"I used this for a while, then I switched over to another one. Was off of the Oxy for about 2 years. Decided to go back on it last year. Was only on it a short time and noticed that I would wake up with swollen eyes. Then, driving home from a trip from Colorado, my face and lips started to swell. I had to think about what I had eaten, then I remembered I had taken Oxy and figured that it was that causing my face, eyes, and lips to swell. I think it does work better than a few others. But now, I can't take the chance of the reaction I had."

"This medication did not work for me. I have been on just about every medication you listed, and none work. I also had a surgical procedure to insert a device that was supposed to help. I had this for two years and could never get it regulated enough to help. Besides that, the device was very uncomfortable, too, and I couldn't lie flat on my back for any length of time. So far, I have yet to find anything that helps. I am now getting Botox in the bladder. So we will see if that helps."

"I’ve been taking this medicine for a month now, 5 mg slow-releasing one taken every other day. The medication does seem to work, but personally, I have been getting really bad side effects from it. I have been feeling really tired with headaches, plus not feeling my usual self, my memory doesn’t seem to be the same as it was, and it just leaves you with a fuzzy head. I’ve been back to doctors, and they have lowered my dose to 2.5 mg to try and said if no better, to come back."

"I take 15 ml of Oxybutynin, one tablet per day. This medication works great on my bladder condition, but for me, it has a horrible side effect. My throat is so very, very dry. I must always have a water bottle with me so I can lubricate my throat. I am researching another medication without that side effect."

"Although I don't have to wear pads as much (usually do when I go out), I have a severe dry mouth. My tongue literally sticks to the roof of my mouth in the morning. When I use my CPAP, it has moisture, but is still dry."

Oxybutynin "I have Parkinson's and a prostatectomy. This medicine didn't relieve the frequent nighttime urination and caused negative mood changes (upset, anger) with swollen ankles and esophageal blockage."

"I made a comment back in 2014, and I am still taking the meds. They still work like a charm. I don't have the dry nose issue. I guess I am one of the lucky ones."

"I have been taking this med 10mg for about a month. Used to go to the bathroom every hour on the hour, with no sleep at all. I was so exhausted from not being able to get a full night's sleep. The medicine didn't start kicking in until about 2 weeks later. Now, I go 4-5 hours before I have to use the restroom. I'm so happy! I finally can go do things, and not have to worry about a bathroom. I did cut off all alcohol, cokes, spicy food, and sugary drinks. I have limited my chocolate, but I can sleep up to 5 hours at night, and have a normal day. No pads are needed, and no leakage. On the bad side, I do have dry mouth, dry and blurry eyes, but I take small sips of water in the daytime, and that helps with dry mouth, and use eye drops for my eyes as needed."
