For Birth Control "I have been taking Blisovi 24 Fe for about 5 months after switching from Tri-Lo-Sprintec, which made my moods crazy. Blisovi 24 Fe has been nothing but good to me. I don’t get acne, I haven’t gotten pregnant (knock on wood), and my periods have become very light and only about 2 days long. Occasionally, I experience headaches and nausea, but any birth control will do that to you, so I don’t find it a big deal. My moods have been much better and less fluctuating overall. I guess everyone really just reacts differently to it."

For Birth Control "DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you do and experience side effects such as nausea, unstable moods, depression, low to NO sex drive, constantly fatigued, constant yeast issues, brain fog, and your Dr. tells you it has nothing to do with the birth control and recommends you stay on it, and also blames the side effects on something else and sends you for blood work after blood work, all while getting PERFECT results back. GET A DIFFERENT Dr. AND STOP TAKING THIS BIRTH CONTROL IMMEDIATELY. I stupidly trusted my Dr. for YEARS when she told me it was impossible these side effects are from this birth control. When I finally got the sense to just do the research myself, it was clear as day that this IS the reason I have been experiencing the side effects mentioned above to the point where it has been noticeable to my family and friends. I have stopped taking this birth control and cannot wait to see the improvements."

For Birth Control "4 months in and I can't complain. I am on this for PCOS. My main thing is I would recommend taking a B complex. I saw that birth control depletes B vitamins, which can cause mood swings and depression. I've taken a B complex vitamin every day along with the birth control and haven't had any mood swings. Had spotting during my second month but was expecting that while adjusting. My acne didn't get better or worse and didn't gain any weight. Always eat a little something with the pill or you'll be nauseous."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking this for just over a month, and I actually like it. The first week, I had some nausea, and the second week some bleeding and light cramping that lasted around 8 days. But since then, no side effects. One thing I was worried about was weight gain, but since starting Blisovi 24 Fe, I’ve actually lost around 5 lbs. My period was lighter than it’s ever been, super light. I also had no PMS or period symptoms. Would recommend, but I feel like the experience is different for everyone."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this pill by my gynecologist, and it's free with my insurance. Prior to taking it, I had visited this website and read the reviews on it, and I was terrified. I was so nervous to start the pill, but I knew that everyone's body is different, so I just had to try it, and everything is fine. I only had the mild side effects that are generally anticipated on any brand: slight nausea for the first few days and some discharge for a little more than the first week, and currently, breast tenderness. I just finished the second week of my pack, so I can't say that I know I'm adjusted yet, but for anyone who is nervous like I was-don't be afraid to try it, you can always change it!"

For Birth Control "This birth control is the worst thing that's ever happened to me. I started taking it as soon as I started my sophomore year of college, and I have never been more anxious and depressed in my life. I have panic attacks, nausea, weight loss, heart palpitations, “brain fog,” my vision has been blurry, and I get dizzy a lot, the list could honestly go on. These symptoms started within the first week of taking this pill, and I also missed my last period, and I'm not pregnant. Avoid this birth control at ALL costs!!!!!"

For Birth Control "This was my first birth control, and I had a horrible experience. The first few days were fine, and then all of a sudden, my whole face and chest broke out. I’ve always had acne, but this was next-level acne that didn’t go away. I also experienced horrible anxiety and nausea. I was constantly nervous, and sometimes the anxiety and nausea would wake me up at night for hours at a time. I have a history of anxiety, so maybe I’m more prone to having panic attacks, but before going on this medication, my anxiety was under control, and I had no panic attacks a few months prior. A few days after stopping the medication, my acne cleared, I gained back my appetite, and I was no longer having panic attacks. Everyone’s experience was different, but mine was very bad with this medication."

For Birth Control "I love this stuff. I had switched from Lo Loestrin because of price, but I'm really glad I did. My skin has been perfect ever since I started taking it. When I was taking Lo Loestrin, it made me have red bumpiness around my chin, but once I started taking this, it went away immediately, and my skin has looked so good ever since. I haven’t had any bad experiences, besides my breasts hurting (and they got bigger, which I'm happy about). Some reviews said they got headaches, nausea, weight gain, bad moods, but I haven’t experienced any of that. My periods haven’t been bad either, no heavier than what they were when not on birth control. Works super well for me!"

For Birth Control "I was prescribed Blisovi 24 Fe after my insurance decided not to cover Minastrin 24 Fe. I have taken Blisovi for about 8 days now, and I have had terrible side effects. My breasts and nipples are in extreme pain all day, bad headaches, and today I fainted. Earlier today, I was speaking to a peer, and all of a sudden, I broke out into an entire body sweat, got extremely lightheaded, and extremely nauseous. My blood pressure was taken immediately after my fainting spell, and it read 85/60. I'm typically anywhere from 110-115/75-80. I will no longer be taking this medication due to the side effects. I told myself I would try it for a month, but after the fainting spell today, I will no longer be taking Blisovi 24 Fe."

For Birth Control "I only found myself on this website after not having a period for 4 months to see if anyone else had anything to say about that. I do have to take pregnancy tests to be safe, but this stuff is really good. The only side effects of taking it for me are sore breasts and occasional nausea, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I don't intentionally skip a period, so if this worries you, I would stay away from this birth control."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for 2 years, and I am so glad I saw these reviews. I’ve suffered with unprompted anxiety, but I always thought it was normal. I have gained weight, my acne around PMS is absolutely horrible, my back hurts, and the nausea is so hard to manage. I will never be taking this pill again. Please listen to the reviews and know you aren’t going crazy!!!"

For Birth Control "Started in Jan. At first, I loved it. Short, predictable period, and my breasts got bigger. Developed severe nausea and started gaining weight. Took a pregnancy test because that was the only logical explanation, right? I wasn't pregnant, so I decreased my daily calories even more, increased my workouts, and still kept gaining weight. I also had trouble staying asleep through the night. And now, really dry patches on my face. I hate that I have to stop because I loved the short periods and the $0 copay, but the side effects are too much to handle."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this for three weeks and nauseous the whole time. I haven’t stopped bleeding since I started it. I have PCOS and wanted something to help with cysts. I was on Femcon for years, but they took me off when I had an odd pap. I’ve since had a child and been off BC for years. This stuff just makes me feel awful. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

For Birth Control "I started Blisovi 24 Fe birth control 4 months ago. At first, everything seemed okay, but these last 2 months have been horrible. I am 30 years old and I have NEVER had any issues with acne. Now I'm constantly finding new bumps popping up around my chin and forehead. The last 8 or so days left in my pack, I feel like complete crap. My stomach constantly cramps, I feel constipated, I feel nauseous, I have headaches, I feel tired, and I'm constantly hungry. I'm bloated all of the time. My doctor has now changed me to Junel... hoping for better luck."

For Birth Control "I have been taking Blisovi for almost 2 years now. This BC regulated my period, cleared up my acne, and stopped the cramps. However, I had bad nausea and headaches at the start, which the doctor told me would stop as I continued, so I kept taking it. Eventually, the nausea went away, but the headaches didn't. I had terrible backaches. I gained at least 40 lbs since starting. I'm in college, so it's hard to eat healthy/exercise when in school & working, but gaining this much weight this fast is not normal. I was already depressed because of school, but this BC made me mean/irritable, I have lost my motivation, and I feel like a different person. I just stopped taking this pill and switched to a hormonal IUD, so I'll see if anything changes. The negative side effects were too much to bear."

For Birth Control "I have never left a review on a medication, but I need other women to be warned! I was on this two months, and it was the WORST two months. I gained 13 pounds, my acne flared up like never before, I was constantly nauseous (throwing up almost every day), breakthrough bleeding if you are even 10 minutes late taking the pill, but the absolute worst side effect was how heightened my anxiety and depression became. Panic attacks almost every day, and they were so severe and worse than they have ever been. Crying LITERALLY all the time about everything. Did not have any desire to leave my house, and when I did, I was so anxious it wasn't even worth it. Even if you aren't sure how your body will react to this pill, I would NOT chance it."

For Birth Control "Unfortunately, this is the WORST OF THE WORST. I have struggled with severe menstrual cramps my whole life and was very apprehensive when I was switched from Junel to Blisovi. I was correct to be apprehensive. Blisovi increased my period cramps, caused daily nausea that sometimes led to vomiting, horrendous mood swings, and caused weight gain more rapid than ever before. I am currently trying to fix my body after the use of this and would like to warn all those who are potentially using it or thinking about using it. I am a young female who would like to warn other young females about the detrimental effects this pill has on someone both physically and mentally. 0/10. STEER CLEAR!"

For Birth Control "Awful! Took Microgestin for years. Pharmacy gave me this Blisovi because they were out of Microgestin and assured me this was 'the same thing.' No way! Took it for 6 weeks - cramps, spotting, nauseous, headaches, gained 5 lbs (and I hardly ate because I had no appetite!), broke out all over my chin/neck area, had my period for 10 days! Ugh. Never again."

For Birth Control "I'm currently on the first week of my second month, but I am stopping. The third week of my first pack, I ended up throwing up, and I have been nauseous nonstop since starting this pill. It also made me extremely anxious and depressed and exacerbated my pre-existing sleep problems. Definitely calling the Dr on Monday to switch."

For Birth Control "This birth control straight up ruined my life. I would wake up every morning with crippling anxiety/depression, I could not eat, I was constantly nauseous and vomiting. And it took me months to realize the Blisovi 24 was the problem, so by the time I quit taking it, I had already developed a vitamin D deficiency and was extremely low in progesterone, both of which can greatly affect your moods. Seriously, try ANY other birth control before this one. They should not be allowed to sell this stuff."

For Birth Control "I've experienced exactly what others are commenting on here. I was fine on Junel, then Gildess, then was switched to Blisovi. I've almost finished my 2nd pack and will be switching to Minastrin after talking to my OB/GYN. I'm up 8 lbs since I started, the waist in my pants is extremely tight, breast tenderness, I had a rash on my hip/abdomen for the first few weeks, and I get extremely nauseous in the mornings and evenings. I've also had breakthrough bleeding, but that is probably more my fault - it happens if I forget to take a pill before work and don't get to take it until that evening. Overall, I can't wait to be off of this medication and I hope the new one I try doesn't give me crazy side effects, but you never know until you've tried it."

For Birth Control "I started taking this pill the day my period started on October 22nd, and although my severe cramps are gone, my period has lasted far longer than what is normal for me. I started taking it to get rid of my debilitating painful cramps, but the bleeding is still fairly heavy and it's been like 10 days, almost 2 weeks! As opposed to my regular 4-7 day period with heavy bleeding and cramps that taper out and lessen towards the end, this time it's not even letting up. I have no cramps. Yay! But this is absurd. I'm going through all of my sanitary products, have horrible nausea, my severe depression has worsened, and my anxiety has spiked. I'm better off suffering the pain and heavy bleeding for a little while instead of no cramps but constant bleeding. I will be making an appointment to try something else, I don't recommend this birth control. Reading all of the other reviews, I'm glad to know others have had similar experiences and I'm not totally alone!"

For Birth Control "I was on Gildess for a year when all of the sudden the pharmacy switched me to Blisovi 1/20. For the last few months, I've been experiencing extreme anxiety to the point of jumping out of my skin. I can't sleep. I'm not sure if it's my anxiety or the pill causing my extreme nausea every day. But it's almost unbearable. I do not recommend this pill. I've been thinking, oh man, am I pregnant? Because of the nausea. So I thought, after months, let me look at some reviews. To my amazement, there isn't one good review on this pill. I haven't gained weight, but I feel like crap. Switching ASAP!"

For Birth Control "Don't take it! It gave me an awful rash, nausea, a yeast infection, and made me super depressed. It’s been a month, and I can’t take it anymore. I’m getting off of it right now. The only good thing about this pill is I didn’t get acne, have a lowered sex drive, or have weight gain. Besides that, I’ve felt sick every day since taking this rubbish."
