For Birth Control "I was put on this birth control about a month ago. I know everyone has different experiences, but here is mine: At first, I really liked the birth control and did not notice anything different. About a week in, my acne started becoming terrible, my breasts became sore to the touch, and I was nauseous before every meal. About two weeks later, my anxiety went downhill. Panic attacks every night, constant worrying, not wanting to go anywhere because of the fear. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder. I’m not sure, but that might be why the birth control did not work for me. My anxiety has been terrible recently, and I hope it stops once I get off this pill. I do not suggest this pill if you suffer from anxiety/depression, etc. This pill may be amazing for some, but not for me. I also got heavy periods with cramps. The only good thing about this pill is that my breasts got bigger!!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about 8 months, and I am not satisfied at all. Ever since I started taking this, I have been getting bad acne along my jawline, and I have become depressed to the point where I had to start taking medication for that too. I haven't noticed any changes in weight; I work out almost every day, and I maintain a healthy diet. I am 19 years old, and I have no sex drive, and I blame this medication for it. I am in a long-term relationship, and the only thing it has done good for me is prevent pregnancy. I hate this pill, and I honestly believe that it has aided in causing the issues in my life. I gave it way more than 2-3 months to settle in, and I am not happy. I do not recommend this pill to anyone. Stay away."

For Birth Control "I never write reviews for anything, but I felt like I needed to write a review for this, to help others make the decision to STOP taking this birth control (and BC in general). While on this BC, I experienced mood swings, anxiety, weight gain, migraines, dizziness, nausea, acne flare-ups, and I even fainted while on this and ended up in the ER. So I decided to stop taking this BC, and after stopping it (it's been 7 months off it now), I still don't have a regular cycle (I have not had my period in 2 months). I developed pill-induced PCOS. BC pills stop ovarian function, and the bleeding you get every month on BC is NOT a real menstrual cycle. BC stops ovulation, so when you come off the pill, your body sometimes takes a while to ovulate on its own again. I really hope this post was able to educate those who did not know how bad birth control is for your body. Please do yourself a favor and don't take this!"

For Birth Control "I was switched to this after being on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (loved it) and Gildess (loved it aside from hair loss). Blisovi led to painful and embarrassing breakouts, especially along my jawline and chin. I've never had perfect skin, but this was unbearable! I usually don't write reviews, but I had to share this one. Also, my hair was shedding like crazy-I was practically going bald! Awful :( Also, I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo all 4 years of college, and it completely cleared my skin and gave me semi-heavy periods and caused some mood swings. Maintained good weight though. I was on Gildess for 6 months until it was recalled. I did have hair loss, but I was happy all the time with clear skin! Also, lost about 5 pounds (I'm 5'4" & was 110 lbs)"

For Birth Control "I started this pill 2 months ago after being on Lo Lestrin Fe for a year because I switched insurance. Definitely noticed weight gain (10 lbs in 2 months!!!) and breaking out in my T-zone area. I've never had acne besides the occasional pimple during my period. Just figured out this was the culprit after reading these reviews and putting it together. I plan on making an appointment with my doctor to discuss another option."

For Birth Control "I have been on a few different pills over the last 25 years. This is the first pill I have asked to change. I gave it three months like the doctor said after switching from the mini pill (nursing prior to this). The first two months, I had my period for two weeks at different points in the months. My face had acne everywhere, just in time for a formal family affair. And I have begun getting migraine headaches. Today, I finally called and asked to switch because I have had my period for two weeks, and it isn’t stopping. The doctor switched me, and now I have to go for a pelvic sono to see what in the world is going on. I had no problems prior to going on this medicine. I do not recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "This is the worst I have ever had. I have been taking this for months since my insurance wouldn't cover the one I used to be on. My periods have been worse than ever. I have been breaking out, which I have never had to deal with, and now my period won't stop. I have contacted my doctor and asked to be changed immediately."

For Birth Control "I started taking this birth control in mid-December (so it’s been about 2 months since I’ve been on it). In the first month, I experienced severe anxiety (and had my first anxiety attack). In month 2, I’ve noticed my acne has gotten a bit worse, but it’s still manageable, so I’m not fully complaining about that. My periods used to be 8 days long of constant heavy flow, and now they’re 2-4 days of light. So I think it’s a good brand for when you want a light period, just sucks when your boyfriend thinks you’re psycho some days, haha."

For Birth Control "Well, I'm not pregnant, but my period is VERY irregular. I have it in a shorter time before I'm done with the active pills. Then it lasts almost 1.5 weeks. Also, breaking out horribly during the whole month (possible to be unrelated)."

For Birth Control "I've been on Blisovi 24 Fe for almost a year. The entire time I’ve had an ongoing yeast infection that won’t go away. My anxiety has skyrocketed while my libido has greatly decreased. I’ve had extreme dryness and more migraines on the pill than I’ve ever had in my life. I never used to have bad cramps when getting periods, but now I get cramps so bad I can hardly move, and I have to keep a heating pad on my lower back just to be able to stand it. I’ve been super depressed, and it’s given me more acne. I haven’t gotten pregnant, so it’s doing its job, but I can’t wait to change."

For Birth Control "Was on Lo Loestrin till I changed insurance, and they are making me take this new birth control pill. I loved the one I was on, it helped a lot with easing my menstrual cycle. Now that I've taken this, I feel like I want to be sick almost every night, and my acne is terrible. My breasts have never been this tender. I absolutely hate this product! Calling my doctor for something else, especially after they said it was going to be almost the same. She described it like I was taking Advil, but now I have to take Tylenol. Well, just like with Tylenol, I can't take it."

For Birth Control "This has been my favorite birth control I have ever tried. I was on June FE 1/20 for 2 years, and I loved it except I was experiencing chronic yeast infections. My doctor switched me to Sprintec, which didn’t help the infections and also wrecked my mental health. Then I decided to try the Paragard IUD, which I mostly enjoyed, but it became misplaced. After all that, they put me on Lo Loestrin, which was by far the worst. Acne, depression, and bad nausea. Finally, I was switched to Blisovi, and my skin is better, no change in weight, better mental health, and light, regular (almost to the hour) periods. All birth controls affect us differently, but for me, I’m glad I finally found the winner! Only downside is some nausea and bloating around the first day of my period, but I’ll take it!"

For Birth Control "I know birth controls affect everyone very differently, so I can only share my personal experiences with Blisovi 24 Fe. :) This is the only birth control prescription I've used so far, and I've had zero negative side effects! My periods are a lot shorter and significantly lighter than they used to be before birth control. I haven't had any breakouts, mood swings, or depression on this prescription. I've loved it so far! Truly. Unfortunately, my new health insurance doesn't cover 24 Fe, so I'm going to switch to Blisovi Fe 1/20 in its place, and I'm hoping for similar results."

For Birth Control "Been taking for 3 years for painful periods. Only get my period every 4-6 months, and cramping is much less. Did its job. No side effects, no weight gain, no acne."
