For Chlamydia Infection "Took the 4 tablets at one time. This medicine was the best and also the worst medicine to take. It was great because it worked amazing, everything was gone. The side effects were horrible. For an hour, I was fine, and once the hour hit, I was sick to my stomach. I threw up a few times, and then I had the worst stomach pain for a few hours until I finally fell asleep. Overall, worth it though its effects people different, but if you want the infection gone, this is the go-to."

For Chlamydia Infection "Took the 2 pills as soon as I got in. Within 30 minutes, I felt the stomach pains. Felt sleepy, which was nice because I didn't have to feel the stomach pains. After I woke up, the pains continued, and then I felt nauseous and vomited. After that, the pains stopped, and everything felt great. Can finally eat now."

For Chlamydia Infection "I've taken azithromycin twice now, both the pill and liquid form. It was effective in getting rid of my infection, but it made me violently ill. I'm unable to work because I collapse, vomit constantly, have terrible stomach pains to the point where I'm completely immobile, and I get fatigued. I'm sure for some people it doesn't affect them, but for those that do; it's absolutely horrific."

For Chlamydia Infection "Read a lot of the reviews before taking the medication, which scared the life out of me because of my phobia of vomiting. Well, I followed the doc's instructions - don't eat for 2 hours before taking the dose (4 tablets in one go) and at least one hour afterward. No diarrhoea, no vomiting, no nausea, no fever. I guess I was one of the lucky ones!"

For Chlamydia Infection "Just took this azithromycin today, two of the 500 mg pills in one dose. I took them with my dinner, which was not extremely heavy but not too light. 15 minutes later, I’m vomiting. I thought it was my food, but I also had the same for lunch. Then I saw these reviews, so I do know it was the medicine. I didn’t notice the pills in the vomit, so hopefully, they’re still there and will stick and stay, lol. I will update this review after my next STD test in two weeks."

For Chlamydia Infection "Completely ashamed to have tested positive for an STI. Never thought I would be the one to contract one... But honestly, it's such a common STI you don't even have to be the promiscuous type... Have only slept with three people, I'm 22 years old and I received... So don't beat yourself up. Anyway, after I read the reviews before taking the medicine, I went into the nurse's office extremely nervous, thinking I was doomed. I made sure to eat a lot before going in. I was prescribed 2 (500 mg) doses, took one after another around 11:00 AM. Figured I'd sleep the stomach ache off if I received one, but unfortunately, my luck, I woke up to the sharp pains around 1:30 PM. I had diarrhea for a good 15 minutes and dry heaved a little. After that, I've been fine..."

For Chlamydia Infection "I got tested for STDs just as a routine test, and it came back positive for chlamydia. My boyfriend and I were just shocked, we don't know which one got it before we got together. The doctor was very clear about the possibility of the bacterium being silent for months, but not clear about the side effects of this medication! I took 4 tablets of 250 mg, and after 2 hours, I felt terrible: stomachache like never in my life, and I had to fight against the vomit always around the corner all day. Take a day off or take the pill after work to have plenty of time to deal with it!"

For Chlamydia Infection "Literally the worst side effects! I was trying to focus on falling asleep because it felt like my stomach was twisting and turning, and I was going to throw it up. Twenty minutes after taking two pills, I threw up all over myself in bed! I ate crackers beforehand to put something in my stomach. My heart felt like it was going a million miles an hour only ten minutes after taking them, worst experience with any kind of medicine I've ever had in my life. Now I have to turn around and take them again because, of course, they weren't effective in twenty minutes. Luckily, the doctor prescribed me Reglan (used to help with nausea) to take before I take the azithromycin. Hoping I don't have the same experience all over again."

For Chlamydia Infection "I took two 500 mg of azithromycin at 7 PM. I ate a whole thin pizza from Pieology at 4:30 PM. At 7:45 PM, I didn't feel much of anything. Then boom!! 8 PM rolls around, and I'm feeling hot as hell. I know that something is wrong, and it’s definitely about to get worse. I try to drive home, and I’m feeling woozy and nauseous. I can barely breathe at this point. I had to vomit badly. I make it home around 9ish, and now my stomach is super upset. Basically, the pharmacist warned me that if I did not eat something with this medicine, I would get very bad diarrhea. I literally frowned when she said that, not thinking much of it. It’s now 9:15 PM, and I’m crying on the toilet because I’m having a terrible case of diarrhea because I didn’t listen. Please be mindful when taking such strong medicine like this one. I thought I had it under control, and it’s now 9:51 PM, and I'm still crying on the toilet as I’m writing this. Hopefully, it’ll be over soon! Today is 3/15/18."

For Bronchitis "My wife came down with a bad case of bronchitis New Year's Eve day. I took her to urgent care that evening. She did not drink that night and started taking the azithromycin the following morning. Two hours later, she got bad stomach cramps along with vomiting and diarrhea. We stopped the medication. We think it may have had something to do with her long-time health condition of diverticulitis. This might be something you may want to mention if you have this condition before taking it."

For Chlamydia Infection "This is the first time I've encountered an STD, and I've been married and sleeping with the same man for two years now, so we assume I got it before I met him (as I slept around a bit then), but wow they weren't kidding! This sucks. I'm already 12 weeks and 6 days pregnant...and before I started taking the medicine today, I was already puking my guts out. I puked again about 2 hours after taking the one-time dosage, and that was the worst! Then I had to shower because I felt so gross! Now I'm sitting on the toilet with the worst diarrhea (cramps I'm used to, I got those badly with my menstrual cycle, so no biggie) but man this is no joke: I even ate a couple of hours before I took them too. Here's to hoping these tablets work and are worth it."

For Chlamydia Infection "I found out 3 weeks ago that I had chlamydia for the first time. I got two pills of 500 mg azithromycin and took them right away, as it says you can take it on an empty stomach, I highly suggest eating first. I found myself, 15 minutes later, vomiting and having severe abdominal cramps, and I was very dizzy. I went to the doctor the next day with my fiancé, and we both got the pills-me for the second time due to vomiting-but ate an hour before taking them, and neither of us had a problem doing it that way."

For Chlamydia Infection "So I’m giving it a 6 because it’s obviously going to get rid of the infection, but I bloody hate this medication already. I took it about 2 hours ago, had a nap, and woke up, then had to run to the toilet with severe diarrhoea. I vomited briefly after and feel really nauseous now, quite drowsy as well. For Chlamydia Infection "I got diagnosed for chlamydia, and the next day went and had treatment. If you are scared about taking them because the side effects, don’t worry about it. I ate some food and then took them about 2 hours later. I had four 250mg tablets all in one go, and it's the 4th day now, and I’m absolutely fine. I have had no side effects, no stomach pain, no vomiting. The only thing is I can’t stop farting for some reason! I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but if it does, that’s the least that has happened to me, lol."

For Chlamydia Infection "This was not my first time taking this medication (I was lied to twice), however, it was the first time I've had side effects. I did not eat before or after and still managed to vomit a few times. I've been nauseated since I took the medication and have developed a headache as well as stomach cramps. Now I'm just praying I didn't puke up the meds! PLEASE GO GET CHECKED BEFORE UNPROTECTED SEX! I shouldn't have to go through complete hell because my partner didn't realize there were TWO DIFFERENT TESTS! A blood test does NOT check for gonorrhea or chlamydia!"

For Chlamydia Infection "I was given 1000 mg of azithromycin in the form of four pink pills. I seemed fine for the first hour and a half. Was released from the clinic driving home when I felt nauseous and extreme abdominal pain. I had to pull over, I was in so much pain and vomited everything I ate that day. I'm not sure if I need to get another dosage or not since I vomited literally everything up. I'll contact my local physician in the morning. So far, not a happy camper."

For Chlamydia Infection "Took the 2-gram powder 2 hours after a meal, and a little over an hour, I felt like I was going to die. I violently vomited, but the doctor told me that most of the medicine was already in my system and not to worry. He told me that feeling this terrible is actually quite common with this antibiotic, especially with this high dose. I actually had to return to the hospital where I got it because I wasn't sure what was going to happen to me. I'm on day 4, and these are the symptoms I am feeling: constant upset GI tract, stomach along with acid reflux, feeling hot, mainly in the face, feeling a little more tired than usual. I'm not experiencing diarrhea, but each time I pass stool, it feels like it is going to be diarrhea."

For Chlamydia Infection "I was told to take the 4 pink tablets just in case I do have it, since a guy's previous sexual partner gave him a call and said she tested positive. So I went in for a screening today just in case, and they decided to go ahead and treat me before receiving the lab results. Anyway, I felt exhausted after taking it and ended up taking a long nap. I woke up and then immediately felt the worst stomach pains EVER. Honestly, I feel like I could throw up any second now."

For Chlamydia Infection "I was a bit skeptical at first because of all the reviews, so I waited a day or so after I actually picked up the medicine to take it. So today I took the 1 GM powder packet. For one, it tasted disgusting, but I felt perfectly fine after I drank all of it. Out of nowhere, my abdomen started hurting, and then I threw up, and now I have explosive diarrhea. For Chlamydia Infection "I am currently 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant, and upon going for normal blood work required, I was diagnosed with chlamydia. I was prescribed 2 single-dose tablets in 500 mg. Took them and threw up 4 hrs later. For me, it makes it a lot harder since naturally I usually feel nauseated. I literally had to try and sleep or just lay down to avoid throwing the pills up too soon. I wanted to vomit as soon as I swallowed them. However, I'll take that because my health is way more important."

For Chlamydia Infection "I was diagnosed with chlamydia and was given two 500 mg pills to take at the clinic around 10 a.m. They said it'll make me nauseous. I was fine for two hours until I got home around 12 p.m. and started having sharp, stabbing stomach pains, the worst pain I've ever felt. I ended up going to the bathroom and throwing up. Then, right after that, I had to flush and ended up having watery diarrhea. I stayed in the bathroom an hour, doubled over from the stomach pains while sitting on the toilet still. The pain let up, and I took a nap for 2 hours and went to school. I got there around 3:50 and ended up going home 15 minutes later because the stomach pain came back, and I was literally crying, sitting on the toilet in the college locker room. I went home and have been in bed ever since. It's 12 a.m."
