For COPD, Maintenance "I use Breztri inhaler as a COPD maintenance inhaler. I pay out of pocket almost $500 for 3 inhalers. Ever since I started using Breztri inhalers, the inhaler does not work properly, and I cannot get my full dosage, hence, I am using my inhalers up before the allotted time. I have complained to AstraZeneca numerous times. I am going to talk to my doctor about going to a different inhaler."

For COPD, Maintenance "Swollen and painful knees and legs, spasms in most of the body, high blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, and sore throat after taking. I do not notice any chest pain and only a minor feeling of breathlessness."

For COPD "Seems to do the job. My only complaint is the last 2 prescriptions, the spray doesn’t spray the same. The first one maybe full mist, the second one is only a slight puff. At the cost this should not happen. I am going to ask the doctor for different medications!"

For COPD "I was experiencing severe coughing for many months and was hospitalized for pneumonia. After discharge, the coughing continued. I saw a pulmonologist who started me on Breztri, 2 puffs in the morning and evening, due to mild COPD. The coughing went away immediately and has stayed away. I developed a mass on my neck that kept growing and was diagnosed as large B-cell diffuse lymphoma, non-Hodgkin's. I cut down to 1 puff per day and observed a noticeable decrease in the size of the mass. My oncologist will begin treatment next month, probably, so I am not sure if it is related. But the mass first appeared a month after starting Breztri."

For COPD, Maintenance "This medicine is a huge relief from my condition when it dispenses the proper dosage! I'm so frustrated, with every new inhaler I'm hopeful for proper dosage, but the inhalers continue to clog up. I'm using more inhalers, hence more money."

For COPD "Breztri works great when the dispenser delivers the medication. I’ve had a lot of trouble with it. It seems when it gets down to 20-30 doses, it stops dispensing the meds. I’ve had quite a few flare-ups as a result. I think it wasn’t delivering the medication when I used it!"

For COPD, Maintenance "After the counter registers 40 puffs remaining, the drug is useless. Too many side effects, when combined with other drugs, like blood pressure medication, can make life miserable. Back pain, dry mouth, not sleeping are all taking its toll on me. As soon as I can find something with less side effects, I will quit using this."

For COPD "I recently switched over to Breztri 160 as the alternative medicine (Trelegy 200) made my chest feel heavy 4 hours after the daily dose. I used the alternative for 6 months. Breztri has improved my COPD symptoms significantly. I am actively doing yard work, going to the gym, and leading a normal, happy life."

For COPD, Maintenance "I've had COPD for many years but only started taking medication for about 4 years. Been on oxygen that long also. Without inhalers, I would stay in the 60s for O2 saturation with O2. Of the others I tried, Breztri is by far the best. I couldn't take 5 steps without a break to catch my breath before using Breztri. My O2 saturation would drop to the 70s while walking before on oxygen and other inhalers. After starting Breztri, I would stay in the high 80s when walking with oxygen. Huge improvement. I can go to the store, walk with my wife, go to the library. It's expensive, but to live I need to breathe."

For COPD "Has helped me more than any other inhaler, although the side effects need to be researched carefully. My doctor did not say anything about taking certain antibiotics or steroids with this medication. A lot of medications mix with this one and have bad reactions. I have actually fainted several times, and I never knew when it was going to happen. But as far as the breathing part, it improved a lot."

For COPD "In May, I got samples from my doctor for a month. It worked pretty good, had just a couple of headaches. In August, I qualified for a year of treatment. I used one inhaler but by the end, the headaches started again. I started the second inhaler and the headaches got worse. I stopped taking it in the morning and only took it in the evening, but overnight the headaches started again. I decided to stop taking it for at least a week, and then I'll start again. Not sure what to do about it. I do feel a lot better, I can walk and clean the house without getting tired or being breathless, but I hate the headache."

For COPD, Maintenance "I agree with Commenter 'D'... I was on Trelegy, but over time, I started to use my rescue inhaler more. I was happy with Trelegy's once-a-day dosing... it may be a 'head trip,' but I feel safer at this time taking Breztri. Bevespi plus the ICS Budesonide is the same as Breztri."

For COPD "I liked Breztri better than Trelegy. The Breztri applicator won't work lots of the time. Then you lose doses by trying to get it to squirt out. It gets frustrating because it's expensive, but thankfully I paid for United Healthcare to pay for my prescriptions. I just have a very small co-pay. With this and Medicare, it doesn't cost much because I would be upset with it due to applicator failure if I paid full price. But I'm going to try the Trelegy tonight because the Breztri is starting not to work as well. Don't know if it's due to applicator failure and I'm not getting a full dose or because I've used it too long. Need to speak with my doctor. We'll see, I guess."

For COPD "Breztri changed my life, for the better in big ways. I rarely ever use my rescue inhaler. Before Breztri, I used it 4-8 times a day. After Breztri, maybe 1 time a week to two weeks. Before Breztri, I couldn’t walk across the street without being breathless. Not the case anymore. I am so thankful for this awesome drug and would recommend it to anyone."

"I suffer from asthma and lupus. I have been using this medication for a couple of months now. At first, it was working really well, but then the last week or so, I have been having weird symptoms and a sore throat, anxiety-like feelings, and can’t sleep. I’m stopping because I also looked up drug interactions and three of my prescriptions are on the list. Don’t know why my doctor didn’t know this… so stupid! Could have caused me a heart attack! It works well for some but not for me! Luckily, I tried samples first and then was given a card for free for 12 months' worth because it was far too expensive for anyone to afford."

For COPD "Did not realize I could not breathe until my first use of Breztri. Slept for a while 4-5 hours then awake for good, very hot at night, crown-like headache, some urinary retention. Switched to just 2 puffs in the morning, getting better."

For COPD, Maintenance "Medication works very well for maybe 6 hours, so I take one puff 4x a day. I am concerned the yellow inhaler provides more medication when it's first opened, and the dosage drops towards the end of the inhaler..."

For COPD "I started taking Breztri Aerosphere after being hospitalized with pneumonia and being diagnosed with emphysema and COPD eight months ago. I stopped smoking and started Breztri. I was on oxygen for 6 months. My breathing is much improved. Breztri is easy to use, once in the morning and once at night. I have not noticed any side effects. It is VERY EXPENSIVE, costing over $150 AFTER insurance has paid over $600. Due to expense, I am going to see if I will be okay if I reduce the dosage or stop taking Breztri."

"I just used it for the first time tonight. I suspect my doctor is trying to see if I really have COPD, not asthma (though I was treated for asthma for some 40 years). I am angry that she didn't tell me this. I don't like the way this drug is making me feel. Here it is 5 AM, and I can't sleep. And my breathing is no better either. I feel like I'm on speed. In addition, the package was impossible to open, and the priming instructions made no sense (though I think I did it correctly). She gave me a sample, so I cannot tell if insurance covers it or not."

For COPD "The minute I used it, I told my doctor it was a game changer! My breathing was easier immediately! I have tried most of the others, and nothing helped as immediately as Breztri. I had no ill effects, and it’s as easy as any other inhaler. I use it twice daily (two inhalations each time)."

For COPD, Maintenance "I have COPD and was constantly short of breath and restricted in activities. Taking Breztri this last week has been a game changer. I am no longer short of breath and able to function normally and sleeping better than I have for some time. I hope it continues to be as effective over a longer period of time."

For COPD, Maintenance "I love it! I feel like I am not ill at all. It is expensive at $1,500 per month, and that card will not work for me. Sadly, my insurance won't cover it, and after my second sample, I will have to stop it. I'll be back to not being able to breathe again. Finally found something that really works, and it’s way out of my reach."

"I was given a sample by my pulmonologist after I got bronchitis from a cold. It worked great for the first 2 weeks (was using it for about 5 weeks) but then I started to feel anxiety only when I took the evening dose (using 2 puffs in the AM and 2 puffs at PM). Also, I started getting night sweats. I took it for a month, and I'm stopping it because I don't like the anxiety feeling and I think it made me start coughing again. I don't want to stay on it if I'm getting these side effects."

"I have been on this since Oct 2022. I have noticed increased mucus, shortness of breath, terrible coughing, headache, and hives! I finally did research and found I had several symptoms! I stopped it right away and am going to my doctor today."
