For COPD, Maintenance "In the past 10 years, I have been on three different inhalers for my COPD. They were all very expensive, as is Breztri. I am on Medicare so I do not get much of a cost break. I have been on it for over 9 months now and it is truly amazing at controlling my illness compared to any of the others. I do have an issue with the new style. It sticks, is harder to push down, and does not seem to distribute the medicine as well as the other style. This is the third month using it. Does anyone else have this issue?"

For COPD, Maintenance "Before I started on Breztri I couldn't grocery shop, walk to the car from a store, walk outside in my own backyard and I had to stop going to my favorite beach because I couldn't take more than 2 steps in the sand. Now, I'm shopping on my own, walking in my yard and swimming in my pool without having to stop and wait 30 minutes before I can walk far enough to lie down. I haven't had to use a rescue inhaler in months. I am so satisfied with Breztri and will take it as long as it's working this well. Ben using it for just under 2 years. No side effects."

For COPD, Maintenance "I'm having mixed reviews of Breztri so far. Previous reviews are very positive, but I have not seen a dramatic improvement so far (3 months). My biggest complaint of a drug that retails for over $600 is the counter mechanism....For this price, this should register each dose as taken instead of every 10 doses. I realize this is probably the most expensive part of this inhaler, but it's important to be able to see exactly how many doses are left. Also, it seems less effective when you get to 20.doses."
Are you taking this medicine?

For COPD, Maintenance "I am very happy with Breztri. It has helped me tremendously! Better than any other inhaler I have used. However, I can no longer afford this medication. Thanks to my Medicare and Supplemental Insurance, along with Well Care drug insurance, I will not live much longer as they will not pay for this , or any other inhalers I need. Thanks to pharmaceutical Prices , I will say goodbye now !"

For COPD, Maintenance "I am a 71-year-old female. Taking the prescribed 2 puffs morning and night caused too many negative side effects. I myself after 2 days cut it down to one puff daily in the morning. It worked great. I could finally breathe, I could take a full breath. I could go to the gym, do gardening, and walk my dog for over one mile. I finally got it down to taking one puff every 3 days. I have stage 3 COPD. You have no idea how elated I am. I also stopped smoking the minute I found out I had COPD. It has been miraculous for me."

For COPD "I like Breztri for COPD breathing, but it's difficult to talk when I use it. I went back on Anoro Ellipta for a while, but due to the cost since my advantage plan doesn't cover it, I went back on Breztri, taking one dose in the morning and one dose in the late afternoon. Again, my voice is raspy and barely heard. Yes, I breathe better, but I can't talk. I may go back to Anoro Ellipta again. Wondering if anyone else has this problem."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and find Breztri seems to work as well as other medications I have tried in the past, however, the dose counter is ineffective. I have read many reviews that the medication loses its effectiveness over time. This may be because it shoots out more than the rated 120 doses, possibly up to 140 or more. I do not believe that you receive the full dose after 120 doses. To ensure that I receive the correct dose, I write down the date when I start a new package and the date 30 days later when I would have used it 120 times. At that point, I discard the medication and open a new one. I would suggest anyone taking this medication do the same, as it is frustrating to pay for medication that does not work correctly."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have COPD and was given a sample from my doctor. It worked great. I was breathing much better than I have for a long time. Unfortunately, when my doctor sent in my prescription to the pharmacy and I went to pick it up, I was told that my Medicaid wouldn't pay for it. I am very disappointed. It helped me tremendously. Good drugs should not be only for the wealthy. I'm very sad that I don't have access to this drug that I need."

"I was wondering why I was feeling tired, and nauseated and felt like I had something in my throat that I needed to clear constantly. However, I continued to take it and I started developing a cough. I finally looked up the side effects and there they were. Now I know why I was having all those symptoms. I'm not taking it anymore."

For COPD "My doctor switched me from Symbicort to Breztri. Looking at the reviews, I must be an outlier because I couldn’t tell if I had taken it and/or felt worse whereas with my old inhaler there was a noticeable + difference."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have suffered from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and Emphysema for over 10 years. I became disabled 2 years ago and wasn't able to walk more than 14 steps without being out of breath. I found a different pulmonary doctor and he put me on Brestri. I have been taking it for 2 weeks now and it has changed my life. I can breathe and walk now."

For COPD "Used Breztri for 4 1/2 months and have zero flare ups. Before I had 3 in 2 months and was switched to Breztri only problem is that it is expensive fortunately I’m a veteran so I get a reduced price But I believe it’s a super drug if you can afford it"

For COPD "Appears to work well. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and within 3 days the fever is gone and I am feeling a lot better. My successful battle with pneumonia maybe from; 1-.With Breztri, for 2 months was on a 45-60 min. Daily aerobic & exercise program which strengthen my lungs. 2- Also, last year I received the senior dosage pneumonia vaccine. This is far better than my battle with pneumonia in 2010. It took me 6 weeks to get over it."

For COPD "my pulmonary doctor put me on Breztri Aerosphere and said to take two doses a day. The first day was fine and worked pretty well. On the second day, I took the first dose and ended up passing out. It is a good thing my son was home as he called 911. An ambulance came and got me and I woke up the next day in the hospital. Breztri Aerosphere is not for me. I'm glad to hear it works well for others. I don't know why it didn't work for me."

For COPD "I graduated to using Breztri from Symbicort, when the Symbicort began to decline in effectiveness. The Breztri has been very effective in controlling my symptoms and with no side effects that I have noticed."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have COPD (Emphysema and asthma). Ever since I started Breztri (April 2022) I have had sudden breathlessness. It just hits me for no reason. For the longest time, I thought maybe I was having anxiety, or this is what having COPD is like. I had told my doctor multiple times, but he didn't mention any changes I should do other than using my nebulizer more. UGH! I thought it was what everyone was calling a flare up so I would get antibiotics and prednisone to treat it. Finally, l convinced my doctor that it could very well be Breztri that was causing my breathlessness. He put me back on what I came there a year ago on (Symbocort and Spriiva) and although it's only been a couple of days, I have not had any episodes of breathlessness. Yes, I get out of breath but that's much different than feeling like your heart is racing and you can't catch your breath. I guess something in Breztri does not agree with me."

For COPD, Maintenance "When I actually get full doses of the medication, I'm happy with the way it works compared to using the budesonide/spiriva combo. Problem is with the inhaler design, which often delivers a very brief air puff rather than a metered dose, and clicks the meter forward anyway. Not sure how long I'm willing to put up with defective inhalers."

For COPD "Been using it for 8 months after switching from Symbicort/Spiriva...seems to work as well the latter is no better. The yellow breathers are terrible as half the time it doesn't give you a puff and the counter is way off which makes it show you are taking more than you really are and after 2 weeks of use it seems you are getting weak puffs... This medicine is really expensive."

For COPD, Maintenance "I used Breztri only twice and my kids had to call 911 and I ended up in the hospital. The first time was ok. But the second time after one inhalation it knocked me out. I'm happy this works for some but it didn't for me."

For COPD, Maintenance "At first, it worked wonderfully. I had zero complaints. But I have 2 issues. After about a week, I noticed I began to cough again. Second, about 3 or 4 days after I started using, I developed insomnia. I haven't had a decent night's sleep in weeks. It takes me hours to fall asleep, and then I wake up after a few hours. This happens usually a couple times a night. I have to use my rescue inhaler to have a chance at falling asleep as this stops the cough for an hour or two. But the insomnia is making me tired, cranky, and generally miserable. I really hope this passes, I don't know how much more I can handle."

For COPD "Breztri works great when the dispenser delivers the medication. I’ve had a lot of trouble with it. It seems when it get down to 20-30 doses it stops dispensing the meds. I’ve had quite a few flare ups as a result. I think it wasn’t delivering the medication when I used it!"

For COPD, Maintenance "I love it! I feel like I am not ill at all. It is expensive at $1500 per month and that card will not work for me. Sadly my insurance won't cover it and after my second sample, I will have to stop it. I'll be back to not being able to breathe again. Finally found something that really works and it’s way out of my reach."

For COPD, Maintenance "The yellow dispenser is a huge disappointment. Compared to the white dispenser, It has less medicine with each puff, lasts less time and often dispenses air only. I have had to cut back or cease many activities. Please restore use of white dispenser and include enough medicine so it does not give out during the last 10 to 20 puffs."
