For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The worst thing ever! I swear my vagina was on fire! I had to immediately get in the shower and try to wash it off. I’ve never experienced severe burning on my vagina. I was damn near in tears, it burned so bad. Do not use! It’s not worth it!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It’s currently 10:54 pm, and I have been in agony since around 10 when I inserted this fireball into my vagina. If mystery had an embodiment, it would be this. I am on fire. I am itching. I get chronic YI, so treatment is NOT new to me, and I’ve never experienced this pain ever. I have to pee, and I’m afraid to get up. I’m afraid I’ll disturb the rest of the medicine if I do. I can’t pee, fart, sit up, lay down, nothing without reigniting the agony. This is miserable. Please, save yourself. It burns so bad that laying in bed, my body is literally twitching involuntarily."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Right after inserting the cream, I felt burning and pain to a degree that I could not have predicted or imagined, especially since this isn't my first time using it and I didn't have this reaction before. After a couple of hours, it feels somewhat better, but damn, I wanted to take my skin off just to get relief."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "After 4 weeks of antibiotics and prednisone, I developed the dreaded YI. Got the Monistat 3 to hopefully resolve the issue by Monday morning. After inserting the cream, I feel like someone has taken a steak knife to my insides and dumped a bottle of hot damn inside to rinse it out. Sure I was going to pass out, I reached for my phone to find others with similar experiences. This is more effective than the Sunday sermon. Repenting of my sins now, I've taken pills and hope to pass out soon."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My experience has been horrible. I completed all three doses, and each time was overwhelmed by intense itching and burning. By the third dose, I was up half the night, miserable. It didn't even help with the infection. I will never be buying this again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Didn't take the medicine for 2 or 3 days after reading the reviews, kept putting it off. Did it last night, woke up, the itching went down at least 90%, swelling is down 50%. I was scared of the intense itching and burning people said they got from taking this. I counted down the first hour, waited, nothing ever burned or intensified. I found laying down irritated me more, so I sat up in my bed. It helped keep the medicine in too. Seems when the cream touches your vulva, that's when it becomes irritated the most. If it came out, I wiped it off. Quickly found that religiously applying organic refined coconut oil eased the itch from the very beginning. Seems to be very effective after one day. Some people put coconut oil on a tampon, I just applied inside and out. Also, I used a tiny bit of hydrocortisone. I didn't have itch relief cream with my Monistat 3, so the next day I tried Vagisil medicated anti-itch wipes, and those burned worse for me."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "OMG, why did I not read reviews prior to buying this stuff? I haven’t had a yeast infection in years but knew after taking antibiotics for strep that I had developed one. Figured instead of going to the doctor, I would try Monistat 3 day since I have used their products before with no problems. Not even 2 minutes after inserting this stuff, my vagina felt like the gates of an inferno were at the door shooting fireballs at me. I literally thought I was having some crazy allergy reaction. The burning and itching have been unbearable. It's been approximately 40 minutes now, and the burning has subsided to just mild inferno! The itching is still going strong. No way am I going to go for rounds 2 and 3. I would rather deal with the mild symptoms I had than ever go through this again. My vagina hates me right now!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Went out and bought a 3-day pack. I'm 5 months pregnant and was recommended by a pharmacist. Came home, and insertion alone made me burst into tears. Not sure if because I'm so raw/swollen or due to the medication. However, I bought the anti-itch/anti-burning wipes and quickly went over the affected area. That seemed to have helped with the burning and itching. I grabbed an ice pack (wrapped in a towel) and have been sitting on it, which has helped a lot! Everything is cold and numb, lol... relief to the fullest! About 45 minutes after insertion and having the ice pack numb me up, I applied the topical cream that comes with the 3-day combo pack. It's been about 2 hours, and I am not burning or itching!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This product burned my insides like crazy. I am very much in pain thanks to it and extremely disappointed. It is almost impossible to wash out. I tried using only part of the dosage, and my reaction was still a scorching pain."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you have bad anxiety, know that the burning is normal!! Deep breath, sweet pea! Probably take an anxiety med before or immediately after. I was super itchy in my downstairs and figured it was a yeast infection, and I chose the 3-day because 7 seemed too long, but 1 seemed unlikely. After using this, my crotch was itching and burning so badly I was on the verge of tears and was starting to free fall into a panic attack, but I was able to calm down. Seeing the reviews and that the burning is 'normal' is also helping me calm down. I gave my downstairs a rinse with some warm water and changed liners, which helped it calm after a bit, and now I am laying very still in bed with my laptop. I do believe it is helping me, but I suppose it's too soon to truly know."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "First time ever experiencing YI. My Dr. prescribed a 3-day treatment, but when I went to pick it up, they said my insurance doesn't cover it and it'll cost $375. Should've seen the look on my face. The pharmacist told me to just grab the over-the-counter ones. 1st day treatment had me SCREAMING, CRYING to GOD for help, JUMPING around all over my room like a swarm of fire ants found its way up my vagina! My brother checked on me to see what was going on. I yelled at him, saying, 'I HATE BEING A WOMAN!' And he just slowly backed up out of the room and closed my door. My 2nd day wasn't too bad. I was more prepared after finding/reading up on these reviews. I popped some ibuprofen, 2 probiotics, and 2 oxy that I had left over from a past surgery. Passed out like a baby. The next day, the itching and burning wasn't a big issue. The YI kind of cleared up. I'm on my 3rd day today. Did the same exact steps as day 2. Writing this review before I slowly doze off."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I read the reviews before applying because I would have never applied it. It is painful and burning, and I don't understand how it's allowed on shelves. Please never buy this. There's a 50% chance you will feel this hot Cheeto inflammation instead of relief."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My husband went and got me the three-day Monistat tonight because I have been having some really bad itching. Well, I inserted it and went to bed. Less than 10 minutes later, I jumped out of bed in excruciating pain. I mean, the burning is soooooo unbearable, I am literally in tears. I sat over the toilet and started pushing and wiping with tissue and got a chunk of it out, but I'm still in much pain from the burning. I tried letting the cold shower run over and up into me, and that only helped a bit. What has happened to this brand? I have used this in the past, and all I ever felt was a bit mushy in my panties at night from the cream. I am now having mild cramps and just want to tear my whole vagina out and throw it in the garbage. I will NOT be using this again. Ever!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I finished an antibiotic and normally will get a yeast infection. I used Monistat 3 for the yeast infection last night. Within 5 to 10 minutes, I was burning like I was on fire. I was up all night with no relief. By morning, it finally stopped burning and felt somewhat better. I made the mistake of using the Monistat 3 again tonight, thinking that I was better. The same thing happened again, and I find myself again in excruciating burning. I got in the bathtub and was able to finally get some slight relief. I also took some children's Benadryl and hope it will help. I am still in pain as I write this review and hopefully it will stop burning soon. I will never, ever use this product again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This was horrible. The burning is so bad, and I wish I had read this feed before inserting it in me. Almost immediately after inserting this, the burning began. I've been in and out of the tub trying anything to remove it from my insides. Never use this product. I honestly don't understand why or how this is still being sold. Bathing and removing it seems to be the only thing actually helping the insane burning. NOT WORTH IT. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "WISH I COULD RATE 0 STARS. I've used Monistat 7 before, and it burnt my parts like hellfire, but I would gladly face that again rather than experience the absolutely UNBEARABLE itching that Monistat 3 caused. I'm glad to know that I am not alone in this experience."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Wow! As soon as I put the tube in and pulled up my undies, I started a damn fire in my vagina! I can't really explain, I think with the pain, I blacked out and knocked out. I woke up 3 hours later to feel like my vagina is sore and painful! I did Monistat 1 before, and never did I feel this ever. Then I tried Monistat 3, and it feels like I lit a damn torch up there! I don't even think I'll do the second night because it burned so much. I'm scared, and why the freak would I put myself in that position again? I did not feel any relief, it still burns, and I think I messed up my vagina more than what was going on with it before. Do not try it - just go to the doctors! Run away from all Monistat! Run!!! Run!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "My vagina has now experienced what hell is like. I'm certain this product is made from straight gasoline, and the applicator is the lighter. The first and last time I treat a yeast infection using OTC medications. I don't think a firehose can put out the fire I am experiencing. Thanks for nothing, Monistat 3 day."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m a diabetic for about 3 years, and I’ve literally had yeast infections 1, sometimes 2 times a month, and never have gone through hell like this. Mind you, I have a pretty high tolerance of pain. I’ve had pancreatitis, and this Monistat has caused burning and itching. I felt like I had red ants running all over and inside my vaginal region, which was intensely uncomfortable. I washed off immediately and put ice in a slightly damp towel and laid down. Still some intense itchy and burning, but not to the point I was shaking and crying. I will now for sure use the 7-day, no matter what event is happening. For those that can take it, I salute you. Just remember, ladies, there is always someone going through what you are. I wish I would have researched it."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I saw all these reviews talking about the burning and pain. I didn’t experience any of that. My yeast infection wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t the most subtle. What I did was take ibuprofen and Benadryl like an hour before. I felt some tingling, but nothing alarming. The Benadryl made me nice and sleepy, so I guess I may have slept through it. I’m on my second day, and my symptoms have decreased wonderfully. Didn’t itch once."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So, I've had several yeast infections in my life, and I have always used Monistat 3 ovules with no side effects or issues. My husband picked me up some Monistat while I was at work, and instead of ovules, he got the cream-filled applicators. OMG! The cream-filled applicators burn! Never again will I not buy the ovules. The second the cream hit, it felt like liquid fire being poured into my vagina. Please, don't buy the cream. Stick with the ovules."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was scared to take this because of the reviews, but I experienced ZERO burning or itching from the medication. I had itching from the yeast infection, but not excessive itching that was said in the reviews. Everybody reacts to medicines differently, so don't completely write off trying Monistat just because of the bad reviews below. I didn't experience any of that, and I felt relief on the second day, and now it is completely gone. I took it at night and tried not to get up a lot until the morning. The ointment also somewhat helped."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The first day I used the pre-filled applicator was quite painful. I burned and itched a lot down there. However, the second day didn't bother me at all. I'm guessing that the second application didn't hurt so much because most of the infection was eliminated. I'd use this product again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is horrible!! I had a mild yeast infection for a day or so, called my gyne doctor, and they recommended this. The itchy cream was fine, but the application with the medicine is horrible!! I put it in around 9:40 pm, and by 10, I was on the phone crying to my mom! The burning felt like a literal fire on my vagina! NEVER BUY THIS."
