For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This product was invented by someone awful to torture women. Besides the miserable itch caused by the evil hot pepper cream, I am completely covered head to toe in itchy red hives. I finished the 3-day treatment 2 days ago, and I can’t determine if the itching and burning I’m feeling is chemical burns, remaining yeast, or the allergic reaction I’m suffering. I want to scream all the time because my whole body itches from the hives. I’m popping Benadryl as often as I safely can. This is the worst ever!!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Ok, so first. Thank you for the hilarious reviews, but also I am feeling your pain. Even before reading the box, I knew it was going to burn because even things like 'hypoallergenic' and 'for sensitive skin' will irritate my lady parts. So I knew it would be a bad ride, but anything would be better than the already rashy burning feeling and other symptoms that come along with a Y/I, right? RIGHT?! So many wrongs. It feels like something with long, pointy crawls is trying to tear its way out of there. Oh, and the topical cream?! Instant horrible reaction. Made the itching and burning feeling go from bearable to oh my god, I just burned off my inner and outer labia. Woke up, and it still burns. I must endure 2 more nights of this torture. Pantyliners really do help."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "If you're reading this, it's probably too late, just like the rest of us: I thought I would try to use Monistat 3 for my mild YI. Worst mistake I've ever made in my life. I inserted the cream, I didn't even have time to stand up fully and pull my drawers up before the burning took over. I thought I was allergic, I thought about calling an ambulance, and 20 minutes later, I even thought about calling the funeral home because my vagina was dying, and so was I. I was in tears, I was gasping for air, and I was praying to the Lord to take the pain away. I felt as if someone crushed some peppers, added some acid, threw in some glass and Legos, and shoved it straight up in my cooch. Inside and out, I was on fire, I felt like I was birthing a dragon. Nothing helped, and it only got worse. DON'T use Monistat. I’d take the YI over that fire crotch any day!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I would never use this product. It took me until the second day before I realized the severe itching I felt was from the product and not the yeast infection. I just spent 2 hours in the shower dying from the itching, trying to wash it out. Now that I have tried practically everything to get rid of the itch, I decided to try the anti-itch cream it came with (I didn't want to trust it) and found that it actually works. But just to make sure you're not allergic, put a bit on so you can wipe it off if it starts to make things worse."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "***DO NOT USE THE MONISTAT 3 DAY CREAM*** I bought Monistat 3 Day prefilled applicators. Last night, I used the first cream-filled applicator, almost immediately, I began to feel sharp burning twinges. This increased with every passing moment to a burning, itching inferno. It hurt so much that I begged God to take the feeling away. I vowed to never, ever, ever, ever insert this Monistat cream or any other brand like it into my vagina again. I did not have a Diflucan pill on hand, so I bought the 3 Day cream. Add in the fact that I have used the 3 Day suppositories recently without itching and burning. Well, the cream is a different story. FYI, I am a nurse, and the use of this cream felt like a bad allergic reaction, so I took Benadryl and two Motrin. Relief came only when the Benadryl induced a deep sleep. P.S. I have used the one-day oval suppository, it is 10x worse than the 3 Day cream. It hurt so much that I took repeated hot water douches to remove the cream."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is day two of the ovule, and my vagina is dying. Day one was fine, but day two is a different story. Which worries me because why am I getting a 'reaction' on day two?! Anyway, I'm so upset. I put it in at midnight, it's 4 a.m., and I can't sleep. It feels like there is a volcano in my vagina, and I don't know what to do D':"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This thing is burning me up! I thought I was having an allergic reaction. Third day and I am on fire! Worse than the yeast itself. Hope I don't have any issues after. Took a shower minutes after. Try something else. This is simply torture. Felt better knowing I was not alone, though."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Thank goodness I found this site! I used the first insert about half an hour ago, and I was on my knees crying like a baby over the burn! I told my husband it was better to give birth. I am dreading day 2 and 3! I really hope this works!!! I am glad I'm not crazy, I thought I was having an allergic reaction!"
