For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Monistat 7 Night 2: Felt better during the day but not 5 minutes after insertion it's as if a swarm of Mosquitos and a family of chiggers decided to break bread within my vagina but were subsequently removed by an invasion of fire ants who are drunk off Fireball and like to play with matches. I'm afraid to move with disrupting the fire ants. They're an aggressive breed."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I followed the directions, inserted the cream internally and externally to really cover all bases. 3 minutes had gone by and the intensity of the itching that began was like no other itching my vagina has ever itched. Being this is the first time I’m using this product I immediately think I’m having a bad reaction so I google side effects. Itching is listed. I then stumbled upon the reviews and I wish I had read these prior. Instant regret. The itching had become so severe. All I could do was focus on the itching while wiggling around on my couch trying to refrain from scratching. I was tempted to take a bath like many other reviewers had done but I’m glad I chose to ride it out. Within the hour the itching subsided and I know I have the correct dose in me. So if you found yourself here like I did by having a severe itch attack after applying - THERE IS HOPE that it will subside. My itch did. "

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was on (2) antibiotics because of a toothache. The antibiotics caused a yeast infection. The day I noticed the infection was when it was painful to wipe. I went and purchased monistat 7 because it was low dosage over a few days which seemed reasonable because my infection did not seem severe. I used the inserted cream 7 nights straight, refrained from sex, and it cleared by the 6th day. It is uncomfortable at night. I was very fidgety, and the topical cream I only used twice because it felt too hot on me. The first two days after treatment, my vagina still felt wonky (medicine was still leaking) but there was no pain or itch. 3rd day after the 7 day treatment, everything is back to normal. Though super annoying, it was totally effective and worth it in my experience."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m 8 months pregnant with an YI and I thought it would go away on it’s own but that was the biggest mistake ever!! I started the Monistat 7 tonight and the burning made me cry. I don’t want the YI cause the itching irritates my soul but the burning is definitely no better"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I know Monistat 7 gets a lot of hate, but it works. The box says you may experience a mild increase in itching and burning, and I've found a way to decrease it. The first night I used it I just lay down with a pad on and it felt fine, but when it started to leak, the outside of my vagina felt like it was covered in termite bites. Worse case scenario, the itching subsides after an hour. I'm in the middle of my seven day treatment and I've found what works best is literally shoving a towel into your underwear to basically clog the leak. This product should NOT touch the outside of your vagina, despite what the box says. In the morning, if it leaks it DOES NOT burn, it's just the initial hour. Please do not let this deter you from buying this product. My vagina was so swollen from my yeast infection I would start to cry when I wiped. The morning after my first application, no itching, no swelling, no pain. This product WORKS, just make sure not to let any leak out."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Day 1- I inserted Monistat laying down and put it on the vulva and labia, then went to get up to do my night time routine (BAD IDEA). The intense burning started immediately and lasted for about an hour. From a scale of 1 to 10, the pain was about an 8. I wanted to get better, so I sucked it up and just went to sleep. Day 2: The next day, I woke up with a swollen vagina. It hurt to pee and walk. I was uncomfortable the entire day and just wanted this to end. I made sure to do my night routine, insert the cream laying down and go straight to sleep. Surprisingly, there was no burning sensation this night. It was easier. Day 3: It didn’t hurt to pee this time. There’s still minor swelling and redness, but not as bad as day 2. I think it really is working, so I’m going to continue it. The foul smell is still there, but it’s probably because I still need to finish it. Ladies, I know it burns and I know it freaking sucks!!! But, get through it, finish it, and get better."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have used Equate 7 Day before with success, did have some burning a bit when I inserted, but it was tolerable. I used Monistat 7 last night and within two hours I was awake with unbelievable BURNING and itching. I couldn't sleep, it was so uncomfortable. The pain I felt was enough that I almost panicked. I wiped off as much as I could and used a cool rag to help. I finally got an ice pack and put that there for 20 minute increments. It was miserable. I was up for hours, then finally was able to sleep around 4 a.m. I feel swollen and irritated this morning, with some itching but I walk like I've got on a full diaper. I'm seriously not sure what to do now....can't do another night like that."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I gave this a 10 because it definitely works BUT if I had to rate the overall experience I would give it a 2. Literally only keeping it above 0 because it is effective. The internal itching you get using this stuff is unbearable! The first night is always the absolute worst and it gradually gets better every night after. After night 3 there usually isn’t much itching or burning. But MY GOODNESS, you would think there was a way to make this work without the discomfort or something they could provide you to ease the discomfort."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Okay, I had a mild YI and almost didn't take this stuff because of the horrifying reviews. So, for three weeks, I tried probiotics, apple cider vinegar, a yeast cleanse supplement, oregano oil, coconut oil, and eliminating all sugar (even fruit). I definitely recommend this method for weight loss, but the YI remained. While contemplating sticking a clove of garlic...up there...I realized I was being ridiculous, and it was time for modern medicine. Day 1: inserted the cream before bed and prayed that fire ants were not about to populate my nether region. I felt...a warm sensation?...for maybe ten minutes...then RELIEF! The next morning (upon standing up) resulted in a mass exodus of cottage cheese and medication from my nether region (sorry, if you're googling this, you've already seen worse), but zero discomfort. Day 2: same - no warm sensation - just relief. Less of a dramatic morning stand-up, but a smaller yeast evacuation. Day 3: no signs of YI Day 4: no signs of YI - debating stopping the medication, but it is seven-day for a reason. Day 5: YI is a thing of the past. What's yeast? Day 6: taking the medication is now a superfluous yet instinctive part of my bedtime routine. Day 7: FINALLY"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Don’t let the product run out/touch your vulva is the KEY! I have a very mixed review actually. The first time I used it I felt an unbearable amount of burning and itching most gals are describing. So bad I literally showered and washed until it all came out. Stubborn me, the next night I decided to give it another shot since I came across someone (genius in my book lol) who said it won’t burn/itch as long as it doesn’t touch the vulva or outside of the vagina. THIS IS SO TRUE! I inserted the cream, laid right down with my knees bent up so the product flowed down into my V, not out. Do not walk around or pee! VAGINA LIFE SAVER FOLKS."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "16 weeks pregnant here, and monistat 7 is the safest while pregnant. I was advised not to take Difulcan. So bought the 7 day one, and my god....this is what hell must feel like. It burned so bad that I had to fall asleep with an ice pack down there. It burned the first 3 nights, but everyday I did notice the YI symptoms were subsiding. I inserted the 4th last night, and didn't feel any discomfort. Must mean the infection is almost gone. I notice it burns more when the cream leaks out of you onto the vulva. Make sure you push is all the way up so it doesn't leak out as much. Since I have noticed results, I'll be finishing the 7 days. I'm also taking a probiotic along with it. Ice down there if you need to. It honestly makes a huge difference."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Who ever thought you could just tell women to take this product monistat 7 before be bed is a cold person. Did you really think anyone could sleep with the itchy and burning vagina?? I am so annoyed and my feelings are so hurt right now that you would allow any women to endure this feeling for some dollars.. Who approved this to be on the selves at the store? I wouldn't wish this feeling on my worst enemy. My first and last time taking this product. This is day two and it was worst than last night I am a fool for going for it twice. When you guys put the side affects on the box do not sugar coat it - talking about minor itch or burning etc. Let us know ...side affects my ass it causes you to want to have your vagina removed. RIP to my vagina "

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am on night 4, 3 more nights of this intense itching after insertion of this devils cream. If you can get through the itch it lasts 30-40 minutes. It feels fine after that, it doesn't help on day 3 of my period. This is the first YI I've had and I'm 46. I have no burning but the itching OMG!! It's mostly after I put the cream in though.Just to think I was excited about starting this cream too."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After reading the label I found that it says the burning and itching will increase even more so than what you have already been experiencing. This product is VERY strong and I’ve found the worse your YI is, or the more prolonged amount of time it took you to treat it, it will make the side effects even worse. I tried to tough it out for about 45 minutes before I couldn’t stand the pain anymore and rinsed as much as I could out, within another 45 minutes I was starting to feel a little better. It was awful. I’m on day 2, this time I’m in the same position, laying on my back, legs up but instead of inserting the full amount at once, I’m slowly releasing the product in a little at a time. Like I’m talking a slight push on the syringe every 5 minutes or so. It seems to be helping, still a little irritating but NOTHING compared to day 1. Good luck ladies"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Currently 8 months pregnant and have had mild YI symptoms for about 2 weeks at first. Then came the itching with swollen bits and the burn from itching. Around the time they first started, I told my doctor and she recommended this. I was hesitant and thought maybe it would go away on it's own but it didn't. Now, I've taken Monistat 3 before I was pregnant and do NOT remember it being this bad. I just used my first dose of the 7 day treatment and my hootenanny is on 10!!!! The burning and itching is worse than it was before I took it!! I'm currently laying here, spread eagle with a pillow under my butt. This is horrible. I'm not sure I can last 7 days using this."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am in literal living nightmare. I caught a yeast infection from sex with a lover and I am laying in bed cursing both the day he was born and Monistat. This is an awful cream. My lady bits itch like I made love to poison ivy while simultaneously burning like a wildfire. I GAVE BIRTH WITHOUT DRUGS and I would do it again before using this cream. So mad at my lover and Monistat 7."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So I started taking a strong antibiotics which caused me to get a yeast infection. I called my gyno and the nurse recommended Monistat 7. I put it in last night as I was laying down for bed and it did not bother me at all. I did get nervous because on the end of the stick was a little pink blood from inserting. I got up for work this morning at 6 and still not really anything. Then around 9 o’clock at work the itch has been horrible! I mean I’ve never felt anything like this. It’s now 11 and it’s not as bad but a little irritable. I was starting to think there was something really wrong with me until I found this post and realized I’m not alone. If it makes it go away completely then I’ll say it’s worth it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If anyone is wondering how long it will take before symptoms start to improve, it took me 2.5 days before I experienced any improvement at all, and the itchiness started to subside. I'd used it twice (2 doses), and the itch got somewhat better about 4-5 hours before my 3rd dose of cream. The directions say to contact a doctor if you have no improvement after 3 days, so don't panic if you are well into 2 days and haven't improved. Also, I did experience some increased itching and burning that was uncomfortable on the first night (but not horrible), and improves each night. I just inserted my 3rd dose, and the side effects tonight have not been bad at all. I did notice that Monistat makes an ointment treatment for sensitive skin that has a different active ingredient, so if you are very raw and irritated from your infection, you may want to consider looking for that. It seems that the more irritated and raw you are, the more the treatment will itch and burn."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Don’t let the other comments scare you! I thought I had a yeast infection but waited about two days to be sure, meaning it developed to be pretty bad. I was concerned that it would burn (most people on here said it did... BAD) but the first night I had no burning. The itch increased slightly but it was very bearable. The next day after night 1, it was slightly itchier but definitely worth it. I am on day two and all symptoms are almost completely gone!!! Will continue for the total time just incase but definitely would recommend."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It works. The worse that your YI is, the worse it will hurt. As the inside of your vaginal area heals the less discomfort you experience. I am pregnant with my first child and this is my first YI. I have tried all natural ACV and coconut oil and tea tree and baking soda, prescriptions and AZO. All slowed the YI symptoms but not killing the candida. I'm on day 6 on the monistat 7. There wasn't much discomfort like the first 3 days. And the symptoms of my YI are basically gone. They recommend pregnant women to finish the whole treatment to fully kill the infections. It does work. Wish I would have tried it first. But I'm an all natural girl i had to try all the safe ways first."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Had my first YI in ten years and decided to get the Monistat 3 day treatment. I had been mildly itchy for 3 days prior but nothing crazy. Within a few minutes of my first application and I experienced severe itching the likes of which I had never thought possible! I was writhing and moaning so bad for 30-40 minutes that my husband thought I was possessed. Thankfully he researched that taking a Zyrtec minimizes the itchiness and I took one and felt better but still itchy. It’s 2 am now and the only thing helping me cope is reading these reviews. I’m probably going to call my gyno tomorrow and get an appointment. I can’t take another night like this and I’m sure my husband can’t either."

Just like one of the reviews said, I’m spread eagle using my hand held fan we used as giveaways for our wedding to calm down the BURNING and ITCHING. My YI wasn’t close to this bad. I hope this first application calms my YI down cause I can’t bear 6 more days!! I will say reading these reviews helped distract me and I don’t feel so alone on this crazy ride we women endure!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok so I totally get what everyone is saying. Day 1 was THE WORST. After I applied it I laid in bed almost crying because it was so uncomfortable. It was like a tingly, burning, itch deep inside that I could not get to. My boyfriend thought I was dying and I ended up in the shower rinsing it off. After talking to some co workers who get them all the time she said my vaginal area was probably so raw. I am currently sitting here on day 2. So much better! Just some mild itching! I promise it gets better! Stick with it girls!"
