For Atopic Dermatitis "Have been on oral steroids for 44 years daily for severe atopic eczema, asthma, and sinus atopic allergies. This medicine has finally given me a chance to start cutting back on the steroids. I am very optimistic about my condition and hope to be steroid-free in a few months. The only side effect I had was red eyes the first 2 months. That went away, and I have had no other side effects. I hope this will be more affordable in the future for those that don't have good health coverage."

For Eczema "This drug has been amazing. I developed eczema at about age 35. Oddly, I never had skin problems, but I took Zyrtec for allergies. Immediately after going off Zyrtec, my body was on fire for weeks. Eventually, it localized to my arms and back. It was awful. For years, I dealt with this. Constant itching, threw away so many blood-spotted shirts, couldn't wear short sleeves, everyone always thought I had poison ivy, couldn't sleep without heavy antihistamine, which made me nonfunctional the next day. I was skeptical when my doctor mentioned this drug. I've used every lotion and potion on the market, the success stats weren't that impressive, and giving myself a shot every 2 weeks sounded awful. But, 10 days in, my eczema was gone. Not reduced. GONE. It's been about 7 weeks now and my skin is clear and hasn't itched at all. I'm lucky my insurance covered it, and I still worry about as yet undiscovered long-term side effects, but this medicine has been a lifesaver for me."

For Eczema "I’ve had eczema all my life, and it recently started getting so bad over the summer. I itch severely when my body temp increases. I went on antibiotics all the time just to get rid of the flare-ups until my dermatologist told me about Dupixent. I have seen such a dramatic change. It is so amazing to not be itchy every single minute of the day and to have such clear skin on my body. It only started working after two shots, but wow, it is amazing. I thank Dupixent every day for feeling confident in my skin again."

For Eczema "I had 3 Dupixent injections, within 4 days, my skin was so much better. I was amazed. However, it was short-lived as I got double pink eye and horrible chapped lips and sores around my lips. It's horrible! I haven't taken the medication since March 2018, and I still have residual side effects! And my eczema is now worse than it's ever been. I hope the side effects go away and stay gone."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I have been on Dupixent for 4 weeks. My skin began to clear up after two weeks and now is nearly completely cleared up. Itching is another problem. It is now starting to stop. So, so far I'm pleased. My only worry is how long I have to be on Dupixent. It has been hard to get an answer-my doctor said one year, but in another place, I read that I'll always be on it."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Eczema, atopic dermatitis, and allergies run in my family, and I’ve suffered since I was a baby. Like most, I tried steroids, light therapy, EVERYTHING - nothing cleared it up. I moved to TX a few years ago, and the heat made me break out even more. Head to toe, I was too embarrassed to wear shorts or tank tops, swimming irritates it, etc. I just turned 33 and was crying every night out of frustration because I was in pain, and itched so badly I’d go days with no sleep. Thankfully, I was approved for Dupixent MyWay, so I do not have to pay the crazy costs. The shots are twice a month and have made a huge difference in the quality of life. I have mild breakouts here and there, but nothing like the relentless, unsightly itchy skin I had before. For me, making sure my showers aren’t too hot, sleeping with cool covers, and moisturizing with canola oil. It’s unscented, and I rub it into my skin after the shower and at night. Paired with Dupixent, I’m 95% clear!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "I never thought my skin would be clear enough to wear shorts. I have never in my life worn shorts... until now. I am so glad that I agreed to use Dupixent. My asthma and eczema have not had any flare-ups since a couple of days after the first two injections. I am only not excited about the injections, but the needle is so small, it's livable."

For Prurigo Nodularis "I was diagnosed with prurigo nodularis recently, and after my doctor tried all options and nothing worked, he had me try Dupixent. I was hopeful and have been on the shots for 3 months. I have seen some improvement with it clearing, or it tends to clear quicker than before, but after each injection, I started noticing different things such as my nose would bleed, which has never happened, which led to serious inflammation and scabs inside my nose, continuously stuffy as if I have a cold. I was tired shortly after my injection, and the following day, I've had constant headaches, itchy, scratchy eyes. I developed a rash on the behind that was extremely painful and odd, and I've had a lot of muscle aches and generally don't feel good at all. Dupixent is not for me, and I have stopped treatment."

For Eczema "Dupixent has been life-changing for me. I was diagnosed at age 6, and I am currently 32 years of age. I have severe eczema and typically dress completely covered to prevent the stares, questions, and comments. I have not been able to wear my wedding ring for 7 years because of the dyshidrotic eczema on my hands. I have never been bowling with my children, the oldest being 12. I have a hard time allowing anyone to touch me because my skin is so hypersensitive, it drives me insane. I have never slept all the way through the night. My self-esteem is highly affected, and exercise is nearly impossible with the sweat pouring and irritating the wounds. Sometimes, just getting out of bed, walking, or taking a shower is enough to send me to tears. Dupixent has given me a new life. It has given me my life back. I now know what all eczema took from me, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be on this medication."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I’ve only been taking Dupixent for about a month and already have seen quite an improvement to my severe eczema. I’m also a brittle asthmatic and have noticed I’m using my asthma inhaler 1/3 less than I was before, so that was a great surprise and bonus! My skin is not completely clear or nearly smooth yet, but I know not to even expect to see full results for 3-4 months, so given that, I give this medication an 8. I would never give it a 10 given the ridiculous cost, but the ease of pharmacy delivery and administration of the drug in pre-filled syringes with retractable needles is a great convenience, so that bumps the ratings up a bit. I am very happy with my results from Dupixent so far!"

For Eczema "Dupixent has completely changed my quality of life. Like many, I've had severe eczema since infancy that only worsened as I got older. I'd tried everything from topical steroids to acupuncture, eventually resorting to nausea-inducing antibiotics (cefadroxil) once my flare-ups became so severe that I would break out in constant skin infections and had to take weeks off work at a time. It's been a year since I've begun using Dupixent, and my skin is 95% clear. While I still have very minor redness behind my knees and neck, my skin overall has elasticity and softness, and I no longer have flare-ups of any kind. I can wear the clothes I want, sleep through the night without itching-but most importantly, be confident in myself again. People who didn't know me before Dupixent actually stop and tell me how beautiful my skin looks. I highly recommend others who have severe eczema or AD to ask their doctors about Dupixent."

For Eczema "I’ve been suffering from eczema my entire life. In the past few years, I’ve had major breakouts, really major. You know, the ones when you can’t sleep, stop scratching, and you’re covered in sores. Nothing works, not even rounds and rounds of prednisone, where the only thing you get are horrible side effects. Ugh! No fun. I’ve taken Dupixent 5 times so far, one being the initial dose of 2 units and the other 3 self-administered, and it’s been a miracle for me. I also suffer from hideous asthma (of course), and my side effect from Dupixent has been NO asthma episodes! Already! I feel like I’d imagine a normal person feels. I CAN BREATHE AND DO THINGS! And I’m not dying of asthma attacks all the time. I’d LOVE to kiss the manufacturer AND work for the company as a spokesperson. There aren’t enough stars to rate Dupixent as high as I want to. It really is magical unicorn fairy dust!!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "I'm 18 years old, and I have had eczema since I was a baby. I've been on many medications, and when I heard about Dupixent, I had really high hopes for it. I have been on this medicine for 4 months now, and my dermatitis has gotten worse. My face and neck are constantly burning, and my eyes are swollen and red. I haven't had a good experience with this medication, but it was worth a try."

For Eczema "I wanted to share my experience with Dupixent and hope this will help others. I have had severe eczema since I was a baby. I used many cortisone creams and ointments. I began to see that cortisone was less effective and I worried about long-term absorption. Dupixent was recommended. I am on month four of using and all I can say is wow. The first month or so, it was hard to see an immediate difference with my skin, but I noticed a significant difference in regard to itch. I was less itchy and hardly any scratching. I saw my skin begin to heal. By month three, I saw a significant improvement with my skin. Another positive is that Dupixent makes my allergic responses milder (sneezing, itchy watery eyes, etc.). I know that every individual may have a different experience and reaction with this medication, and it might not work for everyone. I would strongly suggest trying this for a couple of months if nothing else is working. To me, it has been life-changing, and I don't say that lightly."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Definitely wasn’t what I was hoping for. Have seen skin about 25-30% clearer. Extremely dry face, about the same as before. I still get rashes on my back off and on. Neck is still inflamed regularly. Been on for about 8 months now. Have a flare-up right before the shot, and it never seems to take effect for at least 2 days after. I will clear up slightly for a few days, then I will go back to a whole body rash. Itching hasn’t been relieved much at all. It’s an okay alternative to other drugs and worth the attempt, but it doesn’t work great for me. Wish everyone luck."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "I had surgery to remove nasal polyps two years and three months ago. I was told to go on allergy injections and nasal steroids to reduce the chance that the polyps would come back. Well, they have. They said my sinuses are worse now than they were two years ago and recommended I start Dupixent immediately. I had my first injection (auto-inject pin) one week ago. It felt like someone asked me to allow someone to put out their lit cigar on my leg and hold it there for 30 seconds. It was unbelievably painful. I've also started to notice subtle changes in my vision; not sure if it's possible that I could have problems with my sight after just one dose. Right now, I'm trying to decide whether or not I can possibly psyche myself up for another dose. Yes, I want to taste and smell, but surely there is a more humane way to address this problem?"

For Eosinophilic Esophagitis "My 25-year-old son has had EOE since around 2 years old. Watching him struggle to live through the years has been traumatic for all of us. He has starved, down to an extremely low weight more than once. Hospitalized many times and given a feeding tube. We eat to live, and he couldn't. His throat would close to the size of the opening of a straw. My son is also on the spectrum, which made this disease even more of a challenge. He has been on Dupixent for a year, and let me tell you... he is living because of this miracle medication. If I could hug the makers of this drug, I would. They saved my son's life. On his last scope, there were no eosinophils. Thank you!!!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "I've now been on Dupixent for 6 months. Starting last March, I was not only getting my usual eczema, but I was also getting welts and contact dermatitis for unknown reasons. I was literally up all night itching, and showers were excruciating. I decided to go on Dupixent because topical treatments were no longer working for me. Within the first month on Dupixent, my body was basically clear, and my itch had drastically decreased. However, within about 3 months, I did begin to notice some uniquely looking rashes on my face and around my eyes. Fast forward to 6 months later, and my eyes are indeed watery and itchy like others have mentioned, but it's not totally unbearable yet. I got in contact with my dermatologist, and he said that there is a theory that Dupixent basically uncovers an allergy to ingredients that are commonly present in cosmetics and lotions. I'm not quite ready to give up on Dupixent yet, as it's greatly improved my quality of life in other ways."

For Eczema "After only 6 shots, I had no flare-ups and felt great! But, 2 weeks after my 6th shot, my eyes started pouring water, itching like crazy, very irritated and red. As I've never in my life had that occur, I can only attribute it to Dupixent, especially after reading up on it some more and reading people's reviews with the same side effect. It has been 2 months since I've had a shot, and my eyes are not any better, despite prescription drops, allergy tablets, etc."

For Eczema "I had an onset of eczema a year ago that started small but kept spreading badly. Nothing helped much except prednisone and cyclosporine. Even the cyclosporine started not to work 100%. My doctor suggested Dupixent. I have been on it for three months. My rash with bumps went away, however, it was replaced with flat, patchy red skin spots that burn and can itch. For the most part, in the same areas my previous rashes were: face, neck, chest, stomach, and arms. The severity seems to go up and down as far as how bad they are. For some reason, it’s worse than ever, and those patches are noticeable. Not sure if my body is still getting used to it, or it’s not going to work fully. I still prefer this over the other eczema rashes and itching, but it just seems to be worse. Still going to continue it and pray it completely clears up. Not sure if anyone else has this? My eyes are definitely itchy and can burn, but I already had been on prescription eyedrops for allergies that seem to help."

For Eczema "I am very sensitive to medications in general. From day one, I noticed a decrease in energy level, plus I would start sweating doing anything (going up a flight of stairs). But it did take away my eczema! It was a hard decision for me to go off of it after about 7 months because we all know what it is like living with eczema. But I hate side effects! Now, still searching for that wonder medication without the side effects."

For Eczema "I received my loading dose in March of 2019. One week to the day, my right eye developed a corneal edema. I can't say I'm really surprised because I've had eye problems since thinning corneas ten years ago. I've been on two medications: prednisolone AC and Muro128. Four days on the medication for the corneal edema, and my eye is clearing up but still cloudy. My skin did clear up within a week, but not having my eyesight isn't worth the trouble. Other than the eye problem, I've had no other negative reactions. I don't plan on getting another Dupixent shot."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I was on Dupixent for one year, and at the beginning, I had itchy, red, very dry eyes. Then I later developed extreme joint pain in my knees and ankles, but I cleared up my skin. It looked great for a year until I realized my aches and pains were due to the Dupixent. Also, weight gain. I got off of it, and now my rashes are starting to come back, but it's just not worth the side effects that Dupixent gave me. I'm not willing to go back on Dupixent."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I have had eczema since I was a young child. I am now 49. My skin cleared up within the first 3 months of using Dupixent, however, after that, my eyes started bothering me, and I had a heart attack. I have now had cataract surgery on both eyes, not to mention all the specialists I have seen to try and figure out what caused so many things to happen all at once. My skin did clear up, but I have had conjunctivitis, heart attack, my white blood count was always high, insomnia, blood vessels bursting, and now I have something going on with my tongue! I also would like to say I have never had a side effect from any other drug in my life."

For Eczema "I had a great experience with Dupixent. A 10 out of 10 for me. It completely cleared up my eczema within 2 doses. I was really struggling with head, arm, chest, leg, forehead, and neck eczema, and it was so disruptive. I didn't have any side effects at all. The shots are easy to administer and convenient to do on my own. I'm a huge fan. The only challenge was getting it approved through my insurance company, but my doctor worked hard to provide all the information necessary. Without insurance, I would be out of luck as it's expensive. Again, as far as the effectiveness... I'm a huge fan and eczema-free."
