Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Omgoodness, I have had yeast infections before, but never have I felt so much pain. It feels like someone poured hot sauce in my vagina. I swear this as I have cried for the last 10 minutes. Monistat 3 is the worst. This is a bad batch. I should have gotten Target brand. I'll be seeing the doc for Diflucan tomorrow. This is not right, people."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Oh gosh, the burn feels as if I rubbed extra hot hot sauce on my vagina. The unbearable itchiness of a yeast infection is gone at least, but I was groaning in pain after applying this yeast infection cream made in a volcano. Idk what's in it that causes the burn, but it's awful, and you'll be clawing the bathroom sink counter after putting it on."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Wow. What is this stuff? I have used Monistat before in the past, and it has never given me this side effect. I took it around 1:00, it is currently 1:25, and I am in so much pain. It feels like I have hot sauce, boiling water, and a jalapeño stuck in my lady parts. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. As I am pregnant, I can’t take the pill, so I resorted to this... I do not recommend this, whatever you do... please don’t take this. I would much rather deal with my yeast infection than to deal with the side effects of Monistat."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I agree with everyone else regarding the intense itchy feeling and pain right after inserting the cream, but it gets better after about 20 minutes. The trick is to use anti-itch cream or anti-itch wipes right after you apply the cream. These wipes were heaven-sent. My ob-gyn suggested the 7-day treatment because it's not as irritating as the 3-day one. This product works despite its annoying side effects, so do not stop using it if you can. After 1-2 treatments, the itchiness stopped during the day."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Stop. Don’t purchase it. I bought Monistat earlier today for this yeast infection. Put in the suppository around 11 pm. It is currently 12:55 am, and I have been up for an hour with the ABSOLUTE WORST BURNING SENSATION EVER! I wish to everything I would’ve read about this sooner because this is pain. This is itching. This is burning. My vajayjay is so raw and sore because I can’t help but want to get this all out. Please do not get it. It isn’t worth it. At. All."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is unreal. It is now 3:33, and I inserted this lava coal into my poor, unsuspecting coochie at 10:38. When I tell you I have a high pain tolerance, I have 21 piercings, several tattoos, and, well, a lot of trauma, which Monistat one day is now becoming. I was okay at first. I almost felt a lot of relief. Then, about two hours later, I am sweating and at the brink of tears at my work desk. I am writing this in the restroom at the point of vomiting due to this pain. Like the others said, if you’re reading this, it’s too late. This demon marble has set my vagina ablaze. It’s like Indiana Jones is running his torch around my woman cave. This stuff is dangerous for coochie everywhere. There's no way anyone that released this has a vagina. I am about to leave work now to go home and cry. I do not recommend this. This is 3000 times worse than the yeast infection. Please just go to your gyno instead. I know I will."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, I went to this site because the pain I'm experiencing after using Monistat 3 day is absolutely unbearable! I am 40 years old and have used this product at least 20 plus times! I have never experienced this level of pain. This product needs to be recalled. They have definitely added something to the original medication! It usually hurts a little after it drips out, but eventually the pain turns into a numbing feeling! I am never buying this product again. Also, the Monistat 1 day didn't work at all, that is why I tried the 3 day! These products need to be taken off the shelf, and I want my money back! We can't all be crazy!!"

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Terrible! I used a generic 3-day yeast suppository and felt relief with no side effects, but still had a bit of itching, so this time I tried Monistat 7 days. Had pain and burning, so bad I couldn’t sleep! I am not using the remainder of the Monistat."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, so this is my first time having a YI. I'm 17, and I was so scared at first! I told my sister my situation, and she recommended the Monistat 7, saying the others didn't work. Well, I'm on night 4 right now, and that pain is so horrible! The fact that you have to take the cream before bed makes it really hard for me to fall asleep. The pain gets so bad I have to distract myself so I won't burst out into tears. This has been such a long week, and I dread every night I have to go to bed."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It may cause terrible itching and pain due to the fact it's a way stronger dose, hinting it being used once instead of 7 times, but waiting it out, you'll see it clears up the yeast, and as it works, it's less intense."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Really wish I would have read the reviews before I bought it. The most horrible experience ever! First and last time using it! I hate medicines that are counterproductive. Before I started taking this, I merely was uncomfortable, and now I have full-on pain. The itch is unbearable. I had to attempt to wash it out, but even that didn't fully work. Moral of the story... always read the reviews."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I bought the Monistat 7 day pack. The first two days were not bad, but man, day three was the worst! Day three, I inserted the cream, and within 30 minutes, I felt unbearable burning and itching, like OMG! I attempted to try and go to sleep because I thought when I woke up, everything would be fine. The pain was so bad I couldn't even go to sleep. It got so bad my hands started shaking, and I almost cried! On a scale from 1 to 10, my pain went from 0 to 100 real quick! And it's crazy because the first two nights I inserted the cream, by morning I knew it had started to work because I continued to feel better both mornings, but day three had me never wanting to take Monistat again, like they should seriously remove this product off the shelves."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "First night using Monistat 7, burning like lava. Yesterday I had intense itching but didn't have the cream. Today the itching was almost gone, and I bought the medicine. I don't feel any itching, just immense burning sensation. I can handle it, but it's very uncomfortable and painful. Die fungus, die literally."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently laying in bed, dealing with the same intense itching and burning as everyone else. I am prone to yeast infections, and yes, this SUCKS! But ladies, this is just part of the medicine taking its course. Miconazole has ALWAYS cured my yeast infections. It's not the most pleasant thing, but a word of advice: if you think you have a yeast infection coming on, just get the miconazole right away, and it isn't nearly as bad if you treat it in the beginning. Sometimes I have tried to wait it out and have always regretted it, and the yeast infection gets worse, and then the medicine feels more intense and painful. If possible, the sooner the better in my experience. Also, never take the 1-day dose. 3-day or 7-day is the way to go."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "How has this not been recalled? The worst experience ever. I have used similar products in the past with no problems. This caused extreme burning and pain within minutes and did not improve until evening the next day. Just in time for day two dose. It was worse than the day before. I am afraid to try a day dose 3. No way this is minor irritation. DO NOT USE THIS!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am hysterically crying in pain right now from this. It was fine for the first hour after inserting, but as soon as I got up, it started dripping out of me, and I cannot explain the pain/discomfort I am experiencing. I have never experienced this type of burning/itching. I want to die right now."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Never in my entire life. I thought I should still continue putting the yeast infection cream in even though symptoms have subsided. Just no. Never again. It took only five minutes to feel like that nose vapor rub for when you’re sick was stuck in my vag. Luckily for me, I got it out in time (basically by pushing as hard as I could), and I ended up getting most of it actually out of me. I will never get this ever again. Not worth the pain."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m currently writing this review in bed, on my back, like I’ve been riding bareback for a week. My husband reluctantly got me an ice pack. Ladies, it feels like a blowtorch has been used inside my vajayjay, and the outside of it is SO itchy I feel like I should be handcuffed to make sure I don’t scratch! WTH is wrong with the 3-day cream?! I could handle the itch... it was at a 3 until I applied the external cream, and I’m at a 10 now. How am I going to sleep?! I’m debating washing it out. I literally sat on the toilet in shock, crying for ten minutes before I emerged complaining about how much pain I was in!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I looked at these reviews before using. I am in the worst pain I've ever felt in my entire life. I've been crying for the last hour, and it's about 1 a.m., and there's no chance I'm sleeping. This medicine is literally evil. I can't believe this is still on the shelves. 502 of these reviews rated Monistat a one. Where is Monistat's response to this? Absolutely terrible. The only thing helping the pain right now is reading that all of you went through the same thing."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Worst pain ever. I feel like a blow torch has been stuck up there and burning my lady business to pieces! I’ve used the Monistat before, but it was the capsule form. Today I just grabbed the cream, and that was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. 24 years old, and I feel like I’ll never have any relations ever again because of Monistat ruining me."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Don't do it! I am not sure what happened to this product, I used it years ago with zero problems. This time, after an hour of extreme burning and itching, I got online. As almost every woman on here said, I should have read the reviews first. Attempted to wash it all out, but I am laying here in terrible pain. I guess I won't be sleeping tonight. They should have to print a giant warning on the box."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "LADIES. The first two times I tried Monistat, I had an awful experience just like everyone else did. Such terrible burning and itching. I was afraid to take it again, but this most recent YI I got was just too awful to bear, and I knew Monistat had worked for me in the past, be it painful or not. This time it was fine! All I did differently was take ibuprofen so the swelling and pain would subside, and then lay in bed pants-less so the air could get down there and reduce the irritation and itchiness. After waiting a little while and letting all the aggravated skin settle, I then put in the applicator. The key is to NOT use the medication when your vagina is all irritated. Lay in bed and relax a little first."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Tonight is night 3. The first two nights didn't burn or itch. I thought tonight would be the same. After all, I've used this medicine several times before. Tonight was horrible. I inserted the applicator with cream and laid on my back in bed. About two minutes later, I was in pain! Maybe that was a burning that was turning to pain. I ran to the bathroom and tried to get the cream out. Still in pain, I came back to bed and tried to fan the area. Maybe some air would help. Wrong! Then I started googling and found this site. I've read many of these reviews, and it's been about an hour and a half. The pain is subsiding some now. Still there, but not as intense. On a scale of 1-10, it's maybe a 4 now, whereas it was a 10 an hour ago. Maybe my YI was really bad this time."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "No clue how effective it is, but I just took it the first time, and I am DYING. I have never felt an itch like this before in my life. This is the most pain I have ever been in, hands down. I would rather live with a yeast infection every day forever than take this stuff. Can't speak to its effectiveness and don't really care."

Miconazole topical for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, ladies, you’ve come here in search of why your coochie feels like it caught on fire and got put out with a fork. This awful cream's itch and pain will only intensify the more you scratch. Scratching makes small tears and will make your coochie even more mad. To help with the itching and burning, run a warm bath, hop in there to soothe it. Lightly wash the outer area with just water. After, you can purchase cooling wipes and use those as needed. But whatever you do, refrain from scratching down there. It will only intensify that ever-lasting flame in your vagina."
