Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "Read some of the reviews, says it causes confusion, anxiety, depression. I took it for 2 days. 1st day I didn’t feel anything except my ears started ringing really bad. 2nd day I took it, it caused the worst confusion of my life. Going on the day after and I still feel like rubbish. Don’t take this drug."

For Allergies "Do not take this if you suffer anxiety. I remembered taking this 2 years ago, and I had a panic attack, so I didn’t take anymore. Forgot which one it was, and I picked up a pack this week. I was 7 months anxiety/panic attack free until I took this the second time. 2 hours after swallowing, I was dizzy, confused, irritable, severely anxious, shaking, sweating, racing thoughts that wouldn’t stop. It completely stopped my nose and eyes from running and itching, but I would take that any day over how I felt on this. Never again for me."

For Urticaria "Took 1 loratadine in the evening as I was recommended by my doctor for hives. Struggled to sleep and later started shaking, rapid heartbeat, confusion. I have never had side effects like this due to any allergy pills previously. This is the worst and scariest thing I have experienced. This drug is not worth taking."

For Allergies "This made me dizzy, confused, panicky, worst feeling ever! I kind of feel like I am on a bad trip! Also gave me bad heartburn, made me feel like my throat is closing in, cannot swallow saliva, ears are popping. I am never taking this again."

For Allergies "Was told to take this loratadine instead of Benadryl, which causes only mild drowsiness. Three hours after taking loratadine, began to feel confused, forgetful, and “out of body” dissociative-type symptoms. Will not use it again."

For Allergic Rhinitis "OMG, I don’t think that I ever felt this terrible in my life as I felt during the last 5 days that I took this medication. It caused weird depression and confusion and generally some weird feelings that I don't even know how to explain-like I wasn't entirely in my own body... just so weird. It messed up my sleep-I literally didn't sleep properly the last 5 days, I feel like a zombie. And above all of that, it didn't help much with my rhinitis. I stopped using it today, and I truly hope these terrible side effects will go away soon. Be very careful with this medication, guys!"

Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "It was effective for my allergies, however, it caused many side effects that are listed nowhere! Depression, anxiety, confusion, and sleepiness that was so pronounced I had to pull over while driving. This was the Non-drowsy formula. There are 11 other people who had similar reactions in the support in drugs.com group, under the drug name. I'll deal with my allergies rather than end up in the psych ward."
