For Osteoarthritis "I'm a 65-year-old male and for 2 years I've dealt with the OA in my right knee that made me think it was time for a knee replacement since I was told sometime back that it might be my next option. Went to the orthopedic doctor, took some X-rays and said he thought my pain was from a few bone spurs and OA and suggested we try the Euflexxa shots. My last shot was on the 5th of January and my knee feels great and now I can get my life back in order."

For Osteoarthritis "With most joint fluid replacement plans, you have to wait. MDs should be telling you to get the full series, keep your range of motion good. Don't make a decision about effectiveness until you COMPLETE the series, then wait 6-8 weeks. Be wary of the reviews of those who indicate relief after one shot."

For Osteoarthritis "Had my second of three Euflexxa injections yesterday afternoon and am finding that my knee feels better with each shot. The injections result in a bit of a pinch followed by brief pressure, but are not painful. Seven years ago, the same doctor who is administering the shots scoped my knee to shave off bone spurs, vacuum bone chips, perform a lateral release, and micro-fracture. Ultimately, the knee is going to have to be replaced, but I'm hanging my hopes on Euflexxa for several years of additional relief before taking the jump to surgery. The downside is that my insurance company, Regence, will no longer cover Euflexxa beginning July 1, 2015. I intend to write a letter recounting my success to appeal for continuing coverage."

For Osteoarthritis "I'm starting on my 2nd set of Euflexxa injections. My first series was 6 months ago. I didn't think it helped my knees very much, but thinking back over the last 6 months, I've had very little discomfort in my knees. I've hiked and played tennis all summer, so maybe it did work! I'm just now feeling the discomfort returning, so I'm now going in for another 'round' of shots. The shots are not painful for me, just a little uncomfortable but not real pain. My insurance pays for the injections. I'm 62 and have bone on bone in both knees. Just hoping to put off TKR for a while."

For Osteoarthritis "Had first series a year ago, no pain or swelling after injections. My knees are bone on bone and doctor wanted to do knee replacement, too much arthritis and due to age they did not want to do arthroscopic surgery. I refuse steroid injections as they only mask the problem. I am very sensitive to medications so I was very worried about a reaction from Euflexxa but had none. Pain was gone after 2nd shot and has lasted a year. Just had next series in left knee and am having right knee done starting next week. The only other option is knee replacement and after what happened to my husband, will only do it if the pain becomes unbearable. Totally satisfied with Euflexxa"

For Osteoarthritis "I used the Euflexxa injections for a couple of years, and they were a complete lifesaver! When I went for what I thought was going to be another round, I was told when I got into the exam room that Priority Health will no longer cover it, and unless I wanted to pay out of pocket (thousands of dollars), I would have to go back to cortisone shots, which don't work at all for me. I'm so sad... I've had tons of knee pain in both knees since I had to stop the Euflexxa, and now my doctor is recommending knee replacements in both knees. Shame on you, Priority Health! Insurance companies make me sick! They'd rather pay for knee replacements than a relatively inexpensive drug that works!? It makes no sense... and the impact on people's lives when they have to have major surgery is just unnecessary... Cover the drugs, please!"

For Osteoarthritis "I am 45 with bone-on-bone osteoarthritis. MD said I'm too young for TKR. I had a meniscal tear removed in July but still had extreme pain. After PT, MD recommended Euflexxa. Figured I'd give it a try, can't hurt. I finished my 3rd injection 4 weeks ago. Climbing stairs and walking is easier and less painful. There are days that the knee pain is worse, but that is handled by a dose of ibuprofen. I am no longer taking the max of anti-inflammatories on a daily basis. These shots have made daily activities less painful. Allow 6 weeks from the first shot to feel benefits and communicate with your MD of any issues. So far I'm hopeful."

For Osteoarthritis "The Euflexxa provides relief for me for the pain of bone on bone in both knees. Originally, the relief would last for a year, now it's down to about nine months. I have extreme pain upon receiving the injections. I'm very interested to see that no one else seems to have this. My MD/PA ices the knee first and uses a topical spray, but the actual injecting of the Euflexxa causes me a lot of pain. Yesterday, the PA kept telling me to breathe. She was afraid I was going to pass out. The first shot of the series of three is always the worst, so I'm hoping next week's injections won't be so bad. This is probably my fourth time to have these shots."

For Osteoarthritis "I just finished my 3rd series of 3 shots each. Give it 2-3 weeks after your last shot. Stay away from cardio and ice it daily. This is truly an amazing product. It hurts during and after and take it easy."

For Osteoarthritis "I had my first shots on 1-21-16. OMG, did it hurt so bad! Lots of pressure, but I got through it. I felt amazing after a couple of hours. I'm so glad to be rid of that pain. Ouch! I had the second shots a week later in both knees, and it was less painful this time; it went great. On Feb 9, I had my last shots. No pain; my knees feel great still on Feb 17! :) I'm glad I did this series of Euflexxa shots! I couldn't even walk before; now, wow, I'm good! Hope they last a long time! ;)"

For Osteoarthritis "I went in today for my first of the 3 injections of Euflexxa. I had psyched myself out pretty bad by reading some of the reviews, so I wanted to at least share mine because it was a good experience. I am no fan of needles or injections and had great difficulty after going through Prolough therapy injections. But this was 2 seconds of pinch, a little burning discomfort but nothing compared to what I was worried it would be, and my knees feel better now than when I went in today. So for now, I have to say I am glad I did it and will be continuing with the other 2 injections in the coming weeks. Best of luck to everyone and pain-free days!"

For Osteoarthritis "These series of 3 shots were a godsend to me. I'm a very active person, and the knee was so severe that I could not walk without limping. It took 6 weeks after the 3rd shot to get relief. I'm back to walking and able to ride my bicycle for 10 plus miles 4 times a week. I also participate in several activities in a retirement park during the winter months in FL. My spouse and I are able to take cruises, and I'm pleased that I can walk the whole ship from one end to the other. I'm also able to get off the ship and walk around the ports."

For Osteoarthritis "I am one week out from my third series (both knees) of Euflexxa injections, and so far, so good. More than forty years of competing and instructing taekwondo wore my cartilage away (I've also had both hips replaced), and I faced some challenging days. Since Euflexxa was introduced by my pain management doctor, I have begun trusting my legs again. There is less pain most days. Of course, none of us know how long the relief will last, but I am happy with my experience to date. The treatments -- my first injection also contained cortisone -- were not all that bad. Good luck to all."

For Osteoarthritis "I have had osteoarthritis in both knees since 1997. I had to have arthroscopy on the right knee in 1997. The pain over the years has been horrible. Last year a new orthopedic doctor asked me to try Euflexxa, and I said I would try anything at this point. I was in so much pain when I went in for my first round of shots. The shots hurt so bad, but my doctor said, 'Just give it time.' The second shot hurt less, and I could tell the shots were starting to work. The third shot still hurt, and my doctor kept saying, 'Trust me.' Two weeks after all three shots, the pain had subsided so much that I only had to take my pain meds when I went to bed. I am currently on my third set of shots, and I will not go past my six months. This is a Godsend!"

For Osteoarthritis "I am a 65-year-old active male. I had a scope on my left knee for a torn medial meniscus. For 8 months, I was able to resume my activities, including golf, walking, biking, and swimming. Then, my knee began to swell and become painful again. My doc gave me a corticosteroid injection (pretty painful) in the knee joint. I received immediate relief, which lasted about 3 months before the swelling and pain returned. I conferred with my doc again and opted for Euflexxa instead of another steroid injection. The pain from the injection was minimal, and about a week after the 3rd injection, I have been pain-free. I still ice my knee after exercise but hope that this remedy will buy me 6 months before I have another course of injections."

"In April 2014, my knees just simply gave out. No cartilage, the doc said. I tried cortisone, it did absolutely nothing. I started Euflexxa in July '14. I got 1 shot a week for 3 weeks straight. I felt better, I still limped and could not put weight on it, but it was better. In January 2015, I took the 2nd series of 3 shots. It got better again... limp reduced, and I could put more weight on it. I just got my 3rd series over the past 3 weeks. Instantly, with the first shot, my knee felt better... vast improvement. The second shot was even better. About 5 days after the second shot, it has been 2 days and all of a sudden, I realized, wow, I haven't had any knee pain in 2 straight days! So much so, I FORGOT about my knees! It takes time, but it works!!"

For Osteoarthritis "I am an active 60 y/o male; have had 2 surgeries to fix meniscus tears on the left knee; also arthritic in that knee. I am 1 week out from the 3rd injection. 1st shot was good - no side effects; 2nd shot - some increased swelling and stiffness; 3rd shot ok; one week out and I notice that I am not sore after sitting at my desk for an hour or more. I actually have to start getting used to trusting my knee when I stand up again! Definitely helped! I have not given it the acid test as I am a backpacker and I would usually get significant pain after the first couple of miles hiking. Initial reaction is that my knee is not perfect with 20% of my meniscus left, and I do still have some pain, but the shots did help. No complaints."

For Osteoarthritis "I am 65 with osteoarthritis in both knees. My orthopedist gave me a round of cortisone, saying if it helped, the Euflexxa most likely would as well. Luckily, the cortisone helped; I proceeded with three sets of injections. Both the cortisone and the first two sets of Euflexxa were excruciatingly painful, all administered by different people with scan guidance. The fourth set (third Euflexxa) was absolutely painless due to the skill of the person administering. I almost didn't finish the series because of the pain of the injections. However, in the long run, the Euflexxa gave me five months totally pain-free. One knee has started to become painful again, but the other is still great at eight months. Time for another round of Euflexxa!"

For Osteoarthritis "My first visit to my doctor for osteoarthritis in both knees, I could hardly walk. I was in so much pain, and the pain was unbearable. I have been getting Euflexxa injections now for almost 4 years. I have absolutely no pain at all. I get one injection in each knee three weeks apart every 6 months. This is a miracle drug. It has kept me very mobile and active. I am almost 81 years old, and last year went back to work in a women's clothing store. Loving our customers and assisting their shopping needs keeps me young."

For Osteoarthritis "I'm a 55 y/o female who suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and polyneuropathy. I had my first injection yesterday. The injection was a bit more of a sting than most shots, and there was a brief period of pressure, but overall, not that painful. It may or may not be related to Euflexxa, but a couple of hours later, I was curled up in bed in incredible inflammatory pain. I received the injection around 2:30 pm, the inflamed state began around 4:00 pm, but by 11:00 pm or so, I was feeling great! I didn't get to sleep until after 3:00 am, slept in to 10:00 am, and woke up a bit weak. After meds and a cup of soup, I was revived and ready to go! I ran my errands full of energy! It felt weird that I wasn't limping!"

For Osteoarthritis "I've had 3 series of Euflexxa with good relief from bone-on-bone pain as long as I don't overdo. They make it easier to walk and reduce general pain and stiffness. They also help significantly with preventing my knee from going into a sublux position. The injections themselves aren't painful, just uncomfortable. My doctor uses a topical anesthetic and is very gentle. Any pain is brief. I have some very minimal bleeding and swelling at the injection site and take it easy afterward. I'm so grateful for Euflexxa. I received injections of Synvisc (similar, but with actual rooster comb as opposed to a synthetic) before. They worked great and I needed only 1 shot, not 3, but like many, I had a severe painful reaction with repeat injections."

For Osteoarthritis "I love Euflexxa! I've had 5 rounds of it over 5 years. Yes, I'm bone on bone, but still have a bit of space in my knee joint for the medication to get in and be useful. Since I've had 2 orthopods tell me that studies show that knee injections done blind only actually get in the joint space 2 out of 3 times (despite the claimed skill of the doctor in doing injections), I have the Euflexxa injected under fluoroscopy by a radiologist to be sure the medication goes to the correct space (my husband is a radiologist who suggested it this way if I wanted to be sure). Euflexxa is the difference between me being able to walk (limp) 20 feet in severe pain and me being able to walk for long distances for many hours WITHOUT pain. I'm not ready for knee replacement mentally, and this is a wonderful thing. I've never had any reaction and find pain subsides after the 2nd injection and lasts fully for 6 months, and then I start hurting again and need another round at about 8 to 10 months out."

For Osteoarthritis "Osteoarthritis is part of my life in hips, shoulders, ankles, and, most of all, those knees. My knees are bone-on-bone, and cortisone (not good for long term) is not long-lasting. Noting the complications and side effects of total knee replacements, to say nothing of pain and rehab, I am not interested in giving up my golf and life for months. My ortho doc suggested Euflexxa a year ago, and as a last resort, I agreed. I had my third week of injections yesterday, and all I can say is that I have had a HUGE improvement. On a scale of 0-10, my pain was 9.9, and now I am at minimal discomfort around a 3. Hoping it lasts for the full six months. It is wonderful to go up and down stairs forward rather than turning sideways."

For Osteoarthritis "I have osteoarthritis, bone on bone, both knees. The pain in the right knee is worse than the left. I had no relief from a cortisone injection. The right knee was injected with Euflexxa. About 72 hours post-injection, I developed bruising and swelling in the area that was injected. I was nauseous, hot, and sweaty, but had no fever. The knee was extremely painful, with increased swelling. Nothing relieved the pain. The doctor aspirated fluid and sent it for analysis and sent me for blood work. Results were normal. My experience with Euflexxa has been a nightmare. I still have pain at night and cannot sleep, and there is a constant nagging pain in the area where injected that is hard and extends upward a few inches. The doctor cannot tell me what happened. He has referred me to a surgeon to discuss knee replacement. I am thoroughly depressed over the entire experience, not to mention the constant pain."
