For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After inserting, I did my nightly routine and went to sleep. I woke up at midnight to pee. I forgot I had the medicine in. Oh my goodness, that pee was the worst pain ever. It felt like I was peeing out lava. Wiping hurt too. I went back to bed with burning! Slight cramping. Now, I have used this product before. It's only day 1, and I can't sleep. My estimate is that it's raw inside my hooha due to the YI. That could explain the burning. Thankfully, I'm not itching as much. The pain is a solid 8.5, and I'm going to take some Advil. Hopefully, that eases the pain a bit. This time, I WILL complete the full 7 days. Good luck to me and whoever else is dealing with this!!!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "BAD - BUT it gets better. There’s a trick to it. My first day and experience with this product was a nightmare. It felt like I let fire ants loose in my lady bits. I was crying with my legs up in the air, googling side effects to see what was wrong. Then I came across this board and saw everyone describing my exact horrible situation. BUT I also saw the ladies who had some good tips and said it got better. I realized I didn’t apply the medication far enough in, and I stood up to brush my teeth immediately after. Those were my two big mistakes. Tonight, day two of Monistat 7, and I pushed the applicator in further, which did give me minimal cramping. I also stuck a pillow under my hips. The key seems to be not letting this product leak out of the vaginal canal or anywhere further. I will use this product again, but I wish I knew the consequences of improper application BEFORE I started."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm still using this, but I wanted to share my experience because the horror stories here terrified me so much (this was my first YI, caused by antibiotics). I was just sticking coconut oil in and hoping for the best. It did help, but it wasn't getting rid of the YI totally, and I didn't want it to get worse. I had some coconut oil around there from before, and I applied the anti-itch cream beforehand. I think both helped (the lubrication particularly). And then, because I read that it was getting the cream outside you that really burns, I stuck a towel between my legs and clamped down. I experienced a warm sensation, a bit of cramping, but no difference in itching, and nothing I would describe as burning. I think having been using the coconut oil definitely made things easier, it was WAY worse a few days ago. I was so sore and irritated I was basically lying with a fan between my legs. I'd say take some precautions if you're worried, but everyone's experience is different."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Took this for a YI. I wasn't even burning from the infection itself, but the cream has made me feel like I went for a ride on Satan's crotch, and then my vagina was dipped in the lake of eternal fire. The burning is so awful. I wish I had never used this product. This is torture. Even my abdomen is cramping. I read that can be a side effect, but my goodness, this is crazy. I am never using this product again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First time user... Never again!!! Never. My yeast infection was very minimal. First night it burned like crazy and itched to the point where I had to soak in a bathtub to keep from clawing my vagina off. Second night I had such bad cramps that I just stopped. Third day my discharge has increased. I made an appointment with the gyno and was cured with one pill."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Honestly, I'm shocked by the amount of negative reviews I'm seeing for this product. I'm only on night 2, however, this and last night were supposed to be the worst, and I didn't feel anything. No increased itching or burning - if anything, it was soothing. My symptoms are much better (not gone fully), but I'm already feeling relief. The only time this product felt uncomfortable was when I got it outside of my vagina on my vulva - DON'T LISTEN TO THE LABEL! This does not soothe your exterior at all, if anything, it makes it worse. The only thing I would recommend is don't get up and walk around with this product in. If you're going to use it during the day, get comfy, because it'll leak and seriously irritate your exterior. I do feel slight cramping after taking it, and there was a bit of throbbing, but it was more of a sensation than actual pain. Some of the bad reviews sound like they could be allergic reactions."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Pretty sure I have a yeast infection (never went to the doctor), but I itched SOOO bad down there, it was literally unbearable, and I stunk so bad it was gross. Just sitting down with closed legs, I could smell myself, and it was so embarrassing. I tried to let it go thinking it would go away, but it didn’t, so I tried Monistat 7. This is only the second day, and let me tell you, the odor is totally gone and so is the itchiness. I wish I would’ve tried this a long time ago. It works great, ladies. I did cramp a little after using it, but it’s sooooo freaking worth it. I recommend it to everyone. Don’t listen to the bad reviews."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The song 'Fire' comes to mind. After inserting the cream, immediate pain, itch, and burning. I thought I was going to die and became short of breath. I showered, I prayed for God's mercy, and it worked. There was some cramping, but mild."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I started treatment with Monistat 7 as soon as I felt itchiness starting - partly because I was expecting it since I just finished taking an antibiotic. Very mild burning on day 1. Less on day 2. By day 3, no more burning - but today is day 3, so I can't report if it worked yet. I had cramps yesterday morning, which is unusual for me. Not too much medicine leakage, you do need to wear a pantiliner."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The first night of taking this medicine, I had a HORRIBLE burning/itching experience for the first few hours after inserting it... and I thought the YI was bad! Then finally it subsided. I'm on night 3 of using it, and I haven't had any burning like I did the first time that I used it (though I do have the abdominal cramping at times like they said I might have). The symptoms I had from the YI seem to be disappearing too. I hear Monistat 1 and 3 are a lot worse. I wouldn't want to see what taking those is like! This was enough for me!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have recently gotten my very first yeast infection. At first, I tried apple cider vinegar soaks. It temporarily halted the itching but came back 30 minutes to an hour later. Three days of this, my mother suggested Monistat 7. I am only on day 2, and I'm quite pleased the itching went down almost 90% and almost no discharge. I also bought some Vagisil medicated wipes for the small bit of itching. I've read quite a bit of reviews that said it burned so bad, however, I didn't have that experience. It felt a little warm, and I had a small bit of cramping about 30 minutes after the application (it only lasted about 15 minutes). Nothing too serious. But I was able to sleep through the night without waking up to itch."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I want to die, that’s how I feel right now. I can only sleep on one side because I got my flu shot, and I put in a Monistat 7 (day 2), and I can not sleep. I’m cramping so bad."
