to walk, and accelerated his dementia. My dad passed away 10 months after the shot."

"Some hot flashes for short periods when thinking hard and only for maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Zero sex drive. Maybe joint pain. Maybe less energy. PSA at 0.25 after 3 or 4 months. There is some merit in not wanting to have sex often for that has been cured."
