For ADHD "My 5 1/2-year-old son was given this in the past month. We switched from Quillivant XR. This is much better for him. He thinks much more clearly, can focus, and have a conversation. He doesn't have the anxiety that Quillivant was causing or the emotional crash when the medicine wore off. It's very expensive even with insurance since it's so new, but the doctor gave us a discount card to make it very affordable, and another problem is all pharmacies don't carry it. Overall, much better for his ADHD and fewer side effects. His school even noticed an immediate difference."

For ADHD "Because of the Adderall shortage, I was recently switched to Adzenys, and I’m not a huge fan of it. I guess it somewhat works, but for the most part, it just makes my stomach hurt and makes me feel insane. My mood swings on this medication are horrible. I’ve never had mood swings before (unless I’m on my lady days), and it’s terrible. I never had a problem with going to sleep on Adderall, but this medication keeps me up at night. I have pretty bad anxiety, and this medication makes it a million times worse. Other than the side effects, the drug works fine, but it’s hard to focus with all of the side effects."

For ADHD "Wow! I was prescribed 15.7 mg Adzenys XR-ODT in place of 30 mg XR + 2 10 mg IR Adderall due to shortage. At first, I felt spacey and anxious, so I split the tab in half. After the third day, it was like a miracle, I’m more focused, and it’s way smoother than the Adderall (now taking a full pill). I feel way more like myself, and I also notice that I don’t have the same edginess I did on the Adderall. I had no intention to switch medications, but I don’t think I’ll be going back to Adderall as this seems to be a much better option for me (inattentive type). I think that initial switch was the cause of the weird feeling at first, but I’m glad I stuck it out because I feel way better."

For ADHD "33-year-old male. I have been off and on stimulants my whole life. I take Lamictal, Cymbalta, Xanax, and Evekeo. Evekeo has been an excellent medication for me, and it just went generic, which is a huge plus. I don't get the tunnel vision that Adderall gave me, or the extremely anxious and depressed feelings I got from Adderall. Ritalin made my body, even my bones, ache. I felt like I had the flu, and it actually made me less effective. Vyvanse made my blood pressure extremely high, and I felt like I metabolized the dose extremely fast. I felt somewhat manic on the medication. I take 30 mg of Evekeo, 10, 3x per day."

For ADHD "Adzenys 15.7 mg was my saving grace. After a bunch of trial and error and months of trying other ADHD medications that never worked, I was ready to throw in the towel. I was up to a high dose of Adderall daily that I had never felt anything with besides painful crashes, and Strattera made me feel wired and foggy. Adzenys was my perfect puzzle piece after constant frustration with Adderall somehow never working and Strattera inducing severe anxiety. Adzenys is a subtle jerk forward for me and doesn't wire me too hard on things to the point of being antisocial and anxious. I still feel like myself on this medication, just a version of myself that strives to be productive and aim for better habits. That being said, though, my task initiation isn't really there, but once I get myself to sit down and start one, I can controllably focus on it to the degree I want. It is definitely extended release and can feel it hit at random times harder than others, but I've never had a painful crash."

For ADHD "After both Ritalin and Adderall aggravated my anxiety and caused my heart to race, my doctor suggested Evekeo. It did not cause my heart to race, but I was only on 5 mg, and it did not help my symptoms. My doctor upped me to 10 mg, but I was unable to afford it even with the copay card because I don't have very good insurance. I'm trying to find a way to afford it because it was so great to find an ADHD med that didn't cause my heart to race like others."

For ADHD "Excellent medicine for those who just want to have focus without the euphoria or racing thoughts that often make us anxious. I've been taking Adderall IR generic from (Teva) for over 5 years. I changed a few times to Adderall XR brand when I couldn't find Teva's on the market anymore. I came to the generic by (Lanette), which works, but it makes me much more agitated and anxious than focused with tasks. Evekeo won't give you that euphoria that Adderall gives, but it will give you the results you need from your treatment because I just changed it, and I soon realized that I was finally able to do things without overthinking and not knowing where to start. Evekeo is purer than Adderall because it is amphetamine sulfate only, with the composition (levoamphetamine) 50/50 (dextroamphetamine). Adderall is a mixture of salts containing 4 types of salts, and the composition is (levoamphetamine) 25/75 (dextroamphetamine). I take 10mg 4x a day = 40mg. If 20mg pills were made, it would be great."

For ADHD "Been on this for about 3 months now. At first, it was great in keeping me focused on tasks at work and at home, but it is starting to not be as effective, I feel. My doctor prescribed me the 18.8 mg variety based on my weight and also because I am a gastric bypass patient, as I digest and absorb things differently, which is why we didn't go the more known route of Adderall. As I've taken this medication, especially over the last month, I've noticed I have more anxiety, and I'm not my normal happy-go-lucky self. I have a follow-up in April with my doctor and will address these issues then to see what other game plan we can come up with. I've heard from a friend that also had gastric bypass that she takes Vyvanse."

For ADHD "I have been on Adderall 20 mg 3x/day for a couple of years. My doctor switched me to this med because I was experiencing increased anxiety. I have a lot of issues at home, which I think is the cause of the increase in anxiety. My doctor, however, thinks Adderall might be the cause. I know my body, and this new medication just is NOT working for me. I wanted to switch back, but she wants me to try 18.8 mg instead of 12.5. I don't have much hope because it didn't do a thing for my focus or attention, and my energy is completely depleted. I feel like I have been given a placebo."

For ADHD "I started taking Adzenys about a week ago, and so far, it hasn't been doing much for me besides me having side effects. I have diarrhea, and my heart rate increases/feels like it's beating harder. I'm worried about my heart because I have had heart problems in the past. I also feel like I'm not fully there, like I'm kind of in a daze/slow thinking. Also, last night I woke up with bad anxiety, and then today I feel like I want to cry all the time. I don't know if the anxiety/crying are side effects, but this is not how I usually act. I am going to take it for another week or so and only take half a pill to see if some of the side effects hopefully go away. I really want Adzenys to work because it is affordable. If not, I'll probably have to go back to using Vyvanse and just deal with the side effects."

For ADHD "After Adderall and Ritalin made me incredibly irritable, moody, and anxious, I tried Evekeo, and it is my miracle drug! I've been on it for 2 years now and have no complaints. I recommend this drug if you have failed the more popular stimulants! 11/10 recommend!!"
