Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "The first day it was effective, but I started to feel tired and sad. I also suffered from lack of sleep and felt thirsty all the time, even though I drank lots of water. I was not able to do number 2 :-) for 3 days, and I had stomach aches. I stopped taking this drug immediately."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I purchased Claritin NON-DROWSY (yeah right) this morning. I took one at 10 am, and within an hour, my symptoms all stopped. I felt exhausted and spaced out, and by 4 pm, I started to feel like I was on speed and wired. I felt like I was in slow motion, saying, 'What the heck is going on with this?' It’s nearly midnight as I’m typing this, and I feel tired but wired. I can’t wait till morning, being it’s a 24-hour dose for this to leave my body, but it did stop my coughing, all day wheezing, sniffling, and sneezing, but these side effects are not worth it. Anyone have any recommendations for another allergy med, as I can’t take a decongestant due to the ingredient causing worse fatigue."

Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "I took Claritin for congestion due to allergies. Day 1, I felt a bit tired after taking it, but the congestion began to clear. Day 2, I felt fine for a few hours with the exception of dry mouth, all of a sudden, I became severely dizzy and felt like I was going to fall out of my chair. Checked all my vitals: BP, oxygen, sugar, etc., and they are perfect. The only new medicine I took was Claritin. I am lying on my back right now, writing this review while I am recovering from the effects."

Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "This stuff did very little for my allergies. It made me feel tired and spaced out and gave me minor heart palpitations. Benadryl works much better but has some dangers if taken long term. Nasacort has few side effects for me but only limited help. Some homeopathic nasal sprays work better than most OTC stuff."

For Allergies "I've been taking a generic Kroger brand of this product for about a year, and it works well for my sinuses. It also helps with my snoring since I take this med before bedtime mostly. My reactions are tiredness, especially early evenings, and sore, achy muscles when waking up in the morning. Also, this drug seems to make my eyes dry. Not too sure about this though. Still testing it out to be sure."

For Allergic Reactions "Taken for itchy legs, but didn't relieve itching at all, made me drowsy and lethargic, and gave me a headache! The rest of the pack is going in the bin."
