For Plaque Psoriasis "I was on Taltz for 8 months for P and PA. At first, it cleared my skin fairly quickly, but when I hit the once-a-month dose, my psoriasis came roaring back. My plaques are much larger now than they've ever been and in places I never had P before. I am not a big fan of biologics anyway, too expensive and dangerous, and have read some patients have benefited more from probiotic therapy and a better diet. Overall, I am very disappointed in Taltz and would not recommend it."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I just started my injections today. I was reading the reviews, and combined with a horrible experience in the past with the epi-style self-injections, it made me not even want to try the injection. I was terrified, but after a few deep breaths, I quickly hit the button, and I felt nothing. If there wasn't a stick mark and a bit of raised skin, I would have thought the injection didn’t work. One injection site is without any noticeable mark an hour after injection, but the second injection site has a large welt. I’ll update my review after a few months."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I had a severe guttate psoriasis outbreak from strep throat 2 months ago. I already had a few plaques prior, but the outbreak was unreal. I was literally covered from head to toe, everywhere was covered in these red spots, and the itching was the worst. For weeks they just kept coming, my feet, hands, in my palms, scalp. Everywhere! I have just taken my fourth injection and have already seen a drastic change, my face, neck, and chest are mostly clear, and the rest of me has improved greatly with each shot. I've had psoriasis for 20 plus years, and this is the only thing that has really worked. I'm hoping with a few more injections they will clear up too. The shots hurt when the meds go in, and I've had a few headaches, but nothing a Goody powder didn't help with. I'm excited to see what clear skin looks like. Thanks, Taltz!"

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "I’m on Taltz about a month now. My insurance chose it for me (which shouldn’t be legal). The pain of the injection pen is silly high. Then you get lumps at the injection site. The joint pain has been much worse than the last medication. Really bad blurred vision. Neck, shoulder, and arm pain. I don’t recommend it, but I’m so glad it worked for a few on here. I haven’t had my liver checked, but I’m going to be careful with it. It’s hard to believe anyone would feel better on this."

For Psoriasis "I had psoriasis all my life and have been given topical meds up until my sophomore year in college (which never worked). I got a new doctor, and he was finally willing to give me something more intense after so many others said I didn’t need it (Taltz). Although the injections are tough because I’ve never liked injections, this medicine has been a miracle. My psoriasis has completely gone away, and I am finally happy with my skin. 110% recommend this for anybody that struggles with psoriasis. My insurance didn’t cover it, but my doctor was able to get me the medicine with very reasonable monthly payments."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I have been dealing with psoriasis since I was 17. I have tried everything under the sun (including the sun, lol). Nothing seemed to work. The creams and ointments eased the intense itchiness but never cleared my skin. Finally, my doctor gave me injections. I have tried two other types before Taltz. One seemed to work, but my liver enzymes went through the roof. Another cleared all the scales and flakes, but my skin was always red. Then my doctor said Taltz. I said okay. Taltz is the best. I didn't have any side effects outside of the welt at the injection site, which only lasted a few days. My skin was completely clear in a few days to weeks. I loved my skin again. It had been so long since I could say that. With the discount card, my co-pay was $5.00."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "Diagnosed with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis disease 16 years ago. Put on methotrexate; Simponi 1x a month with 20 mg leflunomide every day for 10 years but developed a chronic cough, and leflunomide caused diarrhea. Cimzia (3 months - no change). Started Taltz 1x a month 18 months ago. Rheumatologist added 500 mg of sulfasalazine a day; doctor prescribed 50 mg Arthrotec 2x a day for pain. Taltz works well on the psoriasis but is not working on the arthritis. Past 5 months have been experiencing horrible tendon/muscle pain in upper arms, wrists, outside of calves. Joints feel stiff, and I am noticing more plaque on the soles of my feet. Biologics are supposed to be the most aggressive treatment, but most seem to be supported with secondary medications. Agree with others, the injection is painful, burns, and leaves a welt for 3-7 days; icing before injection helps - EpiPen style is better! Some biologics are used as TNF blockers while others are inhibitors."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I'm over the moon with joy about the results of Taltz! So thankful every day for having this in my life! For the first time in years, I'm not having to wipe my shoulders off from flakes every two minutes. I'm not leaving a trail of skin everywhere I go! I've got my self-confidence back again! Thank you, thank you, thank you! And my patches are becoming less noticeable every day, and it's only week three!"

For Plaque Psoriasis "Taltz has my plaque psoriasis almost cleared up, I had 80% psoriasis all over my body. Been using Otezla with minimal results. It's great feeling skin on my elbows and knees instead of armored skin cells. Only one complaint: the injections are too painful. I am seriously thinking of quitting Taltz, I hate that pain. I hate needles anyway, but these injectors are horrible."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "Been on Taltz for about five months now, and it worked almost immediately on my psoriasis. The arthritis, I believe, is slightly better, but the psoriasis it knocked out literally with the first dose. Very happy with it."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I have been taking Taltz for 18 months. Saw immediate results with joint pain and the psoriasis. But after a year, having some side effects. Swollen eyelids and itchy feet. Severe abdominal pain. Mentioned these issues to my dermatologist, and he's not seeing a connection. Not sure what to do."

For Psoriasis "I’m sixty-four and have been living with moderate to severe psoriasis since my late teens. I’ve tried it all: UVB, creams, ointments, etc., nothing got rid of my psoriasis. Major breakouts left me in pain, bleeding, peeling, and depression. When Enbrel came out, I thought it was a Godsend, it knocked it way down to maybe one percent of my body but never got rid of it until Taltz came along. I’m 100% clear now. I’m very happy with the results. Been using it three months now."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Was on Stelara for 4 years and had 100 percent clear skin. New doctor dropped the ball on my injection for 2 cycles, and I started to break through. Again, a new doctor who insisted on Taltz. I am on week 12 and am about 98 percent clear. I have noticed differences and side effects on Taltz that I didn't on Stelara. I never scaled while on Stelara. On Taltz, I have scaling and intense itching. Didn't have it on Stelara. I also get a bad stomach ache, headache, and diarrhea for the first 24 hours after injecting Taltz. I'm worried about infections."

For Plaque Psoriasis "No improvement at all. I have been using this drug for 10 weeks, and my condition is only getting worse. I did develop inflammatory bowel syndrome while taking Taltz. I thought I should stay on this drug for the initial 12-week therapy, but with no improvement, I will discontinue use."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "Got diagnosed when I was 19. I have tried Humira, Enbrel, Stelara, and Taltz. Stelara was the least painful for me and worked best for my psoriasis but did not help my arthritis. Taltz is the only medication that has helped my arthritis. I do not like this shot, though. It hurts the worst going into the skin compared to the others I have tried. I also have a reaction every month, a giant red welt on the injection site that is hot and swollen for a week after the shot. I usually administer the shot in my thigh, so it also causes me to limp for a day or two. Wish I had another option to try that did not put me at risk for fertility issues, but apparently this is my last option for now."

For Psoriasis "I could not believe in a matter of a couple of doses my skin was clearing up. I had tried diets, other drugs, tanning beds, red light therapy, skin products, steroids. I went all natural with everything on my body, and nothing worked. Then Taltz, and I look normal again at 43. I developed psoriasis when I turned 40, it took me three years to find my answer."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I started taking Taltz a month and a half ago. Within 3 days, I see immediate clearing of skin. Within two weeks, I was 100% clear. This drug has been a miracle and is the first that was so efficacious (I took Enbrel for a decade and Stelara most recently for a year). It feels too good to be true, so the true test is how long this will last. So far, so good!"

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Was recently on Taltz for 6 months. It has always been a hassle to order the next dose every month, so sadly in November of 2021 I could not return calls and skipped that dose. But then in December they started calling again, and always when I had zero time to go through the 15-20 minute rubbish in order to get my prescribed med. So now January, and I am starting to feel my AS symptoms coming on, but a million times worse than I have ever experienced. I have been on just about every other biologic. Never an issue once I stopped those. Is it possible that Taltz has a severe withdrawal problem? Has anyone else experienced this after stopping Taltz? My pain is so bad, and my nerves are irritated through the roof. I am short with people and can’t get good sleep."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I've had severe psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis for over 35 years. I have been on everything to treat psoriasis and/or the rheumatoid. NOTHING really helped. Nothing ever cleared my skin. Started Taltz in January 2017, within a month, I had completely clear skin and had less pain and stiffness with the rheumatoid. In July 2017, I had a flare with the rheumatoid. The doctor took me off Taltz and put me on Actemra. It's been a disaster! Psoriasis is back! It's so bad that it's unbearable, and there's no improvement with the rheumatoid, it's getting worse! I saw my doctor last week and literally begged to go back on Taltz. The doctor agreed, I'm counting the days until I start Taltz again. I'll NEVER go off it again. I cannot wait to have clear skin again. Taltz is AWESOME!"

For Plaque Psoriasis "Ok, so I have had plaque psoriasis since I was 14 years old, and I have tried every cream, every lotion, even certain foams, and I have even been prescribed Humira, and none of it has worked the way Taltz had. I took my first two shots Wednesday, and it is now Saturday, and I have noticed a big difference in just a few days... no more itching... The inflammation has gone down immensely. And I can finally be comfortable putting my jeans on now... I know that everyone is different when it comes to treatment... I'm just glad I have found one that finally works for me :)"

For Plaque Psoriasis "I have started my 160 mg loading dose yesterday, it is a painful shot. I have tried Humira, which was 70% good. Then Cosentyx, which gave me 100% clearance for a year, which was my happiest since I was 20. Now I am 43, then it started to relapse. I am on Taltz now, hoping it will work. I have such a severe itch all over that my skin is bleeding. Do not know if it is a Taltz side effect or the flare of my P. I really hope Taltz will kick in quickly, I hate the look and the itch."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I took Stelara for plaque psoriasis for about four years, and it worked very well-until I had to miss a dose because I was having knee surgery. After 3 1/2 months, I resumed taking Stelara, but my body no longer responded to it, and I started getting a lot of activity on my legs. My doctor suggested switching to TALTZ, but I was put off by the initial starter doses and the monthly maintenance dose. (After all, Stelara is only one shot every 3 months.) Nevertheless, I decided to read online comments about TALTZ and was encouraged, but skeptical about some people saying they saw improvement in days. Well, now I'm one of those people. I saw improvement in just 4 days, I'm on week 6 of treatment."

For Plaque Psoriasis "Clear after 2 months. Feel fatigued most of the time. Hope it passes with time. Have been on many biologics. Noticed my teeth hurt and several seem loose or have mobility issues. Same thing happened when I was on Humira. Neither the doctor nor dentist have answers, but the mobility is a concern. Any others have this issue?"

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "I was very hesitant to begin with Taltz. I thought I would not be able to inject myself and was concerned about the side effects. However, the injection is so easy and painless. I have been on Taltz for about 15 months and I have experienced no side effects. With my condition, I experience high inflammation, a lot of stiffness and have a hard time climbing steps. I could not walk with any speed. Since starting Taltz, I have no aches and pains. I can climb up steps without holding onto the rail, my stiffness is minimal, my inflammation levels are low, I can even touch my toes, and I am able to walk at a quicker pace. This medication has saved me! I have insurance through my job which covered the medication 100%. I am retiring and will be unable to continue with Taltz as it is not covered by Medicare or prescription drug coverage, and the cost is beyond anything I could afford."

For Plaque Psoriasis "I'm 47 years old, I have psoriasis since I was 26 years old. I have tried different medicines, including pills and injections, but my psoriasis is always on and off. I've been on Taltz for more than one and a half years. I'm more than 100% clear. Due to some insurance issues, thanks to their support program, that helped me to continue treatment. I'm so thankful to God and Taltz for making my life so easy and enjoyable. Thanks, Taltz."
