For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Like. You know that feeling when you hear people saying your exact thoughts and you're just like 'YEAH!' 'Oh Em Gee!'? That's totally happening to me right now!!! I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE taking this beast of burden. It's like my vagina is screaming, crying, and all I can do is try to rock it to sleep. But the rocking and rolling I'm doing is doing nothing for my snatch. The only thing that's helped is reading all of these reviews. Now I'm crying for two different reasons."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am laying in bed, vag on fire, can't sleep because of this horrendous medicine. I am on day 3, and I will not finish the full regimen. It is absolutely shameful that the company is marketing and selling this product as is. Clearly, there's been a change in the formula-something's not right."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I had a time machine so I could rewind to an hour ago and read these reviews first. My vagina is on fire!!!! I wasn’t sure if I had a yeast infection, but I’ve had itching and burning the past few days, so I picked this up hoping for some relief. Now I’m laying here praying for the sweet release of pain. I tried to tolerate it, but after ten minutes I couldn’t take it anymore and washed it off. Then I got up in there with a mirror and my vagina is red. Like fire engine red. And so, so swollen, and the itching and burning is unreal. Please, let the tale of my burning red vagina be your red flag. Run far away from this aisle and never return."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was told by my doctor that I had a mild yeast infection, and they only had given me two pills for it. I resorted to using Monistat to finish the job. I’ve been using this for four days now, and I’m not having any issues. I do have to point out that the package says, “may increase itching and burning,” and on the first day I was itching a decent amount 5 minutes after I used it, and for 10 minutes the next morning. But it wasn’t excruciating, and it was easy to ignore. Luckily, I never had any pain whatsoever. It says to lay down once you insert the cream, so if you get up, walk around, or go to the bathroom, then that may cause leakage and problems. Also, I suggest wearing panty liners when using this cream because it comes out throughout the day. But as far as I’m aware, my yeast infection is completely gone after 4 days of the cream! It does its job. Maybe me taking the tablets first made my experience better than most."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm 6 months pregnant and this is the first time I got a yeast infection. My stupid doctor didn't give me any instructions, I just used Vagisil for the itching for a week. Finally, she told me to use an anti-fungal cream, so I tried Monistat. After you insert it, the suffering is monumental. OMG. I put it in right before bed and lay on my back with my knees up for about 15 minutes. I swear it felt like my insides were on fire. On top of that, the entire area feels so itchy. It's so intense. I've never felt anything that uncomfortable. I'm giving it 8/10 because the next day the entire infection had really reduced, and it kept getting better really quick. But every night I used it, the intense burning, itching, crappy feeling lasted a good 15 minutes."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Stick with it, ladies. Night 1 and 2 were so bad I thought something was wrong, and then I found this site and was relieved I wasn’t alone. It got much better night 3, barely any discomfort. Now on night 4, and I don’t feel a thing. Hopefully I’m on the downside of this nightmare."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If I went and visited a volcano and accidentally fell in, at least I would know what it would feel like. I’ve never given birth, but I would rather go through that pain than to continue with this product. I don't know if I should stay strong and power through. I’m 2 hours in and have literally been screaming nonstop. $18 is a lot to waste when you’re a college student like me. Us women are strong as anything, but we shouldn't have to go through something like this to prove it!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The Monistat 7 actually works, but you have to be really patient with it. As soon as you insert it, it burns, and the only thing in your mind is washing it away. It’s really hard to keep it on because it feels like it worsens. Be patient, it will go away, always like 30 minutes later."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So the previous reviews are true! The first day using the cream was awfully itchy and irritating for about 30 minutes. The second day was not bad at all, with just very subtle bursts of itchiness, and the third day (today), I didn't feel anything! I put off treating my yeast infection for too long, and enough was enough. I am sure that the itching/burning is just the infection being killed. Hang in there, ladies!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It is my first time to use Monistat 7, and I will never EVER buy this product again. I have tried another Monistat when I was pregnant but forgot which one, that is why I ended up with this. Right now I’m still breastfeeding, that is why I am using this brand, otherwise, I will use Canesten. This is torture. The fact that I have an infection is bad enough, but this one is burning and itching 20 times more that I had to wash down using ice-cold water. If you aren’t pregnant or breastfeeding, spare yourself from this pain."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m 5 months pregnant and had a mild yeast infection. My doctor told me to use this, so I did. It went away in 2 days. I’m still using it to finish off the 7, just in case anything, but I haven’t had any issues. It does have a slight burn when you first put it in, but nothing else. Cost $13 for the 7-day with the anti-itch cream."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I believe the ladies who said they felt better after using this must work for the company, and they are lying. I'm 38, and this is my first time using this, and I'm on fire. I thought the 7-day would be better because I've used 3- and 1-day before... all made me absolutely miserable. Whyyyyyy is it so awful? I want to use the remaining applicators to flush my vagina with water. It's taking all my might to write you ladies, but I needed to warn the next victim. Honestly, it's worth just waiting the next day to go to the clinic and get Diflucan."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "At first, I ignored it because I assumed it was working and fighting the yeast, but a minute or two after inserting the applicator filled with cream inside my vagina, it started to burn. It was burning, stinging, and itching all at the same time very badly. My vagina felt like it was on fire. I wiped some of the product out of me, but it is still burning. I have used Monistat in the past, but I have never had this issue. Have they changed something in the formula?"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, so it's my first night on Monistat 7. And let me tell you, I applied and inserted the cream, and I don't know if I inserted it too far, but it said to do it as far as you can to prevent leaking. After I inserted the cream, I was like, 'pssshh, what was my sister talking about? This really doesn't even burn.' Then it happened. My vagina was ON FIRE. I tried to lay down and immediately jumped up and ran to the bathroom; it was oozing out and still is, even laying down. It still burns, but I can say about an hour into it, it slightly has eased off. But it still feels like there is so much heat. But ladies, we got this. Let's get through these 7 days and kick Monistat's A$$."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Tonight is night 3. The first two nights didn't burn or itch. I thought tonight would be the same. After all, I've used this medicine several times before. Tonight was horrible. I inserted the applicator with cream and laid on my back in bed. About two minutes later, I was in pain! Maybe that was a burning that was turning to pain. I ran to the bathroom and tried to get the cream out. Still in pain, I came back to bed and tried to fan the area. Maybe some air would help. Wrong! Then I started googling and found this site. I've read many of these reviews, and it's been about an hour and a half. The pain is subsiding some now. Still there, but not as intense. On a scale of 1-10, it's maybe a 4 now, whereas it was a 10 an hour ago. Maybe my YI was really bad this time."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "No clue how effective it is, but I just took it the first time, and I am DYING. I have never felt an itch like this before in my life. This is the most pain I have ever been in, hands down. I would rather live with a yeast infection every day forever than take this stuff. Can't speak to its effectiveness and don't really care."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had mild itch, so, like everybody else, bought the 7-day treatment. The first day I applied, and man, did it burn and itch. I just thought that it was because it was reacting to the yeast infection and it would only get better. Man, was I wrong! I am now on the 3rd day, and it feels just as worst as the 1st day after I insert the medicine. I can't do this for another 4 nights. Definitely stopping the medicine after today, I simply can't. The burning and itching is VERY uncomfortable and hurts. 10x worse than the itch during the day."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have not had a YI in about 20 years. Since I know the symptoms, when I felt irritated and itchy down there, although I had no discharge, I figured it was a YI, and to get the Monistat 7 cream. 20 years ago, it was not available over the counter, only through prescription. The first night, within minutes, the burning and itching started, and I was extremely uncomfortable. After a few hours, it stopped. Tonight is Day 2, and after insertion, I have no itching or burning sensation like I did the first night. I will continue to use all of this product for the entire 7 nights. Actually, there is no reaction at all on night 2. I guess the medicine started working after the first night. Hang in there and give it a chance."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I read a lot on the medicine before taking it and asked my doctor about it as well. I am aware that the burning and itching are worse if you were scratching or rubbing the irritation of the infection before you got the medicine. When you do finally take the medicine, it'll cause burning and more itching for a few minutes, but it's only because it was irritated. And in some cases, if it's caught late, it'll cause the burning as well. Mine was caught early, luckily, and my godmom had given me advice on it, so I was aware I had it due to the itching, but I didn't scratch or rub it because she told me not to irritate it even more. I feel much better now."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So despite reading these reviews, I had to still use it due to being pregnant. It did not burn me like these other women say. It did itch a little, but that just means it's working. Definitely not as bad for me as some people described it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My doctor prescribed this to me in high school when you had to have a prescription to get it. I have been using Monistat 7, Monistat 1, and Monistat 3 since high school, and I am now 47. I have never had a burning sensation until this time. I honestly believe someone has tampered with this product, as Monistat is not supposed to burn. You can insert it anytime. The only thing normally was that it would leak. No burning. Depending on how bad the yeast infection was, it might tingle, but that was it. Big pharmaceutical probably bought them out to keep us paying for prescribed medicine. This time my applicators were blue instead of white... Dead giveaway. Monistat applicators have always been white. If you get blue, don’t use."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm on day 3 of this product. The first two nights were horrible. The burning and itching was so bad I wanted to cry. It was an itch like I've NEVER felt! Worse than the yeast infection itself. But the reason for 6 stars instead of 1 is because I rarely have any itchiness during the daytime, and my discharge is back clear, so I think it's working. Will update on day 7."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm so happy I found these reviews! I've always bought the generic brand, and I never felt like this! But after Monistat 3, oh my gosh, my vagina is on fire, what the?! It's been 6 hours, and I took a cold bath to make it better; okay, it's a little better... Don't put the cream on the outside; it makes it worse. Debating if I want to go through this pain for 2 more days... but assuming it's burning because it's working? I wonder why it never burned with the generic brand? Good luck, girls."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I had a yeast infection, and I tried Monistat 7 day, and it worked as soon as I inserted it. It was a slight burn, nothing that was just horrible, but when I woke up, there was no itching, no smell, not a lot of discharge, and this was just the first day. I thought it wasn’t going to work because of all the negative comments, but it really does work, and it’s great. It is now my second day, and when I inserted it, I felt no burn at all. This product is awesome."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm 8 months pregnant. I used this at night, laying down as instructed. I was fine until I had to pee. I came back from the restroom, and some leaked out, and now my vag is on fire, inside and out. I will not be continuing this med, which my OB suggested."
