For Asthma, Maintenance "I was diagnosed with asthma at 43 after having over a year of terrible sinus infections (my sense of smell was completely gone) and being treated every other month with prednisone and antibiotics. I was put on Fasenera, but it did not do anything for me. My asthma doctor thought the sinus infection was related to my asthma, so I had sinus surgery, where they discovered many polyps. After the sinus surgery, I was right back to the same conditions as before. I was put on Dupixent, and about two days after the first dose (600 mg), my nose/sinus discharged some of the craziest stuff I had ever seen. Almost a year later, I have had no more sinus infections, and I have not used an inhaler in almost all of that time. Dupixent has worked incredibly well for me."

For Eczema "I started this horrible drug, Dupixent, in April 2020 for pruritus nodularis and stopped it 3 weeks ago. It would cause me to sleep round the clock and could get nothing done as I couldn't get anything done. It also caused me to break out with scary eczema all over and caused the skin to peel off my hands and my heels. I had no life. Hope to spend a whole day awake soon. It did stop my severe itching at night, but is now returning. Time will tell. This stuff is bad. Stay away from it!"

For Atopic Dermatitis "I started Dupixent in Feb for dermatitis. After 8 weeks, I noticed a significant improvement. My body had been about 80% covered in red patches, and all of it cleared. After 1 month passed, I started experiencing terrible side effects including conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and cracked skin on eyelids. I saw an eye doctor 3 times and was put on steroid eye drops. Later, I saw an ophthalmologist to ensure my eyes weren't being damaged by the steroids I was using. Luckily, no significant damage was done, but side effects persisted. At the end of the 6th month, I decided to stop. The side effects were outweighing the benefits. After being drug-free for 2 months, my eczema hasn't flared up at all. I am still suffering from the eye problems, but I am hoping time will heal. My advice is, if you start feeling better, don't be afraid to stop the needle and start again at a later date if needed. You may have been experiencing a flare, and once under control, can be managed using other creams and less harmful options."

For Eczema "This drug gave me my life back. My severe atopic dermatitis, skin infections, and hives are gone. I had issues with my eyes for the first six months and almost quit. I used Eucrisa around my eyes and got them under control. Now I only have to do minor spot treatments every once in a while. Thank goodness for this medicine. I was one miserable person before. I itched all day and night. I have my life back. So thankful!!!"

For Asthma, Maintenance "At age 63, my lifelong asthma was getting harder to control. After 40+ years on various doses of steroids, I was having monthly exacerbations that responded slowly to higher doses. Then I started Dupixent. Over the course of nine months, I was able to wean off steroids completely. I sleep well, I have good exercise tolerance, and I've had only two asthma exacerbations in a year. Now I look forward to an active retirement, travel, hiking, bicycling -- all the things I thought I was losing. Dupixent changed my life."

For Eczema "I have a urinary infection with pain and blood. Doctor gave me Keflex 500mg three times per day for a 7-day course. After the third tablet on the first day, the pain is almost gone and there is no more blood. Very happy and will continue to finish the whole 7-day course. Keflex works very well for me."

For Asthma, Maintenance "I take it for my asthma. This medicine was life-altering. I can breathe. No cough. It worked within the first couple of weeks. Amazing! I haven’t had an ER visit or a round of prednisone since. I have been on it for over a year and a half."

For Asthma, Maintenance "I have been on prednisone every day since being diagnosed with asthma 12 years ago. I got my first injection of Dupixent in June 2019. My breathing has been incredible since then, the best in 12 years. Now the bad: 24 hours after the first injection, I developed flu-like symptoms and a sinus infection. It has taken 3 months of antibiotics to clear that up. With the sinus infection, I now suffer from eustachian tube dysfunction. The ear and face pain is so severe that prednisone is the only pain reliever that works. The ENT believes that Dupixent is the cause of both the sinus infection and the ear problem. Surgery is the only non-steroid option for the ears if I stay on Dupixent. I’m 68 years old, and it feels great to have the breathing capability of a 30-year-old for the first time in 12 years. I’m on more prednisone now than I was with asthma to control the ear pain, so I’ve gained nothing."

For Asthma, Maintenance "Worked great on my asthma, but I have lost my vision in my left eye. They can't correct it, and it is at 20/600. My vision changes started within 3-4 months of starting Dupixent, and that is the only thing that has changed in my life : ( My eye doctor reports seeing this in 5 or 6 of her patients on Dupixent. I just hope my vision comes back now I am stopping it. Wonder if anyone else has had vision changes and if it got better coming off the med? And PS, it does hurt to get it!!"

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "I started Dupixent about 2 months ago. I have received 4 injections so far. I have suffered from absolutely terrible allergies, nasal polyps, and asthma for the last 6-7 years. I was also diagnosed with AERD. I tried every medicine possible. I was on prednisone all the time, which caused terrible weight gain, etc. I am now 23 years old. About 4 years ago, I had major sinus surgery due to severe nasal polyps. It helped greatly at the time. Over the last year, my symptoms started up again, and my polyps and asthma had come back. My ENT decided to start me on Dupixent after a dose of steroids. So far, Dupixent is a LIFESAVER for me!! I haven't used my inhaler for weeks (except for when I exercise) and only have to use my steroid inhaler once a day. I have been able to cut back on my decongestant meds. I can also finally sleep at night without coughing or waking up wheezing! It's a lifesaver! I feel almost normal again! I haven't experienced any bad side effects yet."

For Eczema "I’m writing this for my son, who is 19 and has had eczema since he was about 13 months. We finally decided to try Dupixent last month. Unfortunately, the side effects for him after being given the loading dose only have caused him to have a burning sensation, like an internal sunburn that still has not gone away. It’s been over three weeks. He, like most people with eczema, has a very high tolerance for skin pain. This has been really hard to watch him struggle with this side effect. PLEASE BE AWARE! I wished I would have found this site before the first dose, we would have reconsidered starting medication. We’re thankful at this point that’s all the effects he’s had from such a promising drug."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "Started Dupixent in October 2021. In 2013, I was diagnosed with chronic sinus polyps. I had some removed in 2014. I had a CAT scan in 2016, and the image was completely white!! I was full, so full I had vertigo, could not sleep, I was absolutely exhausted. Went for surgery in November 2016. That was the best gift ever - in 2019, the polyps came back. I did a round of prednisone - and was on Pulmicort applied by laying back as it was shot up my nasal cavity. Lots of steroids. I went to an allergist and found out I was allergic to pollen and grass. In 2020, the polyps got worse, and I was booked for surgery. In August of 2021, my ENT told me about Dupixent - I applied for it and started in October - I had 2 shots so far. My sense of smell came back in one week. I can feel it working, and my sinuses are opening up. However, the side effects I am having include headaches, insomnia (very bad), dryness of my nasal passages, and dry mouth. It’s only been 2 weeks so far. I’ll post an update in a month or so."

For Eczema "Have had eczema my whole life. Really got worse and could not get clear for about 3 years. Was prescribed Dupixent and got relief. After about 6 months, began having problems with my eyes. Was treated for conjunctivitis and dry eyes. Had some relief, but symptoms kept occurring over a 6-month period, and my lips were also being affected, so I discontinued Dupixent. My eyes and lips were red and itching. Eye doctor diagnosed floppy eye syndrome. Dermatologist diagnosed eye mites. Was treated for both with little relief. Told to use Vaseline on my lips. Haven’t worn my contacts for over 3 months. Finally went to a teaching hospital and am being treated for fungus on my eyes and lips. I am now getting better after 4 days. I think that I may finally have the correct diagnosis. I am able to keep my eczema under control with topical creams now. The Dupixent helped in the beginning, but I feel that I was on it for way too long. I had also been getting small random rashes that have also gone away."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "At the start of the pandemic, I got a sore throat, post-nasal drip, and cough. Naturally, no one wanted to see me. Months go by and the symptoms persist, and I finally get to see an ENT, allergist, gastro doc, everybody. Turns out I'm allergic to every tree known to man. Lol. Finally, after steroids, antibiotics, nasal sprays, I get to get a CT scan... oh boy. My entire sinus cavity is littered with polyps. And after being told surgery is the only thing that'll work and that we're gonna have to do a full turbectomy, I said let me get a second opinion. New ENT doc said, try Dupixent. Started it in January, it is now the end of April, and almost all of the polyps are gone. I did also have to go on emeprazole for GERD, but finally, 14 months later, all my symptoms are gone. Dupixent is legit!"

For Eczema "I have had eczema almost all my life and have tried every cream and light therapy and injections with nothing working. My asthma doctor told me about Dupixent and I started to take the injections every 2 weeks. I saw some improvement early, and after every injection, it got better. It took longer than they said it would, but after about 6 months, I was totally clear. It has changed my life and anybody with eczema needs to take this drug because it works. I have been on Dupixent now for almost 2 years, and I am still eczema free."

For Prurigo Nodularis "Don’t touch this drug! I've had both my ankles extremely damaged by this drug. I’ve had 2 surgeries in the last 3 months, 1 on my right ankle and a torn cartilage on my right knee. Last week, I had an MRI, and it shows I’ve degenerative disc disease in my neck. I can no longer walk on my feet, the damage is that bad. I’ve gone from never having any problems with my joints and never falling to being in a wheelchair. I’ll see Dupixent in the law courts."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "Well, like many others I see reviews from, I suffer from nasal polyps. I have been dealing with them for over 10 years. I have had 2 surgeries (inpatient) and 1 outpatient surgery. Still, my polyps return. I have been without a sense of smell and taste for the whole 10 years. Well, this past Wed, I got my first 2 injections of Dupixent, and the next day I was able to smell odors. I was so excited I went to my spice drawer and was able to smell things I have missed for a decade. Thank you so much for this medicine, and I hope I just continue to improve."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "Started the Dupixent 300 mg shots in Nov. 2020 when I was referred to a pulmonologist by my primary. Kept getting lung infections and a round of antibiotics and prednisone only to see it come back every 4-6 weeks. All precipitated by a sinus infection and more antibiotics. The past 18 months was brutal with asthma exacerbations and sinus infections. I have had two sinus surgeries since 2009. Also have been on allergy shots. My pulmonologist finally diagnosed me with eosinophilic asthma. I’m at 10 weeks now and can say that my sinus inflammation is almost nonexistent and my congestion is less and less every week. I did not expect my sinus symptoms to nearly be gone. Dupixent is a game changer!"

For Asthma, Maintenance "I had multiple severe side effects from the first dose two weeks ago. I got flu-like symptoms for 48 hours: hot flashes/sweating, headache, felt feverish, and felt quite fatigued. My heart was racing for over two days after the shots. I already suffer from recurrent UTIs, and right after the Dupixent, I got a terrible increase in bladder pain that I’m still suffering with. I have been extremely depressed because of the bladder pain and having to pee every half hour. I have a rash in the two spots where I was injected with Dupixent. My eyes were red and extremely dry and irritated the first two days after the shots; now they are slightly red and very dry and gritty. My asthma and allergies seemed to clear up right away but have returned less than two weeks after the shot. No way I’m taking this again."

For Atopic Dermatitis "Took the loading dose of 600 mg, and my eyes got red, itchy, and puffy. Advised my dermatologist, and he gave me a Rx for an eyedrop called Bepahamide. This is a combination of steroid (prednisolone) and antibiotic in one eye drop. Both eyes, twice a day for 10 days. Eyes got a little better. Took the second dose (300 mg). Eyes got worse. Went back to the dermatologist, and he gave a second course of the same eye drop with no improvement. Went to my ophthalmologist. He did a complete eye exam. The ophthalmologist had to look up Dupixent when I told him it was one of the side effects of this medication. He suggested an antihistamine OTC eye drop called Zantidor. Been using Zantidor, and still, my eyes have not cleared. Saw noticeable improvement in my skin after the first 2 doses, but unfortunately, stopped using Dupixent due to severe eye irritation. Now what? My eyes aren't getting better, and the dermatologist has gone back to topical corticosteroid. Can someone please tell me what to do about my eyes?"

For Asthma, Maintenance "Started Dupixent for severe asthma. Within 24 hours after the first shot, my breathing suddenly became much worse, and I almost went to the hospital. I was reluctant to do the second, but had to see if it was the medication or a fluke. Sure enough, after the second shot, I developed another severe attack, and my breathing worsened significantly for almost another week until the med left my system. My doctor is pulling me off due to the reaction I’m having."

For Eczema "I did the study for this drug, all 3 phases, and have been on it since 2015. I never dreamed it would actually work. It works amazingly. I had to stop for the transition once the FDA approved this, and oh my God, I wake up all hours of the night itching, I get hot and itch. I am finally taking it again. I can't imagine my life without this stuff."

For Asthma, Maintenance "Went on Dupixent with worsening asthma and problems from prednisone. First dose of Dupixent slightly helped my breathing, and the second shot saw more improvement, I was getting excited that I could stop my asthma drugs eventually. Been asthmatic since childhood, along with my older brother and mother. Started getting herpes outbreaks after the third shot, but prior to Dupixent, they were well-controlled. I hardly ever had breakouts, but now breakouts are happening regularly. Also noticed racing heart and palpitations, the last shot sent my blood pressure soaring right after the shot, along with elevated heart rate. I hate asthma because it has made life harder for me, and the steroids have come with many bad side effects, but tonight, with my heart racing again, I have decided to stop Dupixent."

For Chronic Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps "My Dr. gave me Dupixent in hope of clearing up chronic sinuses. By the fourth shot, I told her I was getting headaches and contributed to this drug. She disagreed and administered a fifth shot, but I said I was through with the drug if I got headaches. After about a week, the headaches came back to the extreme. It’s been five weeks now, and I am still suffering along with other side effects. One would have to be crazy to take this drug and deal with the pain and anxiety that I am going through."

For Atopic Dermatitis "I had debilitating hives for over three years. I was no longer leaving my house because I was in so much pain and discomfort all the time. I saw every specialist my doctor could think of, trying to figure out what the underlying cause was, but never did figure it out. My dermatologist suggested we try Dupixent, and within a week, I was almost 80 percent clear. Now, 3 years later, I’m 100 percent clear. It has been a literal lifesaver for me."
