For Middle Ear Infections "Took the first 2 in the evening on 2/20/2023. The next day had an echo at 12:30 PM. BP was over 240. Have been trying the RX the doctor prescribed and am on the second RX now. BP still high 3 weeks later - this morning 190/76! The sinus/ear infection is gone, though."

For Bronchitis "This medication is garbage! I have had acute bronchitis for 7 days, started this medication on day 2, took the last pill today. I feel awful. My lung hurts when I cough, still not coughing anything up. Feel just as bad as I did before starting this Z-Pack."

For Upper Respiratory Tract Infection "5-day pack took 2. First day, no problem. Second day, 1. Third day, 1. That night, couldn't sleep at all, heart was pounding and skipping, diarrhea, headache, muscle pain from front wrapping around to back, felt anxious, dizzy, felt like I was spinning. Stopped taking. Next day, still had symptoms, can't wait till it is out of my body. Never had trouble with any antibiotics before. This was my first time taking this medicine. I wish I had read side effects before I took it."

For Bronchitis "Dr. said, 'I know that you said azithromycin doesn't work for you, but let's give it another try.' She said, obviously disbelieving me. I have yet again finished a Z pack. I (yet again) still have bronchitis. Wasted time. At least I get no side effects from this. On to the next RX."

For Bronchitis "Zpack made me break out with a rash and scratch n scratch n scratch some more. Both of my legs, top to bottom, both broke out, the itching kept me up all night along with my cough. Well, finished the Zpack, figured getting rid of bronchitis was more important than itchy reaction. Well, after scratching till I broke skin, I still have a nagging cough and phlegm, it's significantly less and much thinner, but still there."

For Chlamydia Infection "This is my first time getting Chlamydia. I can honestly say I cried so much because I didn’t know how I got it. My boyfriend had gotten tested 2 weeks before we had intercourse, and I got tested right after him and came up with nothing. He didn’t have any symptoms of it, and I didn’t either. I only had BV, and I don’t know, maybe that made me prone to get Chlamydia. But let me get to the point. With my anxiety and phobia of pills, it took me 3-4 days to drink the pills because I was scared of taking the 4 pills (1000 mg) all together. Reading these reviews of how people reacted made me anxious, but I reacted fine for now as I’m writing this sitting on the toilet. Yes, it does give you some stomach aches here and there. They were strong at first until I fell asleep around 1 AM, and it made me feel very gassy and nauseous. I hate it. But keep yourself hydrated at all times and take it before bed!! Don’t be scared to take it. Hopefully, I get cured from this, and it never comes back!"

"I had a bad sinus infection. Normally take Z-Pak as I am allergic to many antibiotics. This was a different Z-Pak than I had gotten before from my drugstore. This antibiotic is made by Sandoz. Previous Z-Paks were made by another company. Anyway, after I had taken 3 of the pills, I noticed my joints were aching but ignored it because I had a sinus infection. On day 4, I still didn't feel any better in my sinuses, but the achiness was worse. The bottom line is, I couldn't take the last pill because of too much achiness. I called my pharmacist and told him what happened, and he didn't seem concerned. I will go to another drugstore to get a more efficient Z-Pak."

For Chlamydia Infection "I had the one-time 1g dose pack of Azithromycin for Chlamydia. It says to take on an empty stomach, but as soon as I drank the mixture, the food was ready, so I literally ate a full course meal with it. Then, about 45 minutes later, my stomach started to hurt. I used the bathroom twice with diarrhea."

For Chlamydia Infection "Okay, so this morning I found out I have chlamydia. Well, I got the powder medication, one dose. I ate before taking it and took it with 2 ounces of water, like directed. Well, 2 minutes after taking it, I had like projectile vomit. I am really concerned because I think I threw it all back up, so I'm going to call and talk to my doctor about it in the morning."

For Bronchitis "I have asthma, so maybe it makes it worse. But it came on suddenly with no fever. No change in pulse. Just a cough that hurt the back of my head so bad that it rattled my brain and made me see fireworks in my head. I don't think this Z-Pak worked for me because after laying in bed, no energy for 1 week, I went to the doc again. This time he prescribed Bactrim, and it seems to be working - I'm feeling better. The doc asked if I had a loose stool. No, I didn't, but my BF has the same symptoms and a very loose stool. I just wish he would go to the doc so we don't pass this back and forth. Azithromycin has worked for me in the past, but not with whatever this super cough is. It's feeling like nothing ever before is... I just wonder how contagious it is."

For Bronchitis "Every time I had bronchitis, this was the only thing that seemed to work. Every time. Once, because I had an HMO, they made the doctor try Amoxicillin first. I got better initially, but came back worse before I even finished the last two days. He put me on the Z Pack. I was better by the third day, and 100% cough gone. I quit smoking and only got bronchitis two times in fourteen years. Then I got it again, and the doctors are saying they don't use it anymore to treat bronchitis. Put me on Amoxicillin again. 90% better. Two days after my last antibiotics, it came back with a vengeance. It's like they want to keep me sick and coming back. And this was supposedly a pulmonary specialist."

For Sinusitis "This drug worked after 5 days on my sinus infection. On the 6th day, I experienced vomiting, dizziness, stomach cramps, constipation, black stool, hypertension, fast beating of the heart, low energy, hives on my face, headaches, swollen eyelids, and dark circles under my eyes. Day 11 after taking the last dose, still experiencing a fast heartbeat, swelling in my feet, and hives on my face. Low energy."

I had this bronchitis for a month, it's a little better but not gone. Now call the doctor again, third time got an office tomorrow. This dose pack is junk, send it back to India."

For Upper Respiratory Tract Infection "Dose: Azithromycin 500 mg four times a day. Prescribed for 7 days. On day 2 now, I feel the medication is working, feeling a little better already, but all day I've been with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and back pain. I usually don't get any side effects from antibiotics, but I'm struggling with this one. If side effects continue on day 3, I'm calling the doctor. Could be the dose is too high, who knows. I'm not enjoying this so far."
